The cake looked alright, however, they did not fully follow the instructions provided when we ordered. Design details were missed, and it truly looks like they rushed on the cake. For $100, we expected more out of it. The cake itself did not taste great - it was very dense, and the filling they used was not what we ordered. He asked for a vanilla cake with a whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling. They had used a white buttercream instead, and also put an inedible fondant covering the entire cake. This turned what was supposed to be a light and airy strawberry shortcake into more of an overly sweet and dense cake, I do want to note that they did not ask any follow up questions about what to use for the cakes icing or anything of the sort (which I find strange especially at this price point for a small cake) when my husband sent in the request. They also told him they put candles in the box, but there were none. We tried to reach out to the business to resolve this offline, and they did not respond. We love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately this one did not hit the mark.

Frosting had a good flavor but because cupcakes sit in a cooled display case it was very very thick (solid). Had to wait a bit for it to thaw out. Homestyle cookie wasn't crazy for either. I asked the employee helping me if had a a lot of filling/if the dulce de leche made the cookie "too sweet" but she assured me it didn't. It wasn't for me (unfortunately threw both away after a bite). It was a lot of filling and almost just overpowering, to each their own. Customer service was fine. I probably wouldn't try it again.

I love lemon flavors, and the macaron didn't disappoint. I had seen and learned about the from The Domains farmers market. I'm so glad I finally came in to the actual bakery store front.

i ordered a custom cake two weeks in advance, and i was really disappointed by not only the outcome…read moreof the cake but the customer service i experienced. my friends helped me pick up the cake and it did not look the way i expected. they also gave the cake in a box that didnt even properly fit the cake. so when i saw the cake i called at 3:50pm to ask them if i can come back for it to be fixed - they said yes but the baker scoffed and said she would be leaving by 5:30 or 6 so getting there in the next 30 mins would be ideal. when i arrived, i let them know if it was any easier to just draw a fluffy white dog on the cake instead of the jelly cat cake then i am okay with that too since the baker needs to leave at a certain time. one of the baristas went to go ask, and she came back and said no they will be scraping everything off and redoing the whole cake. i showed her the jelly cat cake and asked her "she is doing this exact cake right?" and she responded yes. i waited an hour and the cake still did not match what i asked for, the netting and paddle were crooked and the green did not match the lighter matcha green in the reference photo. i have had both their cupcakes and their premade cakes before and always had a great experience, but i wish i didnt spend $122 for this outcome. i dont think i will be returning again.

I chose Mindy's site unseen and no tastings to create a two tiers cake for my son's rehearsal dinner. Oh my the most delicious, beautiful cake I have had the pleasure to eat. A work of delicious art. The buttercream was slickly, smooth, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The cake was moist with a beautiful crumb - outstanding. I choose the Mexican vanilla cake with buttercream and filled with a fresh strawberry compote (which I got extra of to drizzle on the pieces, so glad I did) for the bottom cake and a chocolate cake with Nutella and hazelnut buttercream.
