I hope the doctor can see this and be aware of the front desk issue, which has been mentioned repeatedly in other posts. It is so hard to get a prescription. It is associated with unnecessary services and exams which are not covered by insurance. The front desk really treated the customer in a very mean way. Totally do not understand what is wrong with their services. Just a signature on the prescription can torture you so many times. From making the appointment to get my prescription, two months has been passed. Still waiting for a signed signature! Doctor Busby, if you see this, ask your front desk what happened and get a better front desk who can honor or at least respect your customers please！

I have contacts that I need to try and the doctor gave me options to try other brands since the first one is very uncomfortable. I got three missed calls from the office with no messages and I have to call them back to ask why they are calling. She mentioned that it's regarding the contact lenses that the doctor gave me to try, but when I called them how come they are not leaving messages, she did not give me an answer and also mentioned that I should just wait for both contact classes to come. No problem, I can wait. Finally got a message that my contact lenses trials are ready to pick up.Now I came back to pick it up the receptionist/front person told me that I can only pick up one at a time and that is what the doctor wrote on the prescription. I think they need to retrain and communicate better because not everyone has free time to just go back-and-forth. I do travel for work and the miscommunication is not helpful. When I asked why I was told to wait for both of them, the person in the front just told me she doesn't know. This is really unfortunate and disappointing.

I was a new patient so I had to fill out some forms. Within 10 minutes, I was called in. I thought, wow, that was quick. Came to find out, I was called to have my eyes measured by the medical assistant. After that was done, I went sent back to the lobby to wait to be seen by the doctor. 9:30 came around, still waiting in the lobby. Finally around 9:50, I got called in. I was happy as it was finally my turn to see my doctor. I waited in the exam room, waiting and waiting. At 10:20, the doctor finally came in. 1 hr 20 mins passed my appointment time. No apologies or anything of that sort. I understand that some patients might need longer time with the doctors but if that is a known case, I would think it is best if they don't schedule that many patients for the hr/day. Maybe only schedule 1 patient per hour. Patients should not have to wait 1+ hours to be seen by any doctors especially if it is appointment based. Patients times are valuable as well. Because of this long wait, I was late to my next appointment. Luckily they were still able to squeeze me in. Most times, they will require to have it reschedule. On the plus side, receptionist, medical assistant and Dr Fowler were all nice. If they can improve on their wait time, I'm sure their ratings will be higher.

It was two surgeries in one on the left eye and later surgery on the right eye. It is really amazing the surgical skills Dr.Sierra has and on top of it she is a nicest and sweetest person you will ever meet. My mom loves her dearly and if you're ever so lucky to have her as your doctor, you are in good hands.

Sacramento eye consultants staff was nice. The building was very clean and professional. The wait time to be seen did get lengthy. Dr. Sierra always answered all my questions and took time to explain everything to me, which made it a lot more comfortable and worth the wait time. My doctor's office referred me to this office, and when I called to schedule an appointment, it…read moretook several attempts and multiple messages before I received a response. When I was finally able to schedule, I was told that I could not be seen until October because my concerns were not considered urgent, despite having an urgent referral. I understand that many medical offices have their own triage systems to determine which patients need to be seen sooner. However, being told by the staff that my concerns were not urgent felt insensitive, especially as I have been struggling with these issues since May. The office also does not maintain a cancellation list, which made it even more difficult to be seen sooner. I ultimately had my referral rerouted to Sacramento Eye Consultants and was able to get an appointment the same week. I think a cancellation list or another option to be seen sooner would be helpful. Patients shouldn't feel like their only options are to wait months to be seen or seek care elsewhere or through an emergency room. Providing more flexibility and support during the scheduling process would create a much more compassionate and patient-centered experience.

Very poor customer service. I'm 77. Worn glasses since 6…read moreand this is never happened to me. I also managed an optometric corporation for 20 years. Was a new patient, had new glasses made, could not leave them on for more than 45 minutes. I returned they corrected the prescription through an additional exam and remade the Glasses. I still could not see out of them. No problem with my eyes because I can still see fine out of my old glasses they just aren't quite strong enough. They needed a little more strength. After the second time and two round trips for a very long drive to get to them, I returned the lenses and asked for a refund. VSP my insurance company has reinstated my eye exam, and also the benefits for me to remake the lenses. But I had $230 in overages and the office is unwilling to refund those to me even though I have returned the lenses to them. I asked the office manager to please talk with the doctor. She said she would but never called me back. Now when I tried to call it says that the phone number I'm dialing is not receiving any calls from me so I guess they have a way to block me from Calling. I'm going back to my old doctor in San Jose, which is a very, very long way from my home to have a new eye exam. I was planning to ask them if I could bring that new prescription into their office and have their lab make up the lenses again, so I wouldn't be out my overages but now I'm unable to reach them.
