In short The doctors have been great, as have the nurses and most of the PAs. One PA was frustrating, and scheduling isn't always smooth, though the gals at the front desk are super nice every time we can reach them. In long Last spring, my lovely bride had a massive stroke, and has seen the orthopedist, pain management doc, and spine specialist here. The pain management doc moved to another office this year, and we'll see her again shortly. One quick outpatient procedure last year was a waste of time because the PA just hurried through it. The orthopedist had been called out for an emergency surgery. We repeated that proc a couple months later with the actual MD and it was super effective. Lots of reviews mention how tough it is to schedule here, and sometimes the phones do leave you wondering if you'll ever get through to a human. Once you do, though, they follow through and stuff gets done, at least in our experience. The facility is nice enough for sure. Decent amount of parking, clean and bright. It's surprising to find a medical facility that does not have automatic doors for wheelchair users, but then again, this is not the only one. Those doors are evidently way more expensive than we might think. Overall we're happy with the care here and will continue to be seen. read more

Absolute nightmare, trying to get an appointment and office staff not following through with returning phone calls and follow up. Only reason I'm trying to get into this practice is Dr. Thiel formally with Everett clinic has been my orthopedic surgeon for the past 15 years and would like to stay with him. However, the office staff who I've been talking to for a couple months do a horrible job with follow-through. They tell me they're gonna call me back every single week and dont! So very frustrating. Was referred here and in years of non stop drs and appointments have never dealt with a more unprofessional receptionist on the phone and in person. (Don't know if it was the same person). Multiple signs in the reception area threatening that "disruptive behavior won't be tolerated" has me wondering if people have reacted appropriately to the rude behavior and been demonized. The nurse was rude as well. The dr was a bit better but not enough to go back. Should have checked Yelp before coming here. Yikes. read more

Just got off the phone with the awesome Customer Service woman, Jessica (?) and was able to schedule my colonoscopy without an additional $45 consult - Yay!!! Also this wonderful human was so personable and helpful - even called me back 15 minutes later to confirm there was no history of polyps in my chart. She scheduled me for May 3 and accommodated my daughter's schedule (the only one I have to take me and spend the time until I can be discharged). read more

Not happy with medical care provided. I called every day for 10 days in a row asking for prescription refills, never got call back. I also called pharmacy every day asking to fax request to the doctor. Finally they sent prescription to the pharmacy but it was wrong medication. I called 3 times and left a message with receptionist, never received call back or refill. Probably at this point many patients will give up and stop taking medication read more

I arrived at 9:45 am for a 10 am appointment to see Ali Anissipour, DO. I was not seen until 11:30. I sat there for nearly two hours waiting while other patients were walking up and getting seen within 10 minutes. Furthermore, when I was finally taken back I waited for about 20 minutes. In the end, Ali Anissipour, DO did not even see me. He had two trainees come in and talk to me. They neglected all of my concerns and did not offer to answer any questions. So after waiting over two hours they rushed in and out and now I'm left with unanswered questions and concerns. I'm pretty upset because I Specifically waited several weeks to see Ali Anissipour, DO. to only be let down by everyone at this facility. read more

