He said to me without me disclosing ANY of that, "we fix this (and pointed at his heart,) THEN we fix this and pointed at his head." Fair to say MIND BLOWN. I was used to acupuncture by a Chinese trained but American woman doctor in FL, and when she put the needle in she would "tap tap tap" it in. It sometimes hurt or stung, but the relief was what I needed, and it was all that I knew. When Dr. Zhou began treatment I didn't feel ANYTHING and I asked if he was doing anything and he laughed. I told him what I had experienced prior, and he said what he does is Chinese acupuncture. You shouldn't be feeling the needle at all. Well I definitely did not. While I was there, he asked if I'd had a flu shot, I said no, so he said he would give me "Chinese flu shot." I have to tell you, that Christmas, my husband, and both kids got the flu, as did mom, but I did not. Say what you want but Chinese medicine and acupuncture have been around far longer than Western Medicine, and I use both. Dr. Zhou treats you so that he doesn't have to see you regularly. He treats you to heal your issues. And he is reasonably priced and amazing at what he does. Could NOT recommend highly enough. I'm just remiss I haven't reviewed him until now.

He is the first person ii see when I feel unwell, even before my PCP. I highly recommend Dr Brett, as his fees are very reasonable, and his knowledge of medicine and nutrition is encyclopedic. If you have a health condition, you can't get a handle on, and your PCP is stuck or uninterested in helping (which has happened to me, unfortunately), I highly recommend Dr Brett. He is very helpful with weight loss, and his acupuncture sessions are relaxing . Also, his fees are also very reasonable. The office environment is clean and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about Dr.Brett!

Brett Csordis is the practitioner here and he really cares and wants to help you feel better. I was having a lot of pain on and off due to a varicose vein while waiting to get approved for surgery. Going in every week for a while got the pain under control and when I had a flare up one visit would nip it and get it back under control. You really feel the energy moving while the needles are in and I always felt better after a treatment. So far so good! I've been going to Dr Joy for the last six month, and I gotta say she's in my Top3…read moreof all-time favorite acupuncturist. Why? Because she's literally and physically, "SPOT ON" with where she has the ability to find my pain. Here's my short issue: Lower back pains; Strains in my L and S area, but luckily no sciatic pain down my leg. I started having lower back pain about 5 years. I had done a cortisone shot the first year, but that only gave me relief for a year. Did another shot a second year, and no "instant" relief or any relief at all. I was puzzled and upset. Third year, started doing physical therapy, yet the pain would not go away. My doctor tells me, I'm gonna need to live with lower back pain and manage it (eye-roller). So, as a last resort, I thought I'd give acupuncture a try because I knew it had helped me in the past. Found Dr Joy online, and easily scheduled a screening session. With my first visit, she listened to me, found where my pain was located, and questioned me on how I got to this point. Its like she understood my pain spots, what points to hit, and how to relieve it. After the first session, my lower back had felt ten times better than before! And now, the lower back pain is nearly gone! With that, I made Dr Joy my regular acupuncturist. Her office is small, but has two rooms. Both of them have clean acupuncture tables set up. Regarding insurance claims or issues, she would let me know beforehand. My previous acupuncturist had issues with my insurance, which was why I stopped going to him. Her office is close to me, so I'm sticking with her! If you've got pain that won't go away, give acupuncture a try, and I highly recommend Dr Joy!
