I go to them for my acrylics and for cut and dyes. They are creative, fun to hang out with while they're making me all pretty, and I recommend them every chance I get. Yesterday I got the full service - acrylics, pedicure, cut and dye from them. Patricia did my nails and hair then Michelle did my pedicure. I felt very pampered as my process was a good portion of their day and the end results made me very happy. I gave Patricia free license to "do something different" with my hair and she passed with flying colors. Totally makes me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth and its not the type of salon where I have to worry if the nail girls are talking about me in Korean!

I desperately needed my hair done and couldn't get an appointment anywhere. Someone (I can't remember her name) was extremely helpful to me. I stopped in without notice and she gave me a phone number of someone I could possibly get an appointment and some other names of salons who might take me. When it turned out that none of those options were going to work for me and because she followed up to ask how it paned out she told me she could work me in, despite her books being full for the night. She did a wonderful job on my hair and she was very knowledgeable about her trade. It's kind of scary going to someone you have never been to before and trusting them with your hair. I was really lucky to have found her. She was also really pleasant to talk to. If I ever go back up to Auburn I will definitely be getting my hair done there, I just hope I can remember her name. Saying that, the salon is friendly and unpretentious. Julie knows how to style different types of hair. She is one of the few stylists who does a great job cutting and styling my fine, straight hair. Many other stylists use layering techniques that probably look good on thick or wavy hair but don't work for me. I appreciate the way Julie listens to my ideas for my hair but suggests modifications based on my hair type and color. For example, she was able to tell me that if she highlighted my hair exactly as shown in the photo I brought in, it would look stripey because my hair is so straight. My hair looks great!
