I tried Jeremiah's for the first time today. I first had Italian Ice of this variety back in 2013, when I tried Rita's out in Arlington, VA. Annnd, in the interest of full disclosure, I had Italian Ice... REAL Italian Ice in Italy and in Germany (Eis). Both, Italian-Italian Ice and German Eis are actually firm and maintain their spherical shape when scooped. Also, both are more syrupy as they melt than the Jeremiah's (and Rita's) varieties. The main differences between Jeremiah's and Rita's is that Rita's is custard and Jeremiah's is "ice cream;" more akin to Dairy Queen's Soft Serve®. Flavor-wise, I could not tell the difference! The "Ice," on the other hand, at Jeremiah's was markedly colder than Rita's and, therefore more of a firm frozen soft ice, rather than an icy slushy treat. With all of that said, I thoroughly enjoyed Jeremiah's!!! What I was most impressed with, is that Jeremiah's has a lot of variety and availability of their Ice assortment. The Rita's I visited in VA normally offered five or six different Ice flavors on any given day, and not really any consistency with the same flavors from day to day. So, if one identified a particular favorite flavor, it was hit or miss trying to catch Rita's on the day the favorite was being offered. To say the least it was frustrating. And, for those who may have tried the Rita's in Allen, TX, before it closed, I'm sure we feel the same sentiment that lack of flavor options was the proverbial nail in the coffin and the likely reason it did not survive scrutiny and customer dissatisfaction. One last noteworthy thing about Jeremiah's, they actually feature a rewards app, which I cannot wait to start using to accumulate freebies or discounts! Also, I like the idea that Jeremiah's apparently takes its name from, THE "Jeremiah," who was a bullfrog... was a good friend of mine... and whose, words said I never understood... and, who always shared his wine with me! LOL!! The inside of Jeremiah's was very clean and the bathrooms were also clean and well stocked! Bottom Line: Jeremiah's is here to stay, I'm sure! But, in order for good businesses to survive, people must visit them, and visiting Jeremiah's SHOULD be on your To Do list! If you don't, your loss. We came for a treat after eating Wing Stop next door. If you choose to start earning points, upload the app in advance and every 50 points you get a free treat. My family had the small Italian ice. You can choose up to 3 flavors. We ended up getting only two. Flavors we tried: Blue Razz and Watermelon, Blue Razz & Sour Green Apple, Coconut and Scoop Froggy Frog aka Mint Chocolate Chip and then a Chocolate and Strawberry. The chocolate flavor had bits of chocolate in it. It was a tad rich for me but I still liked it for a first try. Small size is $3.29. I think it was a fair price for Italian ice and then being offered 3 flavors. They have other creative flavorites to choose from too. read more

I am so glad we decided to visit this place. They weren't busy at all so we really got to take our time choosing our dessert. It was very casual and welcoming. The staff were amazing... so helpful and extremely nice. They let us try any flavors we wanted as well as gave us good recommendations. I did like their seasonal menu options. Makes it fun for the upcoming fall activities! They even had an advertisement going if you come on Halloween in the afternoon or later you will get a free treat. I would say the dessert presentation was very unique and the mixture of the textures and flavors were great. None of the flavors were over powering and element complimented each other. Honestly, my addiction! My son and I honestly go here at least once a week or order it on DoorDash with our food. Their flavors are delicious, they're so kind, their service is really good and quick, and their store is always clean with a lot of engagements with their regulars. They decorate most holidays. We had a really great experience coming to this location. It was very clean however was a little bit busy even for a week night. The staff were really friendly as we had no idea to order and was so patient with us. We ended up getting two different flavors and both were delicious! We noticed that the price different between all three sizes was not too great and trust me, two people can probably share one cup if you're not too much into sweets. Love that this place is by my house! We went in on a whim after work one day. At first when we walked in, we noticed the place is clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. I ordered the mango (no add-ons) Italian ice and my husband got the Oreo mud pie (a mix of Oreos, Italian ice, and soft serve). We both thoroughly enjoyed what we got.. I probably would dress mine up a little more with an add-on next time, but the mango was really a good flavor and refreshing. My husband's was perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. If you want a great ice cream treat, Jerimiah's is really fun. You can combine delicious Italian ice with creamy soft serve ice cream and a variety of toppings. It was very good but the customer service was terrible. There were two girls. One with bold eyebrows and one that was black. They were extremely rude and we heard them judging my F siblings and I. Teenagers making fun of a 9 year old. They were on their phones in the back while a girl with short hair did all of the work. She was incredibly sweet to us. I recommend talking to those 2 girls about how they speak because they were also cussing and we physically saw their judgements faces as we were ordering.
