Everything is scheduled weeks out, but I guess that's par for the course anymore! Now, the procedure team is excellent I must say. The nurses are very thorough and the preparations efficient. However, Dr. Kneeland resembles a hummingbird, flitting from flower to flower. He boasts about how simple the procedure is and how many he's done, so there's nothing to worry about. And, it's true. The procedures go very smoothly and efficiently. But you kind of get the feeling that your just a cow getting branded, with how many procedures he's doing every day. After several days and the return of the pain questionnaire, you expect a follow-up call, that never comes! So, you try to get a hold of someone to schedule it, and you have to leave a message for a scheduler to call you. But then, you've heard that story already. All I can say is, I'm still in pain, (Lumbar stenosis at the L4/5, S1) after 2 procedures. And I wish you luck. Hopefully your experience will be better!

Dulcie and Jake are extremely well versed in their multi-level approach to my recovery. They do so much more than I ever would have expected. I had been suffering with extreme pain from osteoarthritis in both hips when I had an appointment…read morewith Dr. Makman at this office. I waited over a month for this appointment and had to pay out of my pocket as I had no insurance at the time. Dr. Makman acted like I was there for only one thing: drugs. He offered me injections, that might or might not work, and were over $1,000 each and their office would have been happy to finance them for me. He refused to discuss any kind of medication or other options for dealing with my pain. Two weeks later I was on the phone with a friend who told me about an anti-inflammatory called diclofenac (usually sold as arthrotec) that had helped with her pain a lot. I went to my GP and asked him if I could try this drug. He agreed and within 24 hours my pain had lessened by at least 80%. I was on the verge of being disabled and had already had to leave one job because it was too physical. I left their office in tears and disgust and feeling like I had been treated like a second-class citizen (no insurance) or a drug-seeker - neither of which I am. I don't know what their deal is here but I'm getting ready to make a lot of noise about them and the Montana Center for Wellness and Pain Management where I had a similarly disgusting experience. I believe these people are nothing but crooks.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, but I guess it isn't all that surprising. This is what happens when you have a monopoly on service in the valley.
