If you suffer with addiction, do not go to this clinic. Cash only for addiction treatment. He is happy to take your money and then leave you hanging out to dry when you need him. It would be in Dr. Zend's best interest to look at his office practices and staff. There is a good chance he's not getting all the information from his staff or any at all. Corolla seems to run the show, not the doctor. On March 16, 2018, she was hospitalized for exacerbated asthma, Influenza B, and hospital-acquired pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 10 days. She was in severe pain and contacted Dr. Zend's office. She spoke with Corolla. My wife explained to Corolla what was going on and was falsely accused by Corolla of relapsing?? I called their office since my wife was extremely sick in the hospital and did not need this added stress. Corolla told me the same thing but had no facts to back up her accusation, only that my wife had no showed an appointment recently (which she rescheduled and saw Dr. Zend). Corolla was rude, unprofessional, and should not work in any medical setting given her lack of compassion. Medical office staff should not accuse patients of anything unless there is proof or concern in the medical file. My wife needed to talk to Dr. Zend about pain management in the hospital and after care to return to her treatment protocol (she could not breathe, she had the flu, pleurisy in her lungs, and staphylococcus pneumonia from being in the hospital). Needless to say, when she called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Zend on March 26th, after being discharged from the hospital, Corolla told her she had been discharged as a patient. No reason was given. She had never been subject to discipline, failed any tests, and had only missed an appointment because we had a sick child. Several messages were left with Corolla and the receptionist for Dr. Zend to call but no calls were returned by Dr. Zend. Save your money, save your time, and find a better doctor. We will be filing a complaint with the WA Department of Health. His practices should be reviewed. I state this because in my conversation with Corolla on March 20, 2018, she stated to me that Dr. Zend "has to think about his medical license" and cannot worry about situations like this?? Worry about what situation, my wife had the flu and pneumonia and here you are making false accusations. It all comes down to making a buck in your cash based medical practice, instead of listening to your patient and treating a patient who gets the flu during flu season.

Since that doctor I've had a long string of managed care zombies. Every single one has made a snap judgment based on the first symptom or two they heard and hustled me along. I had one doc say "You need to lose some weight" based on my BMI, not bothering to note that I was at the time a bodybuilder with single digit body fat (his advice would be correct nowadays, but again I digress). Dr. Friedman, who I chose totally at random as the nearest doctor who took my insurance, has been an unexpected joy. He's very kind, listens to his patients, doesn't rush you at all and seriously knows his stuff. He has also worked in the area for a very long time and has extensive connections in the local medical community. I've gotten a couple of referrals from him and they both worked out wonderfully. To be fair his office is a little dated-feeling and could use a facelift, but that hasn't affected the quality of care I've received at all. I'd much rather have a great doctor with a 70's-feeling office than a mediocre doctor in a state of the art facility, which seems all too common these days.

Dr. Cantor is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. Up front he will tell you that he tends to run late, and after one visit with him, you will understand why. Dr. Cantor takes the time to really listen to and address your concerns. He doesn't talk down to you like some providers might, and he comes armed with a boatload of information about what ails you. I find him to be very thorough, with excellent follow-up. He and his staff are quick to respond to questions and concerns, and are very good about communication. If you are looking for a provider who's going to do a quick once over and send you on your way in under 15 minutes, this is not the guy for you. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a primary care provider who is caring and knowledgeable, and who will take time with you, I highly recommend Dr. Cantor.

The appointment was not long but covered what needed to be covered....an official diagnosis, a quick follow-up of the injury, my options (surgery or self-heal), and a prescription for pain medication. When I selected to have surgery it was quickly scheduled for the next day, I was given all the information I wanted about the surgery and what to expect, I was then directed to the hospital finalize the scheduling and provide my insurance info. Dr. Swenson did the surgery and thus far it is a success. My pain is down, my movement is up, and every day feels better. I am out of a sling in less than one week and I have plans on snowboarding less than a month after the surgery!

Huge hassle. I have worked in the medical field for over 5 years, so I truly understand that every office has their own way of doing things, but this is ridiculous. This is the hardest time I've had scheduling any type of appointment - EVER. At this point I feel like I should just go to the ER and request an MRI seeing they make it dang near impossible to schedule in an outpatient setting. Good doctors here, so don't let this scare you off. But do yourself a favor and bypass the imaging center downstairs and go to another outpatient imaging center with your order in hand. You'll save a lot of time and headache.
