I had to go through the ringer to get insurance information for the company so I can take my truck elsewhere to be repaired from the shotty work they did. They did injectors on my 2002 Duramax. After issues came up from specifically his installation of brand new injectors, he said "After doing my research, I think this is what's wrong" several times. After I took it to Gillette Diesel to get it diagnosed, he said, "They would know more than I do." He also did other work on the vehicle: motor mount (another company had to do over), wheel bearings(twice), e-brake that still doesn't work after he installed a brand new one. After weeks of trying to get him to take care of things, I asked for the insurance information again, because he was originally going to claim it. He would not return calls or messages until I said I had no choice but to subpoena him for the insurance information to move forward. He said, "See you in court. Don't send one message, review or nothing. I will press charges. Your blocked from all contact at this point." I will update my review after his insurance hears all of our voice recordings with him stating it was completely his fault and he would take care of it.

Still not questioning things, I just expressed exasperation because they had just been replaced 14 months earlier. Suddenly, I could tell he felt uncomfortable and he started really over explaining and telling me he'd show me how "stripped they were." It was this reaction that just tipped me off that something was wrong. I ended up taking the car into two other places just to ask for second opinions on all the recommended work. They were laughing at how ridiculous the proposed work was from Kapp's. One place showed me how it would have been impossible for him to have assessed the need for new motor mounts without removing some covers that isn't a quick thing. Sad. Total dishonesty.
