We went to buy furniture sales person and manager was agree to give us one price then when we finalize they changed. The price . The delivery date they let us wait 7 hours send the furniture damage and wrong size mattress. When we tried to call manager Mike said he with customer doesn't have time for me . I paid so much money gave us wrong damage and don't want to give us credit back . Thier delivery guy was not trained. Worse . They just rubbed us I have to leave my job to go there . BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went into the store two weeks ago. I was in the area and wanted to see what they had available that I could purchase at a Jennifer closer to home. I saw a sofa I was interested in and the salesman said it wasn't available in any other Jennifer store. I wasn't going to purchase it as I did not want to pay for shipping to upstate NY. The salesman said that they had a truck going weekly to my city and that he would put the sofa on that truck at no additional charge. Being concerned, I asked if the sofa would get dirty and also if they would bring it to my apartment as I live in a third story walk up. He assured me the $1500 sofa would be wrapped up and that the delivery persons would bring it to me. He assured me he would take care of everything. After a week, neither I or my friend shopping with me heard back. I contacted the salesman directly and he completely changed his tune. He tried to get me to call a delivery company and said they would give me a fair price after I explicitly told him I did not want to purchase for that reason. I told him I wanted my money back and he said he could not give refunds. When I asked for the store owners information he said he did not know that information. And he stopped responding. On Sunday I had to drive three hours back to Coram. Thankfully my friend remembered the manager and salesman's name. Initially the manager spoke to us but blew us off. I don't believe that he believed what we were saying. He said they would have never said that. So he sent the salesman who spoke to us. The salesman came and tried to say that we misunderstood as if we're stupid and senile in our 40's. I repeated the conversation we had verbatim and he finally admitted the truth. We went to the manager and had him listen to the conversation and again had him admit that he misled us. The manager yelled at him and apologized but didn't do the right thing and meet my demand of a refund. The manager said that he couldn't do anything but would reach out to the home office and get back to us. I asked the salesman where that was, and he told us the Farmingdale location. I got in touch with Farmingdale only to find out that they have nothing to do with the Coram location. They did not know why they sent us to them. And it's 6:00PM and I have not heard back from them. As I'm reading the reviews now, I see that I'm not the only person who's had an unfavorable experience. I used Jennifer Convertibles in the past, but this store is not under them. Do your do diligence. I normally do but had a lapse in judgement and unfortunately am paying the price. No money and no sofa. Horrible!!! 12 Days later they will not provide information for the owner or refund my money causing needless stress and illness during a pandemic. read more

I bought a beautiful off white slipcover couch. The Manager Kareem was very helpful. I purchased the couch in the outlet store. I was told that I would receive a phone call as to the time of delivery. I never received a call. I had to call the store to find out when they were delivering. I spoke to a salesman to help me.. he was very nice. I was told the men would be arriving at 2:30. There was a bit of a problem with the delivery truck and I got the delivery around 7:30. The delivery men were very nice. My main concern is that I was not called to give me a window of time to be at the house. I hope Jennifer Furniture will let customers know when the furniture will be delivered. I feel that my time is worth money as well as anyone! I had asked for some type of reimbursement and was refused. I feel that it is important for a company to compensate in some way for the incorrect way they handle a situation... mine being no phone call for delivery, and had to cancel two appointments. Bought a condo and needed to furnish every room. Went to Jennifer and purchased a complete bedroom set, sectional couch, etc. They were advertising 3-day delivery on in stock items. When i went to the show room, i asked the salesman to ONLY SHOW ME IN STOCK ITEMS. well i made my purchase on 12/3. It's now 12/21. Still no furniture. Called several times. they cannot give me a date or even an estimate of when i can expect my furniture. the best i got was "maybe mid-january". This store is a horror! beware of buying anything in this store. when you purchase they are all nice and promise you everything is gonna be great, then when your stuff comes it is not what you ordered. You ask hem to help you about your order and the manger is nasty, and everyone just as much. They laugh at you, and tell you that it is not their fault and etc... I purchased a sofa and chair set in February. The chair was defective and they could not deliver a perfect chair. It is now August and they decided to refund the chair after arguing for all these months. I asked for the sofa to be returned also because of a defect. They refused saying it was alright. I then told it would be a mismatched set and I wanted both returned. They refused my request so I am returning the chair and going to small claims court. My advise is not to use this company customer service is terrible. read more

So I ordered a sofa, loveseat and coffee table and end table at the Coram NY location back on January 21 2018. I was told 3 to 4 weeks well its now ending the 7th week and still no furniture. I've called the store numerous times and get the same thing no delivery date yet. So the other day I go to the store and that was no better. The sales person looks up order and to my surprise no delivery date yet and he cant figure out why not. I was told that he will email the purchase department and ask them what is the hold up, why not call them and find out I'm standing here. The response was all I can do is email them. Then told come back tomorrow to speak to the manager. After reading many reviews and others in the same issue as me I can see its a trend with this company and they don't do anything for you to resolve the issues in hand. The customer service is horrible and there clueless. I would not recommend this company nor this store to anyone. Terrible service! Incredibly incompetent employees who are rude and never follow through with what they tell you! I ordered furniture for my new home on 4/5/18. We got the couch delivered no problem, we set a delivery date the day we paid the order in full. We were told we would have our dining set "shortly after". Well, here we are two months later and no dining set and now information on when it will be able to be delivered. We were told four different dates for when it should be in stock and when we can expect a phone call to set up delivery, and every time that date came around we go no phone call. We ended up having to call the store ourselves just for them to tell us it's not in and then give us no further information. Just to "wait another week or two" and then we'd call again, be told to expect it in another few days...and we start the same cycle over and over again. When we go to the store we are brushed off he the management and basically told whatever it is we want to hear that gets us out the door so the other unsuspecting potential customers don't hear us. We can't even get a courtesy call from anyone at the store letting us know that the dining set isn't in, we have to follow up with them and that's such terrible customer service. But don't worry, they charge you THIRTY PRRCENT of your purchase price if you want to cancel. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS DISGUSTING!!!! read more
