BMF owner Joe Brawner understood the problem and the importance of fixing the leaks ASAP. The real problem was that, because the leaks hadn't caused any damage yet, the water was cut off at the meter, leaving us with no running water. Joe was called the afternoon of my move-in, and the next morning, Joe was there. He methodically identified the leaks and fixed them, then turned on the water to check for more leaks and fixed them. In about 7 hours, Joe had fixed multiple leaks, probably more than 7, and also tightened up and updated fixtures that needed a little work. We now have water to all three bathrooms, the utility room, and the kitchen, plus he installed our new dishwasher. Joe's assessment of the plumbing's current status was that a re-pipe of the supply side would be necessary due to 37-year-old CPVC lines that had become brittle with age. We were so pleased with the total bill for all the work that day (under $1K) that we are going to have Joe re-pipe our home this summer. From what I was told, Joe has done over 300 re-pipes in his long career. Lastly, we spent a lot of time just talking with Joe while he worked; he works very fast, and we found him to be a hard-working family man with a wonderful personality.
