I had the same experience as Karen S. I hired him to help with the remodel of my Condo. He told…read moreme he could lay the ceramic tile in the kitchen and I could have done a better job myself. BLINDFOLDED! He threw way too much mortar under the tiles, never got the spacing right, and never wiped it down so there were great gobs of mortar on top of the tiles that had to be chiseled off when dry. On top of that his price was really high. He quoted me square footage from wall to wall, instead of from cabinet to cabinet. He hung the screen door and I had to have someone else come adjust it for me because it wouldn't swing back shut. He got too busy at some other job and hired some bozo to come work for me who got paint all over my patio that I couldn't even get off with the pressure washer. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!

I hired Terry Johnson to replace my bathtub/shower on May 10, 2016. He gave me an estimate and told…read moreme there would be no problem getting the job none and said he could have it done in 3 days. I later find out that he really did not know what he was doing, it took him over 5 weeks to complete the job, which was very poorly done. The bathtub was smaller, he did not fix the floor properly around my bathtub, and the vinyl around my tub was not properly sealed as a result of the tub being smaller. He never told me the tub was smaller. I noticed it on my own. I asked him to wear shoe covers before the job was done and he assured me he would. Never once did he wear them and left marks all thru the hallway in my condo. The drywall had to be replaired and repainted around my shower/tub and I ended up having to get the painter to come back behind him to clean up his tacky paint job. Do yourself a big favor and don't hire these guys!! They are awful!!!! It's been a nightmare for me! Very disorganized and unprofessional too

I had a horrible experience with this service department…read more My car was at the dealership for a total of almost six days across two separate drop-offs. I originally scheduled an appointment because I assumed the entire point of making an appointment was to avoid long wait times and have your vehicle serviced quickly. Instead, it sat there for two full days without being touched. That was incredibly inconvenient. I could've continued driving my car and dropped it off once someone was actually available to work on it instead of being without it for no reason. Once the issue was finally diagnosed, I was told the repair would take about eight hours. Since I couldn't continue being without my car, I picked it up and paid for the diagnosis, parts, and labor for the work that would be completed when I brought it back. I later found a time when being without my vehicle would be the least disruptive and dropped it off again. Even though I'd been told it was an eight-hour repair, it ended up taking almost another three days. At the end of the second day, I was told, "If people would leave the tech alone and let him work on it, it'll be done." I honestly couldn't believe that was said to me. That response made it sound like either the department was too disorganized to let a technician finish the job or there just wasn't much concern for the customer's time. Later that day, I was told the car still wasn't finished, but that I'd have it by noon the next day. That mattered because I had work-related client meetings starting at 1:00 p.m. The next morning, I was told it wouldn't be ready because someone had just been sent to get another part. I don't understand how my car could've been there for several days, after already being diagnosed during the first drop-off, before anyone realized another part was needed. They also knew I needed the car back for work. They did provide me with a rental, which allowed me to get to my meetings. But when I returned the rental and finally came to pick up my car, I was told that what I'd already paid was only a deposit and that I owed another $2,300. That brought the total cost of the repair to nearly $4,000. This was never clearly explained to me in any of my conversations with the service department. I genuinely believed I had already paid for the parts and labor, so being hit with another $2,300 after days of delays and poor communication was infuriating. The issue I was having with the car was a minor inconvenience. Had the full cost been clearly communicated to me from the beginning, I would've passed on the repair entirely or waited until I was financially prepared to spend that much. A nearly $4,000 repair shouldn't be something a customer only understands by closely examining the fine print. Clear and honest communication should be a basic standard, especially when that much money is involved. I understand that parts can be expensive and that repairs don't always go exactly as planned, especially for a Mustang Mach-E, which is a less common and more specialized vehicle. That isn't the main issue. The main issue is the lack of clear communication, the repeated delays, the inaccurate promises about when the car would be ready, and the nonchalant attitude about how long I was being left without my vehicle. Maybe this dealership considers this a normal or acceptable way to handle service, but I don't. Customers should have the total cost and payment expectations clearly explained to them, be informed when anything changes, and have their vehicles serviced within a reasonable amount of time after a scheduled appointment. I'll never return to this dealership for service or to purchase a vehicle. I really hope this experience isn't representative of Ford dealerships in general, because the entire process made it feel like my time, money, and trust didn't matter.

I visited Wyatt Johnson Ford for a routine oil change and left with a bill for over $3,500 in…read more"strongly recommended" repairs. While it's possible my vehicle required maintenance--it is a 10-year-old car, though it only has approximately 45,000 miles--I left feeling deeply unsettled and uncertain. My primary concern was the complete lack of transparency. I was presented with a long list of high-stakes repairs but was shown zero physical evidence--no old parts, test results, photos of wear, or fluid samples--to justify the leap from a simple oil change to a multi-thousand-dollar service. I wasn't even shown official Ford service intervals, just a screen in their computer. As a woman walking in alone, the process felt more like a "hostage" tactic than a consultation. They waited until my car was already in the shop and I was at home to send automated text messages requiring quick approval for a massive "pile-on" of services. Because they had my vehicle in their possession and used high-stakes language about "required" work, I felt I had no choice but to approve it--I couldn't risk leaving with a car they had labeled as potentially unsafe. To make matters worse, my service advisor joked about how much he cheated in high school. As a teacher, this did not foster trust that he had outgrown that habit. Regardless of whether the work was mechanically necessary, the experience lacked the integrity and clear communication needed to build trust. I will be looking elsewhere for my future maintenance needs.

We did not want to go wall to wall, but instead choose to get carpet remnants and have them bound (firm edging around the carpet as you may see in carpet samples) so we could place them in various areas of the house and still show off the nice wood flooring. We dealt with the Owners that were very informative and knowledgeable, very helpful and actually came in at a great price. We actually had some furniture being delivered the following week (about 8 days lead time), and they were able to accommodate our request and came in actually one day earlier. Steve and Terry were our delivery and installers....were very professional and did an awesome job making sure things were to our satisfaction before leaving. I would definately recommend Johnson Carpet in Columbia to anyone looking to get flooring. They were great to work with and very customer service oriented!!!