After care at this practice is TERRIBLE. PA I was appointed with spent 2 minutes with me. Gave me a belittling and uncaring speech and scheduled me with my surgeon, whom I've only seen once about 10 minutes before my surgery. It was emergency surgery. Never met him before or after. WWMG - Sports Medicine, Spine Surgeons, Orthopedists - Where to start? Our experience with the office support staff has been a total _hit show and the Office Manager needs to be fired for her rudeness and incompetency. I booked an appointment early in August of this year for a knee specialist in the latter part of August. On the Sunday before my Monday appointment, I got an emergency call from their scheduling department saying that the doctor would not be available the next day and needed to reschedule. The appointment was rescheduled... later my husband tried to call the billing department several times with a few questions before the appointment and no one would answer the phone (just a message that the office was closed). When we went to my first appointment in September, we asked the receptionist what the problem was, and we were told that they had been having problems with a software upgrade to MyChart... this was a lie as we got a letter from them in November stating that they had been hacked and that the hackers had gotten all the patients confidential information. At my first appointment I was referred to physical therapy for two months and I scheduled a 12/4 follow up appointment with Dr Brent Thiel for after the PT. A couple days later I asked my husband to drop off some medical forms with WWMG required by my employer to be filled out by the Dr Thiel. My husband did so, paid the $25 fee and was told they would be ready in a week. He called back eight days later, and no one knew where the forms were... everyone was confused, and they said they would call us back. Another week went by and no one called. My husband called again... again confusion on their part and he asked to talk to their Office Manager. The Manager told my husband not to call again... they would call him when the forms were ready and hung up on him. Meanwhile my employer closed my HR accommodation case for my knee due to lack of medical information. Yesterday was my follow-up appointment with Dr Thiel... the appointment was at 10:10 AM and we were just about to leave the house to go to the appointment when we got another emergency call from WWMG saying that the Doctor was stuck in Spokane and that they needed to reschedule the appointment. I said I needed to check my schedule and would call them back. Later in the day I called to set a time for the new appointment to find that they had made another mistake that morning... that the earlier day's appointment had been made with Dr. Quam (not my doctor... Dr. Thiel) and that Dr. Thiel was there that day (what a screwed-up mess). Then when my husband asked to talk to the appointment scheduler, where she then hung up on him. He called back from a different phone number and finally got a new scheduler to answer... she then told him that the office manager had put a note on my account not to talk to him. Now both Dr. Thiel and Dr. Tyler Kent have been good doctors to work with... but we have canceled all future appointments due to lies and incompetency of their administrative staff. Please fire your office manager and then assure us that things have been corrected... then we might come back. read more

The office managers do not care about complaints! When you write in you do not get a call or any type of resolution. They can't keep doctors there because they are not a great place. Due to them not being able to keep multiple providers long term, there are long wait times for appointments. Most providers don't listen to the patients actual concerns they either proscribe a pill or refer them out somewhere else. When a patient is referred and seen they may receive a phone call canceling a procedure that the patient waited months to get scheduled less than 24 hours before the procedure. All because they didn't check the correct place of service when checking for prior authorization!! I waited 4 months just to be seen then waited an additional 2 months to be scheduled for endoscopy and colonoscopy. And less than 24 hours before my procedure I get a call saying they will need to cancel because they don't have prior authorization. I asked why they waited given it was scheduled 60 days ago. They stated Regence said prior with was not needed. I explained cancellation is NOT an option and that I would be calling my insurance. She then told me that they did submit but due to a system glitch they cannot send the required records. Again this should have been caught and resolved weeks ago. I call Regence to be told they submitted the prior authorization for the wrong place of service! Regence said they received the correct one but need records. I call WWMG back and get 5 different voicemails 2 of which I was transferred to. I work in healthcare and understand being short staffed but having less than 24 hours and the bulk of my prep done this is ridiculous! I may need to switch to Skagit regional even those horror stories aren't as bad as the continual decline of WWMG!!!!! read more

My appointment was 2:30and I was told to be there at 2:00. At 2:45 saw patients after me got to call in the office but me. So I went to the front desk to ask why. They were not sure and told me that they will check into. At 2:53 Went in the checking room and wait..... .they will penalizing patients for 10minutes late. But have no problem for patients wait for long periods of time. Beyond The medical staff was rude. I saw nurse practioner k . Nelson. ( I didn't think she should raise her voice to me) . I am pretty sure they have nice doctors in that group. I was their patient for 20 years. But no longer after this visit. I wish you good luck if you see them. I am completely dissatisfied with the level of care by both the office staff, doctors and nurses after having major surgery this past May 2023. I chose this office when I needed a third knee replacement on my right knee, ( my previous surgeon from a different clinic passed away) because Dr Quam and office did a great job 2020 repairing damage from an accident to my right arm. Unfortunately, that level of care disappeared when I had my recent surgery. It started going bad in the hospital when my surgeon told the hospital nurses not to give the medicine my neurologist has me on for sleep. I did not sleep a wink that evening. I was told Dr Quam did not prescribe my nightly meds. I was told my insurance would pay for a second night. I opted to not spend the second night I, because I needed my sleep. After the surgery my husband waited for a cellphone call from the surgeon which he never received. The morning after the surgery Dr Quam's assistant came to the hospital. I asked how the surgery went and what all the doctor had done. The assistant said he didn't know because he was not involved with the surgery. I went home on the Wednesday before Labor Day. By Saturday we realized the doctors office did not prescribe enough pain medication to get me through the long weekend to Tuesday morning leaving me without pain meds for two and half days. I called their office first thing Tuesday morning. I was told I had to give them 24-48 hr notice to refill the prescription. I was then left with over another 24 hours without medication. I tried to talk with the doctor, the assistant, and or nurse but no one would talk to me. My husband drove to the clinic, yet they refused to help. When I had my follow-up visit there was no apology. The doctors response was simply someone dropped the ball. After that, each time I needed a refill I had to call in the day after we picked up the prescription. Each time I was met with an attitude from the nurses making me feel like I was being accused of being a druggy looking for dope. Keep in mind this was the third replacement on this knee. After my second follow up visit I was told to make a third appointment. When I made the appointment I was not given an appointment card. I never received a reminder email, text or phone call. They always sent this reminders, but none was sent. I finally called to see when my appointment was, and was told I missed it. Now I am being billed $75 for the missed appointment. As far as the lack of appointment reminders for the office, I was told they were courtesy calls not mandatory. The level of care with the doctors and his staff along with the front desk has gone down drastically. I will never again use their services. Good luck making an appointment. Their "hold" music is designed to make you hang up - torturous, goes on forever. They don't answer email requests for appointment. The patient portal website is either broken or out of date? - can only make appointments for "family medicine" in Lake Serene - so if you want orthopedics in Everett you're out of luck. I can't believe these people are running a medical business. But mom's doctors sent us here, so this is where we have to follow up. Their refusal to be responsive to patients should disqualify them from holding a license. read more

