And then, the icing on the cake was our server - a charismatic and uber-friendly gent named Bromwell who lights up the room with his personality. He made my list of the five greatest servers I interacted with this year. The restaurant's location is as unusual as its menu. You'll find it occupying the front space at the Suffield Commons Senior Living Apartments! Yup, as you walk through the restaurant and out their back door, you actually enter a common space for the housing complex. The restaurant itself has two dining rooms with booths, tables, and chairs and a bar with dining room chairs. That eclectic menu is chock full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices with Mexican and barbecue flairs. We were there for lunch and ordered two things. The first was an enormous Cheese Quesadilla ($9.35) with pork ($3.12) on a grilled flour tortilla served with sour cream and pico. It was a thing of beauty, cut into five thick wedges loaded with smoked pork. Our second item was a Caesar Salad (Half size for $6.23) with a side of smoked brisket ($9.36). I passed on the croutons and Caesar dressing in lieu of barbecue sauce as my dressing. I gotta tell you, the brisket was GREAT, a big serving of tender and juicy smoked beef cut into four slabs that must have totaled close to a half pound. We loved everything about Fire On the Mountain and agreed that we need to return for a proper breakfast when we are out that way or making a morning airport run. Now usually, I wouldn't consider a dollar per wing as a discount, I would expect perhaps fifty cents. These wings really shine when you eat-in. The wings are meaty and are perfectly cooked with a juicy interior. They do lose some of their juiciness if you take them home with you, so I highly recommend eating them at the restaurant. Thankfully service is quick and they will be on your table in no time. Another thing to try are all of their sauces, they may sound odd, but you can have them on a single wing if you just want to sample it for a future order. So far I like them all, though Dusted keeps me coming back. There is a bar and six tables indoors that can each take 4 people. I haven't yet sat outside, but that is also an option.

ATMOSPHERE: The shop is small, requiring customers to make a loop around the perimeter of the shop before returning to the check out counter with packages of meats at hand.
