    Well unfortunately I feel the need to share my experience in an attempt to save other customers from being taken advantage of. I purchased a new mattress from Jerome's in January of 2023. The sales representative was knowledgeable and friendly. However after purchasing the top of the line $5,000 mattress (not bedroom set ONLY the mattress. I began to recognize sagging and a lack of support. Not only was sleep a challenge but I began to have back pains. Due to travel and a busy work schedule, I am only home 2-3 days a week so it wasn't on the top of my list. Knowing I had a warranty I felt safe not to rush to file a claim. Once I did get a break in my schedule it became an issue and I brought it to the attention of the Customer service desk. They promptly scheduled an inspection of the mattress and had a field rep come out to take measurements with a string. Yes a string!! no weights, no pressure measurements but a string. The field rep identified sagging as well and shared his results with Jerome's. Jerome's indicated it was within factory specs and their is nothing they are willing to do. I offered to pay a pro rated rate and even purchase a second mattress but they offered no assistance. It has been 2 months since I went in and stressed my concern and requested a second rep to come out to validate the initial inspection. I am still waiting for a response but as of right now, I am left with an oversized pillow as a mattress, My bank account is down $5,000 and I now have bi-weekly chiropractor appointment until I am able to purchase a new mattress or Jerome's is willing to step up and stand behind their product. The item that they spoke so highly of on the sales floor.

    Couch when it was new

    Bought a couch from them last October- it's February and have been waiting for a since January. The motors in the couch stopped working in the "out" position not even 6 months old. The service department has texted from multiple numbers asking the same thing -to send pics. We have, they finally scheduled a delivery after 22 days from inquiring to replace the portion of the couch that is broken and the first delivery- they were so late that we had to go to sleep to make work on time- now right now is the rescheduled time and it's 2 hours past when they gave the window to be here. Over 3k for the couch and we are fed up! We will never buy from Jerome's again! We have dogs so we replace our couch every 3-4 years. Not even 6 months of use and motors are broken and getting it fixed has been hell! They lost a returning customer for sure! Do better

    Got to reply from Jerome's so, we emailed Customer service as they have asked us to do. Of course no reply back from them nobody has tried to contact us! They have horrible service, They mislead you on their warranties . There couches are so not the quality they are supposed to be. !

    I came in looking for a very specific style of couch in mind. I was greeted by Dee when I first arrived and she really took the time to listen to my needs and show me products that aligned with them. It took a few different trips for me to finally decide, but i did end up with exactly what I was hoping for. The final process for setting up delivery was very fast and Dee was great to communicate every step of the process. I'll definitely be returning in the future! Thanks, Dee!

    So far so good. We've had our new sectional only a week, but it's been five stars for Jerome's thus far. I've read the horrible reviews, and they are aplenty. Most are for post-purchase customer service/warranty issues. We purchased the extended warranty so I'm hoping we will not encounter any of those troubles in the future. We entered the Jerome's store in El Cajon and had our COVID-19 temperature checked (97.5 for me). Becky and I had browsed on line so we knew exactly what we were looking for. I flagged down salesman Tim and he took us directly to the two sectionals we were deciding between. Tim proved to be an excellent host. No pressure sales tactics. He simply showed us our sectionals then left us alone. We chose the one we wanted and flagged down Tim again to make our purchase. The purchasing process was seamless and easy. We financed some of it and that process was seamless as well. We scheduled a Saturday delivery and assembly right there with Tim. We were in and out of the store in less than an hour. I received a text on Friday reminding me of my upcoming delivery and asking me to confirm, which I did. I received another text on Saturday giving me an ETA of 30 minutes. About 30 minutes later the delivery truck pulled up with two masked men in it. We showed them where we wanted the sectional and they got to work. They unloaded the boxes, carefully removed our items and brought them into the house. Once inside they assembled everything, plugged it all in and tested for functionality. It all worked great. They went back out, broke down all of the empty boxes, loaded them onto their truck and they were off to their next delivery. Easy peasy! Jerome's, you're sitting on five stars. Please. Please, don't make me have to write an update!