Dr. Neral would patiently listen to me read my questions, episodes, & issues from my iPhone prior to any exam. He is truly one of the best surgeons I've encountered. He will get a 5-Star rating. Surgery Center staff is wonderful. His office on the other hand is lacking: 45 minute + (if at all answered) hold-times trying to speak to staff. NEVER got through! Making this concern to them in person was always: 'we are short of staff'..... isn't that why the Voicemail box was invented? Just got home from my appointment. Didnt even get to see Dr Yee. I had a 2:20pm appointment. I arrived at 2:00 to fill out all the paperwork. Wasn't called back until 2:45 and ended up walking out at 3:15 after waiting to see the Dr this whole time. My back pain was so bad I tried sitting, laying down, standing and walking. I couldn't wait any longer so I left. I've NEVER experienced anything like that before. I've never walked out on a Dr appointment but I was in so much pain. I've gone to the location in Edmonds and both so far, have been very thorough with my care. Appointments were all set-up beforehand, written on cards as well as verbal discussions regarding appointments. I was asked to come here for my PFTs test (pulmonary function test) because their machinery in Edmonds needed some services to be fully functional. I thought I was going to wait until this was fixed but there was no telling how soon. So, I agreed to do this here just so I will know sooner how and when they can determine the next approach to better treat my symptoms--my chronic coughing. The front desk has always been pleasant via phone as well as in person. I like it so far and am a fan of their attentiveness. This location is not hard to find especially when i have help from Google. My appointment was directly with the technician who does this test and she (Amanda) is very nice and also very patient as i ask quite a bit of questions and do pause here and there. She was very clear to assist me with every step of the way and in the most effective way. Thus, I do recommend Dr. McCoy and his team. read more

Dr.Kent and his PA Lyndsay are great! Top notch bedside manner and great communication about treatment options and predicted outcomes. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Surgery scheduler however could use some additional training in customer service. When someone is considering surgery and wanting to be informed of charges/cpt codes prior, the patient shouldn't feel like a bother asking for assistance with trying to figure that out. Lastly, the online chart system for WWMG is horrible. Seems incomplete and communication/responses via online messaging is super slow. read more

The Western Washington Medical Group is unorganized and very unhelpful. I called to let them know I was needing help for my arm and shoulder and that I was interested in looking at plasma injections. First I called the main number on their website and was forwarded to a urology department. Then I had to call the number they gave me for the orthopedic department. Then the receptionist Heidi was very evasive and wouldn't even setup an appointment without my insurance information. I let her know I fully anticipate paying cash but she had to take my name and number and said she would get back to me, as if it's difficult to get an appointment if you want to pay cash. She finally got back to me 24 hours later and left a VM stating that just to see a doctor for a consultation, it would cost $500. I looked up average consultation fees online and the range for a consultation is $100-$450, so they are on the VERY high end of the consultation charges. At first I couldn't believe it and thought that maybe i misunderstood my VM but sure enough they want to charge a cash patient $500 just to see if they can even help. On top of that they were so unorganized throughout the process, so it's not like this is the best Orthopedic service available, nope probably one of the worst based on their lack of organization. Nevertheless they want to charge a premium for their service above and beyond what other clinics charge. Knowing full well I am paying cash, they wouldn't have to bill insurance and they would spend less time on my paperwork than a new patient who is using their insurance. Typically when I offer to pay cash to health clinics, I get a discount of about 10-30% but not with this joke of a health clinic! Rather than discount my fee's as a cash buyer (saving them time and money with less paperwork) or just charge the average going rates like a normal clinic, they want to gouge me because I am cash buyer. What a freaking joke. I would never recommend this clinic and will make sure to warn anyone I know looking for a decent clinic not to go here. read more

