HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND! I came in from a previous bad haircut experience and Adam got me in immediately and fixed me up just right. He took care of me when I was in a bad spot and fixed my haircut to what I wanted. He cleaned it up well, was very precise about what he planned to do based on what I was left with. I've found my hair stylist!!! I originally contacted another stylist (Bonnie) who's schedule was booked far out so I chose another stylist and her name is Stephanie F. I'm so happy to have met her and was able to get an earlier appt. She literally made my hair dreams come true. After having a bad experience with a hairdresser in Nevada City, I decided to branch out to other cities that I frequent. Stephanie took my hair from a faded out bleach with lots of brown chunks to a gorgeous silvery-charcoal grey pixie. I mean just LOOK at this change! As a bonus, I got to hang out with super cute dogs that happened to randomly be there today... Sir Francis and Clyde! Plus, the whole space was very tastefully and stylishly decorated. I Loved Stephanie's space with its massive gold leaf mirror and very hip modern and colorful bench. This place (and especially Stephanie) is the one place that I and you you've been looking for. read more

This is an adorable salon. I really enjoyed the view out the window of the rose garden while getting my hair done. It was my first time here. I got my cut and color with Holly. She was very experienced, and a good listener. She listened to all of the details of what I wanted and then explained to me how it would work. She asked me some questions, and we adjusted the plan. She had great advice, and taught me how to style my hair. I am so happy with my hair, it's so healthy and voluminous now! She helped me feel beautiful and a little more confident. Such a cute salon and nice staff. My stylist, Jesse Faye, provided great cuts and a nice color job until my 7th month. I found a picture of a hair style and highlights that I wanted her to try. The cut was nice and the highlights (balayage) seemed perfect. She also colored my roots and they looked good too (initially). When I washed and styled my hair the next day, the darker color came out of my roots and they were lighter than the rest of my hair and a different shade of red than any other color on my head. The highlighted hair was so dry that it would not straighten or curl. It was a dry, orange-yellow color as well. I was beyond upset because I had a very important work event in a few days and I needed to feel confident and ready! When I contacted Jesse, she said she was afraid the look was too edgy for me and she would fix it for free if I came in when she had an opening in a few days. I had no time to spare and her comment about it being too edgy excused the bad color and highlight job and put the blame on me. My trust in her abilities was shattered and even though I like the salon and I loved her hair cuts and colors previously, I can't go back. Maybe it was my fault for bringing in a picture, for trusting her abilities, whatever. But it was still a bad color job and it still ruined my hair. BTW, I paid $160 plus a $20 tip. So, just beware of what you ask for and make sure you are specific if you do want something different. I wish I'd just stuck to cuts and not allowed any coloring at all. read more

There is a new Stylist in Town named Stephanie, and she is AWESOME !!! Not is she only from the same town as me Los Angeles, she worked in Beverly Hill's, and we both have eaten at Nate & Al's, only the BEST restraunt in Beverly Hill's . However being excited with so much in common, she cut my hair not only perfectly the way I wanted it, but it turns out that she is a master at Blow Out's, because that is all she did in Beverly Hill's, however my Hair was transformed from thick, fine, curly, and frizzy into shiny soft amazing curls all with her Boral Brush, no flat Iron involved at all, and the difference was remarkable. Too bad I couldn't go out to Rock that Hair style, because I had to go to work, I didn't expect to look so good !!!! Well it is the end of my day, the best hair day of my life !!!!! read more

I needed a haircut this summer when it was so hot I wanted to get my mane off my neck & shoulders. I also wanted to go grey after years of dying my hair red. So at first I worked with Jesse Faye who specializes in hair dyes. She was new to the area & therefore had an opening for me. She did an incredible job working highlights into my hair & dying it so that my new grey hair came in super naturally. Everyone I came in contact with was amazed at my hair color & thought it looked fantastic & natural. Next, I got my hair cut by Joyce Rask who specializes in short haircuts & I am extremely grateful she had an opening. She worked me in almost immediately. Everywhere I go people ask who cut my hair & enviously indicate that they wish their hairstylist would listen to them & cut their hair as good as mine. They have commented to me that they have tried & failed to get their hairdresser to give them as good of a cut as I have. I travel between the bay area & auburn & get compliments in both areas. Those I visit in the Bay Area are the most envious because Joyce is too far for them to travel but are seriously considering it anyway. read more

This is a review for the services i didnt recieve, but soley the interaction or lack of. Im a maid of honer and helping my bestie (the bride) plan the makeup and hair for her wedding. I called several weeks ago, a little more than a month befor her big day. They said they will get back to me to let me know if they could do her wedding day. I called amd left several messages once a week and more passed. Never got a returned call. They dont answer during buisness hours? How is that professional? Once they finally answered they put me on hold and forgot about me (15min on hold) and i called back and no answer. Called the next day left another message. Even called to get her hair done to check out the salon befor the wedding, no answer. We all know how precious time is in a wedding and we lost weeks trying to deal with them. So disappointed in thier lack of service and simply responding to me. They lost the service of the bride and the whole bridemaids clan and brides mom. So ten people total. Such a shame. read more

The person I had made an appointment with through yelp had gone home sick, but Courtney stepped in and gave me a fantastic haircut while her other client was "processing". I can't say enough about Vintage Rose. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, caring and professional. You can feel the genuine caring from the team. Cari has done my facials for a number of years. I was new to the experience, but she was recommended by a friend. She is very informative about each process and explains exactly what she is doing and why. My skin always feels and looks amazing when I leave. I am in my 50's so her care of my skin is very important to me. She also does "sugaring" a wonderful alternative to waxing. It doesn't hurt as much and it takes less time. Love it! Definitely an art to doing the process and she has it. Crystal has cut and highlighted my hair...she does a fantastic job. She listens to what you are looking to do and offers suggestions. I can't say enough about this salon. I don't hear gossiping from the staff and everyone cares about the clients that come in.
