My husband, Matt, and I moved to Platt Park in May 2019 and fell in love with the neighborhood. We love the walkability, the "neighborhood feel," and the close proximity to parks, restaurants, and bars. I used Porchlight to represent me while purchasing in Boulder, CO. I originally picked Porchlight Real Estate Group through personal reference for somebody I trust and that has also purchased in Boulder, CO recently. Todd Gogulski represented me through this purchase. My experience lasted approximately four months from my first consultation to close. In that time, I looked at approximately fifteen properties and put an offer on two. I lost the first to a cash buyer through no fault of our own and almost lost my second due to pending libation, but ultimately closed. Probably even better than me! I'm detail oriented and I know what I want so I'm usually better than anybody at this. This is probably the biggest surprise in working with Todd. In fact, the place I ultimately closed on was a property he said I should look while I was on my way to the airport for work. It was a quick 15 minute viewing, but was extremely important to give the place a chance since it might have been off the market in a few days before I got back. I'm glad I did. He always pointed out things on viewings that I may or may not want. Things that I don't even think about, but items he knew would have an impact on my decision. A few examples would be the parking situation, the HOA history of a place, storage, layout and floorplan, permitting on unfinished basements among other things. Knowledgeable of the Boulder market: Anybody that is purchasing in Boulder, CO or the surrounding areas better have representation that knows the geography, laws, sales trends, neighborhoods, rumors, etc. about this area and work very fast. Todd has been in this area a while and even though I've lived here for almost 15 years before I purchased he was more familiar with the real estate landscape than I. I've learned a lot from him. I really can't say enough wonderful things about my experience buying a house with Kelly at Porchlight Real Estate Group. I will start by saying this is the third move for my wife and I in the last 10 years. Most recently we were relocated to Denver for my job. Everything was unfamiliar territory for us including the schools, the neighborhoods, the parks and places to shop. The coolest part about PorchLight is that by just interacting with my realtor, Charlie Marshall, I would love to meet more people at the company. Charlie just by himself was an awesome realtor; however getting able to know him over these last few months has showed us just how professional, communicative, reliable, and personable PorchLight is as a company - because if he did not work for such a great company he would have had a harder time helping us no matter how good he was outside of the company. Aside from Charlie we were contacted through email by several other members of the company and each time they were very nice and very open to any questions or help of any kind. Even when we were moving they sent us a little "care package" with a red sharpie, some packing tape, a small razor blade, and some nice labels for our moving boxes.