I appreciate Dr. Nerals help from beginning to end! He performed surgery on broken ankle and wrist, and has since, given excellent medical and physical care! Because of him and his positive encouragement, I am doing very well! I'm so grateful for all his kindness, patience, and wonderful attitude.. I couldn't have gotten through it all without his help. The doctor might be competent ...but the employees are rude and full of excuses why surgery hadn't been scheduled and other problems with their communication with the hospital. Do not go here, that's the best advice I could give anyone in pain. He treated me like trash. My visit started over 20 mins late. The first thing he said when he walked in the room was a whisper over His right shoulder to a student following him, "thank God she's wearing a ring" because I had my 2 year old with me and I look young. If I hadn't been in so much pain I would have walked out. Then he sent me for X-rays within minutes. Came back and he scanned my X-ray and literally said "I don't know what's going on". I said how do I find out. He referred me to a MRI which needs a pre-auth and can take weeks. Meanwhile my right pointer finger is stuck in a hook position, won't move and is excruciating. I told him it had been that way for weeks, but I was hoping it would get better, the pain drove me into his office instead of my usual hand doctor in Bellevue. I asked him if he could give me a brace or something, he said "no, I don't know what's wrong", I said can you give me something stronger then Ibuprofen in the meantime? He reacted like I was a pill popping drug addict. I offered to have him call my other doctors I have never been prescribed pain pills except after having my kids and he refused to give me anything to help. I asked him if I should ice or heat to help he replied he couldn't tell me. After all that he wrote in his request for my MRI to the insurance company that my symptoms were within 2 weeks, after I told him it had almost been 6 since the pain started. The insurance company denied my MRI for the symptoms not being present for more then 2 weeks. When I called his office to ask them to resend with the correct information so I could get my MRI they said I would have to make another appointment, pay for another visit and have him rewrite it. Seriously? If he has listened and cared more about my ailment then judging if I had a ring on with a two year old maybe he would have done his job. After all this I spent over a year arguing with the billing department that I would pay for the X-rays, but not the visit because I didn't receive services and he insulted me. I have it all recorded and noted with when they said they would call me back, only one person ever called back. I surprised the head of the orthopedic billing office and showed up for a face to face to explain everything so they understood and they just kept saying they'd call me back. Every answer I got was "the doctor says he gave services and you can access his notes, free of charge". So he said she said and they don't care what she says. After the face to face I was hopeful and was told they would call me back, two months later no call and I receive a letter from collections with a letter from the he's of billing once again stating they asked the doctor and he said he did treat me so too bad. Another interesting factor is they billed for a 45 minute visit when I was seen less then 15. I filed a complaint with the insurance company. I'm going to be filing a complaint with the medical bar and the Washington State Health Department. The funny thing is when you go to their website it states "treating you like family", furthest from the truth. I work in insurance, have worked in the ER, hospital and doctors offices, this is the worst group I've ever encountered. read more

