My mom has surgery scheduled for Monday, she was supposed to get a call informing her of when to arrive by Friday at 4pm, she called me at 630 Friday evening panicking because nobody called. I tried my best to reach someone who could help but the best I could get was to call Monday morning- that is no help if her surgery is in the morning!! She is going to change her provider to uw. They don't care about their patients. This is the worst clinic and care I've ever had in my entire life. It's clear that all their care about is $$$. Their billing department is awful. The Everett Clinic was amazing and a trusted provider for decades only to be replaced with Optum, the worst healthcare provider in the US. while their doctors might be decent their customer service staff and scheduling department are awful. They schedule my husband's colonoscopy and two days before called to let us know that our insurance hadn't approved it yet. Turns out they hadn't sent the paperwork to the insurance. My husband had already stated the protocol and then had to do it a second time a few weeks later when we were able to get the insurance stuff all worked out. Tried to schedule a follow up, they set it and then a few days before said we had to reschedule. rescheduled and then they didn't send the virtual link to his phone like they said they would so he was late to the chat. They called and told him it was all his fault. understandable he got upset. A few days later the manger Hailee called him claiming to see how his experience is going with them. (All these calls to him are after numerous requests that all scheduling and questions come to me as my husband works 12 hr shifts driving dump trucks and needs his full focus on the road.) understandably his experience has not been well and he told her so. my husband being in the trucking world uses a lot of colorful language when upset. They are know refusing to see him even though there office is the one who keeps causing the issues. Highly recommend finding a different office to go to as this clinic has no customer service skills or common sense. read more

I have been disappointed with how I was billed for the service. The billing was mentioned as comprehensive in-office eye care but this was a 15 min virtual visit. I did request initially for an in-person visit but the office told me the doctor only does virtual visit for the first visit. I did reach out to convey my concerns but this was not resolved. $400 for a 15 min virtual appointment is not something anyone should pay for. read more

Has gone downhill quickly over the past few years. Doctors and staff seem to go through the motions sending in for tests without concern of getting any results. Good luck trying to get work with their billing department. Took over 3 months to get a refund on a deposit. Thankfully I am not yet a senior and was able to to persue. Their motto is Delay service, Deny insurance claims, and Defend poor quality healthcare. The Optum Founder clinic does a poor job of delivering care. Unprofessional communications. Their information technology system - virtual video calls - is erratic. In my experience, for whatever reason, the Primary Care Physician I had failed to meet community standards of care. Optum RUINED what used to be a wonderful clinic. The doctors are good, but the administrative staff are over worked and not responsive to questions when calling. Several of my doctors left after Optum took over and it's been a revolving door ever since. It takes months to get an appointment. Everett Clinic used to be a wonderful employee owned company. Now it is a corporate bureaucratic nightmare. read more

The Everett Clinic (now Optum) has become truly terrible with the transition to Optum. I have experienced crazy wait times, lots of billing issues, and problems that go unresolved despite multiple requests to fix misinformation. I love my kids pediatrician, which is why I havent switched yet, but honestly its not worth it anymore. The most recent experience is that I cant view billing information for my four year old. I was told that I "havent been granted access due to privacy laws" despite being able to see all of his notes and private information and being responsible for payment. And despite filling out paperwork in the clinic (signing as his parent a form to authorize myself as person to view account *insert facepalm*) this issue still hasnt been resolved. Optum is a JOKE! Virtually EVERY contact I have with them, whether trying to call, schecule an appointment (2-3 months out), do a "virtual visit", send a message via my chart, etc., there's a screw up. Example: today I had a virtual visit scheduled and checked in 15 minutes before my appointment. 20 minutes later, a "technician" (who sounded about 15) got on the line and asked a bunch of questions. She said the Dr. would be joining the call in 5-10 minutes. ONE HOUR LATER, and nobody has joined the call, nor has anyone called me. I called the Dr. office and waited 15 minutes to get a real person on the line only to be transferred, then told to hold which they checked with the Dr. office. After another 10 minutes on hold, I finally hung up. Nearly 30 minutes later and nobody has called me back. It's constant screw ups, and has become soooo frustrating, that I have decided to move on. I love my PC and am established with specialists there, but it's not worth it. Don't even get me started on the billing mess! I hear Prov isn't much better. Since Optum took over, customer service is nonexistent! Big change since I worked for The Everett Clinic. I can't even get a supervisor call back anymore on issues that need to be escalated from billing and customer service. They just don't think you matter. When I worked for them, customer satisfaction was a number one goal. NOT any more!! Once my November claim finally gets out of coding review and is settled. I will be leaving Optumcare Washington!! Very sad! No wonder so many employees, physicians, and patients have left or are leaving. read more

Ever since The Everett Clinic was taken over by Optum, it's been a steady and disappointing decline in care. Amazing Dr's and caregivers have left. Insurance coverage is now questionable? Trying to find new GP's is an absolute PITA because either no one is taking new patients or the wait time is inexcusably long. Absolutely ridiculous when it comes to patients care!!! read more

I have read the reviews concerning Optum and thank goodness I did. I am cancelling my heart procedure tomorrow morning. I have been on the fence concerning this; however after reading the past reviews it has confirmed my feeling in reference to the "new" Optum. it is a corporation and NOTHING else. Just for the money I would say. I still love our doctors but, I can't help but feel they are being pushed in the wrong directions to make money for the so called owners. For this, again no heart procedure or any other invasive procedures for that matter. So sad it has come to this as I really liked the personnel and now that the corporate end has taken over fully, there is no way in hell I am going to continue going to their clinics. read more

Think twice before you go see anyone at Everett clinic/Optum. I was with them for 40 year and the last 15 years they have tried to kill me 3 different time. They took 3 months to diagnose me with cancer because radiology missed the cancer on my scan. Then I lost 20lbs in 2 months and was told I was on a diet. Turns out I needed my gallbladder removed and had to wait a year before they decided to remove it and the surgeon was a total ass. I've been a patient of The Everett Clinic, now Optum, since 2006. In the last 18 years, I have had both great and not so great experiences. But in the last year, I have had two heart ablation procedures and I can't speak highly enough of my primary care physician, my cardiologist and their support team members. I also have a great urologist at the clinic. I'm extremely happy with my current health care team. read more
