Did a Yelp search while visiting the Jupiter area this week as I desperately needed a haircut. Jerry's seemed like my kind of place from the reviews. Pretty easy to get to and I walked in the door around 11am on a Friday. There were three barbers working and about 6 gentlemen waiting. I was greeted and took my place in line. A fourth barber showed up and went right to work. Each barber was unique in personality and the banter in the place was entertaining and just what I signed on for. The decor was classic with some sports memorabilia, old time photos and the place was pretty clean. Prices seemed reasonable for this type of place (approx $20 for a hair cut). Once it was my turn, the youngest barber in the place took me, I forget his name. He took his time and made sure it was being cut exactly how I wanted. Just enough conversation for me as I don't want to know their life story but I do like the witty repartee. The clientele was professional and older but it was a work day so I'm guessing younger clients come after work or weekends. Plenty of off street parking made it an easy stop. read more

Awful. Butchered my hair. I told her to keep my stye and she completely changed it. I told taper it, and she buzzed it off completely and didn't even blend it right. Worst hair cut experience I've had in a long time. At least it was free of charge. read more

I ALWAYS come here whenever I'm on leave. Main reason is they did my sons first haircut and they handled it very well, since then they always get my business. That has changed since my last visit. I showed up at 12:15, there was 1 customer in front of me and a few minutes later 3 after me. I was a walk-in. The customers behind me had appointments set up but weren't until 2pm. A barber finished up and it was my turn, the barber proceeded to tell those behind me " if u don't wana wait forever I'll gladly take you guys right now". He completely ignored me, even after he personally saw me walk in and sit down and wait for a walk in. I confused as to why I was skipped and 2 customers allowed to skip me. Until I looked around and realized I was the only minority there. I'm not saying this was discrimination, but it sure felt like it and perception is everything. Never doing business with them again. In town for business desperately needing a haircut. One search on Yelp will show multiple options..too many! Couldn't be happier going to Jerry's. The very personable young lady who cut my hair was awesome...cut, shave and hot towel cleanup for $20?!?! Great job as well, she definitely did not rush through it. James Guertin 1st time to this shop and had my worst haircut. I told my young barber that I wanted a trim and take about a months growth off. The next thing I knew he was running a clipper up the back of my head and gave me the shortest haircut I've ever had. If I ever to go back I would have to try a different barber and be very spacific as to what I want. read more

I learned something today. Yelp rates businesses without regard to dates. Jerry's reviews are mostly 2014 and 2015. I have written many very good reviews. I have never written a bad review. This is as close as I can get. By the way I am 67 and this was not my first haircut.I am going to get a haircut today. Usually I get a haircut every month. It is 2 1/2 months since I got a hair cut at Jerry's, I'll get one today somewhere else. Last year they had a Latino barber who was great. This year I got one of the three regulars at Jerry's. I was the only customer. Their joint conversation was non stop. Nobody can do 2 things at he same time and do both well. read more

Spending some time in the Jupiter area and needed a haircut and mustache and beard trim. Found Jerrys Barber Shop in a general search of barbers in the area. Saw they had the highest Yelp Review rating in the area so gave them a call. Got me in the same day. Shop was easy to find and it had a nice old time look and feel about the shop. Luck of the draw I I got Jerry. He did a great job with both the haircut and trimming of the mustache and beard. Even the wife thought he did a nice job. Happy wife, happy life. Stopped in here for a quick hair. From VA and the heat and humidity was killing me so I wanted skin tight and a trim. Had Roy cut my hair and I will say hands down best haircut I've had and gave good advice styling and on what to ask when I go home for cuts. Atmosphere was good with me since I have a sense of humor and enjoy jokes. Price was on par to what I would pay at home. Very pleased and recommend this shop and Roy if your looking for a skin fade. read more

Moved to Jupiter area 7 months ago. Tried different barber shops every month. Had issues with quality of hair cut and price. Read about Jerry's in Yelp. They did an excellent quality hair cut. And their price is much better than anything in the area. Jerry charges $10 for a crew cut, and $15 for a regular haircut. Everyone else charges $19 to $30 for a haircut. Also, Jerry takes credit cards as well as cash, while many barber shops only take cash. I'll be back for future haircuts. read more
