This is not your typical pedicure foot massage, it is so much better. We found it via groupon and I've been here 3 times already Each time was just as great as the last. It's not a full body massage, but they do work on the lower half of your legs, your feet, and briefly your arms and shoulders towards the end. You sit in a comfy reclining chair with a warm blanket over you and heated pads over your eyes and around your neck. It is a community room so you do end up sitting with strangers but every time I went it was with my mom and brother and only once we had to sit with a stranger. It honestly didn't bother me at all. My favorite reflexologist is Shadeed. His pressure is consistent and has great communication throughout the session. If you're like me and like a deep masage, he is excellent for that. At the end of your session they serve you tea and a butterfly cookie which I think is a really nice touch. The place is clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The only caviat is getting appointments can be tricky so be sure to book in advance to get the time slot and day that you want. I am very rarely go on Yelp to write a review however I was so disappointed today I felt I had the need to put this out there. I have been attempting to make an appointment for approximately one week now I've left three messages and finally I got a call back today only to find out that my gift card that was given to me by my niece and nephew who currently attend college and work very hard for their money is no longer valid. I spoke to the owner and she informed me that the gift card had expired and will now have no value whatsoever. The Gift Card does not have an expiration date on it so how would a person know it has an expiration date if it does not list it. I spoke to the owner and she refused to give any value to the purchased gift card. I could understand an owner not honoring a sale price or Groupon price but a purchased a gift card for the full face value of the gift card should be honored at all times and if it's going to expire it should be listed on the card. This is bad business practice and I will no longer go to this establishment. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I would recommend anyone purchasing gift cards in the future to please tell the person you are giving it to that it expires and to use it quickly. The front room staff wasn't very inviting since you sit down and it's not clear if they have tea for drinking or if the snacks on the counters and tables are for guests or them since they were snacking and no mention in if was complimentary. The massage room was communal with multiple chairs and chair massage tables so anyone who coughs or talks you hear. My massage was very light and at one point I was unsure why she was only applying intermittent pressure to toes and nothing else and I opened my eyes to see she was texting - soooo without having to really justify 2 stars much more - I won't be back. read more

I started with a 50 minute reflexology package to try it for the first time and I was sold. I also needed a massage so booked a queen for a day package later. Definitely well worth it! The massage room is like another world compared to the crazy streets of Jersey. Robert was my reflexologist and masseuse on both occasions and he did an awesome job! A nice, affordable day spa specializing in reflexology. My only comment is inconsistency. I have had different therapists & some are definitely better than others. On one visit I went with a friend & we both had a 55 minute appointment. My therapist finished about 20 minutes before the other so I double checked that my session was for 55 minutes- it was, but it only lasted about 35 minutes- I just got short changed! It's also difficult at times making appointments by telephone. I make them in person now. Very reasonable in price & great specials are offered. David is my #1 choice as therapist. I had the best experience at lotus ! I bought a groupon for a 50 minute foot massage and it was absolutely amazing. My tech was Robert and he was great from when I walked in . He sat me down in like a mud scrubb that got very thick which left your feet so smooth he then worked on my feet arms and even neck . It was really relaxing the only thing is that it smells to much like "relaxation" idk if that makes sense but it does to me . Maybe hold off on a little less essentials. Your also in a room with someone else so it's not just you getting a massage. With the groupon they do charge you tax at the end so be aware of that . I see other reviews about them not answering the phone I never had that issue when I called but I can tell you that when the 2 techs were working the phone rang and rang so maybe they should hire a receptionist. read more

Went there today thru a Groupon offer, my sister treated me. This was my first foot reflexology experience and it was so relaxing. The ambience is so Zen with aromatherapy. The room is very different not lit and as you are shown to your recliner they hang your purse behind you and if you wear glasses just hand them over. First a good foot soak for a few minutes with salts. Then your senses of perception are turned off. A nice warm neck cushion is placed around your neck and a wonderfully warm and scented eye mask is applied. A blanket is placed up to your neck for even more relaxation. Myself who runs on the very warm side was very comfortable with that. Next it was pure heaven-if I could only let myself go it would be 100% better! Ok so you get your leg up to the knees massaged and then the feet. After the foot reflexology they cover your tootsies and move to your hands and forearms. If that wasn't enough, you sit up for a great mini back massage! Happy ending in a clean way folks! I had Twanny and my sis had Jose and both were great! The owner Camilla is a very down to earth and a nice lady. She made us some herbal teas afterward . Next will be the Goddess package! Just go for it!!! read more