After 4 or 5 months it was still so stiff and every single morning my fiance was in pain complaining about how uncomfortable it was. So we went back knowing we were out of the 90 days but it didn't do what we were told it would do. (LIE #1) So they (Michelle) let us exchange it, and we got a "plush". I prefer firmer, he likes it a little softer and it seemed like a decent compromise or so we thought!! We were charged an ADDITIONAL $1500, stating it was more expensive. Let me just state what we got is NOTHING like what we laid on in the store, it's like a bait and switch. What we got feels like it's been trampled on by a bulldozer. For reference I weigh approx 125 lbs, and I literally sunk 4" in this mattress. I laid on it for 10 minutes and said nope I cannot sleep on this (I was not home at time of delivery or I'd not have accepted it) My fiance slept on it one night and said that is beyond uncomfortable and is not the bed we laid on in store, and I slept in our guest room. After the 2nd night we took it and put it in our guest room where it's been since leaning against a wall, and we have our Queen guest bed on our King size frame. I called the corporate office OVER A WEEK AGO and have a case # and was told the district manager would contact us HE HAS NOT. Michelle did and basically told us we are stuck with it, a $4600 mattress we have zero use for, ummm NO. At that time we were told the District Manager would call the follwowing day and you guessed it, we STILL HAVEN'T heard from him. (LIE #2) So Jesse another store associate called today and gave us 3 options, 1. return it for our original (well if we wanted that we'd have kept it in the first place) 2. exchange for something else in store (we like nothing there) or 3. keep it. None of which are acceptable, the only acceptable answer is RETURN FOR A FULL REFUND minus the $250 restocking fee. He stated we cannot return it. (LIE #3) I called him after I spoke to my fiance letting me know of the conversation, and told him once again I ONLY want to speak with the district manager. Monday I will be calling corporate again, they were closed today. We have already gone to Mattress Pavilion and purchased a King Coil. The owner whom we purchased from stated she worked for Mattress Firm for @ 20 years and quit because their customer service is so terrible, which I can attest is 100% ABSOLUTE FACT! She also informed us the Stearns and Foster is no longer a good mattress and the quality has gone WAY DOWN, since Tempupedic bought them. Had we known that we'd have never bought it. I had one for 25 years before and it was amazing, they are no longer amazing. She (the owner of Mattress Pavillion) also let us know that YES we can return it even if it's the 2nd one and that they should ONLY charge us the $250 restock fee, after we told her we even offered to take only $3800 back, just take the PILE OF CRAP, she said no, you can return it. She should know she worked there forever. So buyer beware of Mattress Firm, go spend your money at Mattress Pavillion instead. The owner is awesome and VERY KNOWLEDGABLE.

Just hope others do not experience what I have had to experience. Guardian and Tri-County Furniture Service (TCFS) has been, by far, the worst experience I've had with a furniture repair company and this is who Bobs swears is a reputable insurance company with their good proof insurance they offer. From the beginning, the insurance company attempted to have me act as the technician by requiring a video appointment and asking me to move and lift the furniture myself. When I insisted on having an actual technician come out, it took 2-4 weeks just to schedule a visit. After finally being seen, I was told the item was repairable, only to later be informed that the necessary part was no longer available. They offered some low ball amount to take back to bobs to spend more money and get new furniture (for the record this is my families 4th time going through this process) I then had to go through multiple steps on my own just to secure the part, and even after that, I had to call myself to schedule another appointment for installation. The next available appointment was another four weeks out. To make matters worse, the appointment was canceled the day before and pushed back an additional two weeks. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told they were all unavailable. Customer service throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. One representative in particular, Laura, was especially unhelpful and lacked basic professionalism. Overall, this company demonstrates a complete lack of organization, accountability, and customer care. I strongly recommend going with a more reputable company to avoid the frustration and wasted time I experienced

He was so warm and welcoming, immediately asking if we were looking for something specific or just browsing. We chose to browse, and he kindly assured us we could take our time. He mentioned he'd be nearby if we needed anything but didn't want to hover--which we really appreciated because it gave my husband and I the space to talk things over as we looked around. I'm honestly not sure why this location has some low reviews, because the customer service was truly top notch. Hi-May made us feel comfortable, not pressured, and when we decided not to purchase anything that day, he still thanked us sincerely for coming in and asked that if we returned, we remember his name. That kind of genuine service is rare these days. Even though we didn't buy anything this time, we left with a very positive impression. The prices were reasonable and tho we didnt find what we were looking for today we want to sat Thanks to Hi-May, we'll definitely be back!

    I purchased a kitchen island from Homestyles 2024 paid over $1000 for it!…read more When I received the island and we started putting it together a few pieces were damaged! We called and we did get a very friendly girl who helped us and replaced the parts! However the parts came in the day after my husband left for deployment so I just left the pieces in the box for a couple months! After putting the new doors on, one of the doors after a week split up the side and would no longer stay on, mind you the my are pre drilled holes! I sent an email explaining what happened! After getting the run around and then telling me they would replace it, they came back and told me since I already got replacement parts I couldn't get anymore! I sent and email telling them that was not right that they sent me an item damaged and then obviously sent me a defective door! The girl that was emailing ghosted me and would not communicate anymore! VERY DISSATISFIED AND WILL NOT BUY AGAIN FROM THEM!!

I was like WOW ok...I needed a mattress and box spring so I said ok fine. As soon as we got up to his desk he started putting on MORE FEES...we had a 21 dollar recycling fee, we had a 14 dollar fee for delivery and then sales tax...we said maybe we will go somewhere else. so he went down in price 14 dollars. which means he took the delivery fee off. HE said it will be there in one hour. So we went home and waited. The guy who delivered was nice and friendly and even offered to set it up for me. I said no thats ok I can do it..he said ok..I signed for it and he brought it in..THATS WHEN I NOTICED..THERE IS NO CUSHION MATTRESS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MATTRESS...you are suppose to flip your mattress every 3-6 months to keep it in good shape..well I cant! This does not have ANY mattress CUSHION on the flip side..its just a piece of material covering springs...now in the shop you would not notice this Unless you FLIP the mattress over in the store and they do not allow you to do that in the store..so NOW I have a mattress thats only a ONE SIDED mattress....and when I try to call the store...no one answers....I was DUPED!!!!!!!