Ended up having the awful infection for over 6 months until I did my own research on it and asked the doctor for a specific test to be done. I basically treated myself. And don't get me started on the billing office. Absolutely awful service. Left me in tears. I'm always nice and respectful no matter what. And this lady on the phone was being so rude for absolutely no reason. All I did was call in to see why my insurance didn't cover a certain appointment. The lady on the phone just hung up out of nowhere. It seems like she was either having a bad day or hates her job but I didn't do anything to deserve that. After reading all these reviews, I know I am not the only one who is getting terrible service from this office. I called and was put on an automated recorded message for 20 minutes on Friday afternoon. They close at 5 pm, so probably decided not to bother answering. I know nothing about Dr. Leavitt, who I wanted to do my hip surgery, but so far the "front desk" makes me worried about the quality of this entire operation? They "misplaced" two of the 3 FAXes sent to them by my previous doctor. I have no idea who is in charge. Not very good reviews, maybe I better keep shopping for another surgeon. They can even do a number of procedures next door at the Gateway Surgery Center. Highly recommend Drs Leavitt, Quam and Madsen. Seriously had just the worst experience with this clinic. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, we have been trying to get paperwork filled out for FMLA for work and they can't seem to get there act together. We have called multiple times and keep being told different things about the state of this paperwork, even told the doctor would fill it out later today. Only to be told an hour later the doctor isn't even working today, the staff has lied on multiple occasions. If they can't be honest about some paperwork how am I supposed to trust them with surgery. Find any other place to go but here, this has been the worst experience and I will never come back again. I've already told my primary care doctor to stop referring patients to them, turns out I'm not her first patient to complain. If I'm supposed to trust these people with my life the least they can do is be honest and up front, I understand paperwork gets lost or misplaced but every time I call I get a different answer. This is the most insensitive medical practice I have ever experienced. My dad was scheduled to have surgery, no one told him he needed to be cleared by his cardiologist and they cancelled the surgery. He got in the next day to see him and we called them to try to get him back in. No one returned my 3 phones call. Horribly unprofessional! Western Washington medical group has major issues in this billing, first of all they charge co-pays and their receptionists won't ask you for the co-pay on your visit they will allow this to happen to three times and then you get a big bill. Another problem is they will not tell you what your bills going to be when you see the doctor that day, their billing system is very slick and not honest. When I was done complete with all my doctor visits I received a $500 bill in the mail, I was forced to go on a payment plan. If you have to use Western Washington medical group, be sure to pay your co-pay and check with the receptionist before you leave about your billing. If you have other choices with your insurance company choose a different company. read more

Last summer I dislocated my shoulder and turned out that I did a pretty good job of doing so. I went and saw Dr. Levitt and his team where I ended up having my surgery performed. During my initial visit Dr. Levitt explained the procedure and showed me where the incision will be. I was very sad to see it was over my one and only tattoo which had significant meaning to me. And I've only had it for a couple of years so not very long, but unfortunately this was the circumstance. After the surgery and I'm at home recovering 5 days later (much to my surprise) I see that he was able to salvage my one and only tattoo by relocating the incision. Wow I couldn't believe it but I was so happy. And now that I've made a full recovery with no complications, I just wanna give a big shout out and a big thank you to Dr. Levitt and his team. I had some of the best experiences with Dr Ashbach. I came to him as a referral with pounding headaches which were from long time of sinus issues. He was honest and gave me direction and I am now on my wy to recovery. I have referred many to his practice snd am so grateful He is a must to see. read more

Started off ok but we had to cancel an appt the day of due to a family emergency and when I called to cancel, I asked if I was going to get charged for the visit? The receptionist said no. Low and behold, I received a bill. I called the billing office to see if there could be an exception made due to the emergency and that I was told I was not going to be charged. I was told it would be submitted for review and I'd be contacted with a decision and not to worry about the bills until then. It was just standard procedure they had to send them out anyway. Fast forward 3 months and no one has ever contacted me about the decision and I just received a Final Notice to pay or get sent to collections. When I called the billing department they told me a decision had been made in NOVEMBER! Yet no one called or sent a letter to inform me of the decision. Absolutely the worst communication ever! In February of 2016 I fell and crushed my spinal cord at C3 4 and 5. I went to see five different neurosurgeons who all told me the surgery was too risky that they were unwilling to do it. Both my hands had gone numb and I was falling down because of severe imbalance due to my spinal cord injury. I was referred to Dr. Ali Anissipour about six months ago and after examining me and all of my CT and MRI scans he said these words, "you deserve to walk, I do these types of surgeries all the time, I did two yesterday" He really took all the anxiety away. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and not only is the feeling back in my hands, I'm not falling over anymore! I told him that he and his team are my heroes and how deeply I appreciated them giving me my life back! I have already referred Dr. Anissipour to close friends for surgery! read more

1) Their doctor things in my medical record that were false. Things like "patient stated narcotics were infective" when I didn't talk about narcotics at all. He's since been let go. 2) Either their records department or my receiving physician messed up enough times that it took three months and a half dozen phone calls to get my records forwarded. 3) If you want a personal copy of your medical records they charge $1 a page for copies, 4) They responded to my request for a copy of my medical records by telling me my form was incomplete, and then charged me a dollar for rejecting my request.