Then they put the blanket on, put the gel in the water, put the eye mask on . Robert worked on me, he is great at what he does . I have had reflexology before and he is one of the best. Highly recommend it here On a side note I found it very convenient that they listed tip amounts on a small blackboard. This definitely comes in handy especially when using a deal and your expected to tip on the full price. My second time there the massage was horrible, I honestly couldn't wait till it was over. I was so unhappy that I emailed them afterwards letting them know about my experience. But....once the session got going, I totally zoned out, and literally dozed off 3 times. I can't say enough about how amazing I felt afterwards, and I am not a raver about too much. My experience here was amazing!! I had Robert and he was so good. I've never fallen asleep during a massage but I deff did this time. The experience was so relaxing. The room has like 4 or 5 chairs so it's not a private experience but luckily I had the whole room to myself. So you're sitting on this big comfy leather couch, and Robert gives you this big comfy warm blanket. You start off with a foot bath and they add crystal mud to it which makes the water get thick and mushy. Feels amazing between your toes to mush it. Then it gets really really thick where it's not water at all anymore. After a few min he reclines the couch for you. (If the little perks stopped there I would've been completely happy wrapped up like a burrito) and then he gives you a heated neck pillow ugh so good! And also a heated eye mask. I mean how can you not fall asleep like this?! The foot massage itself was incredible. He used just the right amount of pressure, put me to sleep within 10min. I had a groupon but wasn't aware you had to pay taxes. I wasn't able to put it on a card so I had to scrape up $3 which I never carry cash. That was the only downside to it read more

Located in Verona,with great street parking this location promises to be the next hot spot. i had booked an appointment for me and my guest 2 weeks in advance,super excited for my foot reflexology spa session, my appointment was moved by them an evening before to a better hour(sick therapist ) ,but when the owner had called me she was unaware that i had a guest and that appointment was left at that previous time.my mistake as well that i didnt tell her about it I show up with my guest and i was just UPSET about the whole situation since i wanted to spend a nice spa session with my guest but now we had only 1 available therapist BUT the owner took charge right away ,her demeanor was courteous all the way. She couldnt have handled me a very very fussy and upset customer any better, gave us complimentary 30 min sessions which we took back to back. The therapist,the aura,the service and omg the complimentary back rub as well.everything was up to the mark and with a surprise tea with a pastry ,the whole place makes u feel like a princess.I went in disgrunted and upset and came out smiling to finish off with amazing tea. I found a Groupon for this spa and was looking forward to the experience because I have been to a similar place and it was amazing. The Groupon was for a 50 minute service. It was not the worst experience I have had, however, nor was it exceptional either. The service seemed rushed, and comparable to a massage you would get with a spa pedicure. When checking out I was told there was tax that needed to be paid and they only except cash. I then was directed to a bank nearby, of which I had to walk across Bloomfield Avenue during rush hour on an extremely hot day. I came back and took care of the tip and the gratuity, during which I was asked if I wanted to join their membership. Ummm, no thanks! A relaxing experience turned into a rushed service and a chore. I made my appointment and they were beyond accommodating, My groupon expired the day before my appointment but they still let me use it to pay for services rendered. I had Ashley on my first visit, she was a little bit too light with her pressure not bad I just prefer it a little bit more pressure. They had a deal going to I bought a few more packages figured hey it's 50 minutes to myself which I never get LOL On my next visit Robert took care of me and he was really good, great pressure and friendly. I went back last night for the 3rd time and had Shadeed he was Amazing!! The pressure was perfect he is so calming I was literally asleep within 5 minutes.
