The quality of the flowers but there was not a lot of attention paid to what the bride/groom wanted for their wedding. Also in looking back at photos the one bouquet they had to make was huge and looks ridiculous over a year later. Was very disappointed with Donna and Florist lady when I asked if I can purchase a single croton leaf from the plant. The Florist lady was inconsiderate and treated me as if I didn't know anything about flowers or designing. She said that the one leaf from the plant will destroy the plant. Really? The leaves don't fall from trees or plants? I have never had this type issue asking for a plant leaf from any other grocery stores. read more

We travelled from Australia to have our elopement at the La Quinta Resort and Spa. Our officiant recommended Mary Cass at Jensen's for our floral needs. I ordered a beautiful funeral spray with bright spring colors to represent my feelings for my friend who passed away. Instead, what Jensen's Florist delivered to the church was this absolutely ugly flat frame of dark purple flowers with a wrinkled cheesy excuse of a ribbon where the flowers were supposed to be in the main part of the spray. It was so deplorable. I understand that availability of certain flowers may call for substitutions, but it should not be a complete redesign. I told the store manager that they should have substituted a yellow carnation for a yellow rose, for example. But they should never redesign the arrangement. The floral manager insulted me by offering me half off the cost of the arrangements, but not the delivery fee. It was the only time I'd ever have to express my heartfelt feelings to the family. And I dread what they thought when they saw this 'Adams Family' style arrangement. It was a terrible, heartbreaking experience. read more

My mom and her friends were in Palm Springs for the weekend for her birthday, so my dad and I decided to surprise her by getting flowers delivered to her rental home. The website to order flowers is very easy to use and I definitely loved the convenience. That said, the pictures displayed on the website are definitely more grand than what you pay for. Yes, I understand that they make the bouquets look top notch for the photos, but my problem was that the bouquet had significantly less flowers than the picture. My dad paid extra to get the Deluxe bouquet instead of the regular bouquet, and there was nothing deluxe about what my mom received. The quality of the flowers was good, but there weren't enough. Just beware that even though the website is convenient and the prices are decent, you don't get what you pay for. read more

Mary Cass is beyond amazing and kind and creative. We used her as our florist for our Palm Springs wedding in May. Our budget for flowers was very tame and from the very get-go Mary made me feel so comfortable and completely worked within my budget. Originally I thought I wanted a rustic romantic look and she came to our wedding venue with a mock up. When I realized "rustic romantic" didn't exactly work with the decor of Spencers, she immediately changed the centerpieces and offered solutions that fit with our color scheme and style. She sent us pictures of the mock ups for our approval and when I got to the venue on the day of the wedding I was BLOWN AWAY. It was far more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. It was so well done (all within our budget) that I definitely shed tears when I saw the arrangements (it was an emotional day ;)). ALSO, she went ABOVE and BEYOND: She brought all our bouquets and boutonnieres to the hotel we were staying and was so reassuring through the entire process. I felt like we were family. I cannot recommend her enough. Communication wise make sure you call her or text her. Email isn't the best way to get an immediate response but texting and calling is great! read more
