The pressure was strong and I needed that. My body was so tense. For the time they spent for massages, their price was very good.

They were running behind, but the lady was very apologetic. She did not rush and completed the time. The massage was wonderful! She really took the time to work on my back because it was very tight. More so, she would asked if the pressure was too much. The music in the room was very calm and relaxing as well as lighting. It set the tone very well. The best part was the heated bed. My husband and I really enjoyed our first massage here and purchased a package for an additional 6 massages. The package for the 6 massages was 300 dollars and we paid 380. On the receipt, it was documented that tip was included. We tipped on the whole tab and I believe that 80 dollars tip was sufficient for 6 massages. During the first massage, prior to purchasing the 6 additional massages, we gave 20% tip. I believe that we are pretty standard with tipping. Things got strange after our second massage. After our massage, we explained that we had tipped for the whole package during the first visit. They then went ahead and called my husband after we had left the building to come back and demanded that he tip. He went back inside and explained that we tipped for everything unknowingly during the first visit and the owner was very rude acting like we were trying to skip out on a bill but told us that they understood. During our third visit, they began yelling at us as soon as we walked into the building, shoving the receipt in our faces, yelling "You didn't tip for the last time!" Going on to show us some numbers that we did not understand. They then went on to take a pen and cross out the writing on the original receipt that said "tip included." The whole thing was bizarre. We went through with our third massages thinking that we would leave a good tip afterwards because of all the confusion and bizarreness. It really felt like they were just demanding more money. After the massage, my husband gave them 40 dollars for our tip. The owner again began yelling and demanding more tip for today and for the last visit. The whole thing was surprising, unprofessional, and bizarre. My husband was yelled at multiple times by the workers here who demanded more tip. We did not even want to have our last 2 massages there from our package and demanded our money back for that. I just can't believe that we went through this. We had never been stingy with tipping and we did not deserve this kind of treatment whatsoever. Once we left the building, my husband caught them yelling and ripping up our file. Super unprofessional. My husband and I are respectful and courteous customers. After being yelled at multiple times at the spa, that was when my husband decided to demand for a refund for the last 2 massages. His patience was wearing thin at that point, understandably. This was supposed to be a relaxing birthday massage for me but the constant harassment made for such a bad experience. I was surprised by how clean this newly opened space is. I like the owner's taste on the selection of the bedding and decoration. I have really bad neck problem. BEST massage ever. I called to see if they take same day appts before I purchased a Groupon. She told me yup and that she'd honor the Groupon price directly in the store which was really nice. I got a massage for my daughter as a gift and it was the worst experience! There was lack of communication and the massage was awful! Clearly the person did not know what they were doing! They made her feel very uncomfortable since they left the room a few times and left the door open while she was laying on the table. The cream they used smelled horrible and of course they made sure to tell her she had to tip them on her way out! The person did not deserve a tip at all for her absolutely horrible service. I received a coupon from Groupons for a massage at this place, and when I called to make an appointment she told me she would not accept the coupon because I came last year and used a coupon. I told her there was no disclaimer on the coupon and she told me there was a disclaimer but upon further checking I confirmed there was none. She then told me she was running a business and couldn't give me the discount. The appointment was then cancelled. She called me today and told me I had an appointment at 11:00am (this was the cancelled appointment) when I explained to her the appointment was cancelled for the reasons I mentioned, she hung up on me. I was not rude nor belittling and I spoke to her very calmly. She was very nasty and I will not go back here again, very bad business. read more

This is the rudest and most unprofessional service I've ever encountered at a spa. First I called two different times to confirm my appointment time, then right as I'm about to leave my house for the appointment they called me and tried to change my timing to come in hours later. Then at the end of the appointment when it came time to tip they started demanding more money for a tip because "they wear masks and it's harder to breathe while massaging you". When I said "the tip is up to the customer" the lady yelled at me "GO and don't ever come back here!" I then told her I'm going to leave them a bad review for treating me this way (yelling at me to leave), and she said she didn't care. So so rude and unprofessional. Jenny and her staff are Amazing!!! I have been coming for massages since they opened twice a month because her package deals are reasonable and the quality of the massage is above and beyond. I suffer from vertigo and have seen much improve since my massage work. Today I had an amazing oxygen facial which left my skin refreshed and hydrated. I purchased a great facial package today as well. This place is a hidden gem and I urge you to do something wonderful for yourself and check them out, you won't be sorry!!! After Shop Rite grocery shopping, I was too tired and wanted to have a relaxing spa day. I saw the Jenny Day spa sign in the parking lot! As soon as I stepped in I was very surprised! It's a grand opening spa. Everything is new and spot clean! People were very nice, polite and professional. The massagist was licensed and very professional. She knows what she's doing. I always had back problem from work, and the massagist really helped me to relax the mussels. Anyway it was a amazing and pleasant experience. I had taken a mental health day to do some self-care activities and came across this spa on Groupon. When I called, I asked to make an appointment and also discussed the prices listed on Groupon. The person I spoke to made an appointment for me for same day and said they would honor the Groupon price in store and advised me not to purchase the package on Groupon. The package was for a 60 minute deep tissue massage as well as a 30 minute facial. After confirming my appointment, I mentioned these details once again to the lady and the price and she said it was fine. When I arrived, I was taken in right away. I was pleased with the massage and facial, but they were not the best I ever had. Everything was fine until the checkout process came. That's when things turned. So just to make sure , I took a screenshot of the Groupon sale because it did have a time limit on it and they did say they would honor it. When I get to the checkout desk my masseuse starts writing all these numbers on a piece of paper. I respectfully told her that I am not interested in purchasing a package at this time. She also kept insisting on what was the original price of the package I had gotten, and to keep in mind that this was only for a first time customer, which I was. I then gave my card to pay and she asked me if I was going to leave the tip cash or on the card . Respectfully I said, please add the tip on my card. She then proceeded to ask me how much. The amount I told her was not to her liking, and she laughed in my face. She then continued to raise her voice and say you are not leaving the minimum tip. You just got a deal and a 90 minute massage. The laughing really made me uncomfortable and I thought it was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I then proceeded to explain that I followed the standard tipping percentage and what I was leaving was 18% of what my total cost was, and that I have nothing to do with the original prices of the service when again, I was being honored the Groupon price, and that that was something they had to deal with with Groupon. My masseuse continued to yell at me and said she would get her manager. When her manager came, she was also demanding more tip and pointing out that I just got a Groupon deal and that my tip should be more money. With all the commotion, I really did not want to leave her a tip, but she proceeded to charge me anyway with the tip amount that I suggested. She then threw my receipt on the counter, and told me to get out. I stated to them that they have no right to demand tip amounts from customers and customers should be able to give what they can and what they want. I also stated I would leave a bad review. I'm sorry but because of this checkout process being so revolting, I will not be returning or recommending this place, and based on other reviews, it seems like this is a recurring problem for them. Told me to go into a separate room while she cleans the room I will be in, yes at 2:50pm. She took me into massage room at 3:02 and didnot come into room until 3:13. I watched the clock. Hands were good , did backside but never finished my front and left room 4 times, once for the music, 2nd again for music, third to get hot pad which took 4 minutes, and 4th to answer a phone call, ended my massage at 4:02 that's 60 minutes??! Just not relaxing. I asked her in beginning to focus on everything. At end when I asked her about my front she said we do ten minutes which wasint 10 it was 5 minutes of tugging and she looked at me like she didn't understand what I said. read more
