I made the Groupon purchase after reading the stellar reviews that she received on Yelp, and she definitely did not disappoint. Salon Lofts is an interesting concept, where hair stylists work independently without having a common receptionist. So, all of the appointment-making is through the online scheduling system or by direct contact with the specific stylist. The space of the loft is divided up into individual small studios where each stylist works. Anyway, I think Jennifer did a wonderful job listening to my ideas and then giving me honest opinions about what would look best on me. She was very skilled and patient, and she was great to talk to. I don't get my hair cut often, but I was very impressed by Jennifer and already have my next appointment scheduled. I've been to salons in the past where they up-charge you for everything and don't offer any of their advice. I just went in for a trim and layers to prepare for my wedding, and she was very helpful with offering advice on how I should cut in the layers since I have fine hair. What more can I say about The Salon Lofts?! It is amazing. It has a great high end loft vibe and the design of the interior is impeccable and modern. This salon is everything you could want and more. The loft concept is very chic and modern with large office spaces in one large building that can be closed off by large sliding glass pane doors. Every stylist is free to decorate their loft to their own personal taste. Jenny Boehm has been my stylist for the last few years and my hair has never looked better. She listens to what I want and always has new ideas and suggestions if I'm looking for a change. Jenny is able to give me beautiful, natural looking highlights that no other stylist I've been to has been able to achieve. I've been meaning to write this review for a couple of weeks. I just moved to the Bradenton/Sarasota area and was on the hunt for a new person to do hair. After going to a couple of places and not really liking the end result I finally found Jennifer on Yelp and decided to make an appointment. She is located in the salon lofts which is really nice. Each hair stylist has their own space with their own touch. Everything was very clean. Jennifer is amazing and so personable and nice. I went there wanting to color my hair red for the first time just to give it a shot:) she gave me advice on what the best red was and the best product that would make it easier to go back to natural color if I wanted to. I also asked her for a cut and it turned out to be one of the best I have revived. She really pays attention to detail. Overall great great experience! Definitely recommend her for anything. Jenny is a wonderful person and talented stylist who I would visit at Salon Lofts in Ellisville. Before I started going to Jenny, I hated to even bother with haircuts because I could never get what I wanted which ended up with me just having an unkempt, ridiculously thick, shaggy head of hair. When my wife set me up with Jenny, she talked me through how my hair grew and what styles could really work with my hair. Now I've got a hair style that I love and take pride in and I have Jenny to thank for that. I like going to Jenny Boehm for my hair and eyebrows because she gives me honest feedback on what will look good on me! She knows her stuff when it comes to product recommendations as well. I have super straight hair (will not hold a curl for anything). Jenny recommended a special curling iron and it is amazing! My hair stays curled all day! It is so nice to know what works on my straight hair and Jenny helped me get there. In addition, I have a tricky work schedule and she is very accommodating.
