The money side of a home purchase is probably the most complicated and scariest part of the entire process and they make it easy. Staying on top of each step, explaining what is happening and when it is due, and being so proactive that we knew what to prepare long before it was due are some of the thing I appreciate most. One of the best examples of their dedication to customer service is the phone call I got when my rate dropped 0.15%. It didn't equate to a substantial change in payment and isn't something I would expect to recieve a phone call. It was however, an excellent example of them looking out for my best interest - personal attention. I never thought I'd have such strong feelings about a mortgage lender, but here I am and about to pour my heart out about it. First time home buyer here, and in this crazy market, you really do need someone who's level headed and going to give you easy-to-understand advice. You also need a lot of emotional support, just being real here. The beginning was rough for my husband and I as we started off feeling iffy about our realtor situation. I reached out to Jennifer and let her know the situation, and she didn't tell me what to do, but gave me just the words I needed to figure things out. And that's what she did whenever I had a concern I wasn't able to get addressed elsewhere, and she really gave reasonable, sound advice. Jennifer and Katie were available for us whenever we needed, and were just a call or email away even on nights and weekends. Additionally, Jennifer and her team really got us up and ready for putting offers in. In other words, they made us look like really strong candidates. For the home that we ended up getting, Jennifer reached out to the listing agent to let them know just what good candidates we were. I really do believe this made a difference. I've used Jennifer and her team for 2 different mortgages. One for my first home in Denver, CO in 2017, and again in 2022 when my wife and I moved to Austin, TX and bought a home. My first home buying experience was as easy as it could get. Jennifer, Katie, and the rest of the team were phenomenal to work with. I had a 3 and a half week closing that I needed to make work, and they got on it immediately. They were timely with their responses, and ultimately got me to closing earlier than expected! They even were able to lock in my rate right before rates started climbing (and wouldn't come back down to my rate until 2020). They made me feel like I was their only client, and we were finalized and ready to close days early. In the months leading up to buying my second home in Austin, Jennifer would take my calls answering questions I had about funding options etc. I wasn't actively her client, but she treated me with the same level of service and responsiveness as if I was.
