Last time I ate there it was okay but its service sucks so I haven't been back since.

Cheese on the pizza is my favorite thing; this is why I ordered three large pizzas, one with one topping and extra cheese, 69 dollars later, little to no cheese on the pizza! I will not order pizza from here anytime soon. read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery today, I was told it would be delivered in one hour. Two hours later I received a cold pizza, I had called to ask why it was taking so long. The food was amazing, when me and dad came to pick the pizza's up they were right out of the oven, the size of the pizza were good and had a generous amount of toppings. The service was amazing as well! Jerry's is my favorite locally owned pizza in Siouxland. (Otherwise I really enjoy Papa John's.) Everything about your slice is great. Not too much sauce, not too much cheese or toppings. It arrives warm, soft, but still has that crust crunch. Speaking of crusts, that's why I didn't give 5 stars. Their pizza is a thinner crust and it's sometimes burnt. (I usually scrape off the toppings and eat it all weird with a fork anyways. That way the crust doesn't bother me much at all.) They of course deliver, but I always go and pick it up. They almost always seem swamped. Which is a good thing in my book. read more

What a total disappointment. Waited an hour and 30 minutes for our pizzas. OK, that's Jerry's. But my mushroom and green olive pizza only had a handful of olives. I couldn't even taste them! I have never had such a disappointing pizza from Jerry's before. And unlike other businesses, they won't compensate disappointed customers. read more

Best tasting pizza in Sioux City. The crispy crust is what keeps em coming back. A family run operation that isn't afraid to put toppings on a pizza. I just wish they'd add a little cheese on top to keep the toppings from falling off everywhere when you pick up a slice. Albeit being the vegetable toppings they massively pile on that end up falling off everywhere. Still leaving the piece itself loaded with toppings. Great pizza with great crust . I've been enjoying Jerry's Pizza since the early 1990s. I came to be "addicted" to a large mushroom pie with extra mushrooms. I have actually driven them directly out of the oven in Morningside and all the way into Lincoln, Nebraska...a full two hours away, to eat them there with friends. Why? Because I told them that the pizzas would be worth the wait, and you know what? They agreed with me! It's a great place with nice people and great pizza...I highly recommend them! read more

One of the pizza's I ordered accidentally got taken by a delivery driver and they not only apologized but gave me my other pizza free and gave me a gift certificate for the missing one. This is the pizza everything else is judged against in our world. It defies logic but we have had pizza in NY. Chicago, LA, Jersey etc. And so far nothing can beat Jerry.s. First of all how can you hold a slice of combination pizza by the crust only, hold it straight out in front of you, and have it not droop over and lose toppings? For real, how does this happen? The crust is thin, crunchy, dusted with corn starch or something on the bottom, and it does not recognize gravity. PERFECT! Every single time we have came back to Sioux City since we moved in 1992 we have had Jerry's. We have never been disappointed. Sioux City in fact has a half dozen really good pizza joints but this is the best. I wish they would open a sports bar and serve beer with their pizza but hey...... can't have everything. read more

Wow! This is a very good pizza. I ordered a med Canadian bacon and pineapple. Came hot, in a bag and with lots of toppings. Good job!! The crust, thin with no edge, isn't what I usually like. But overall it's a great pizza. It does get better though. Delivery guy seen that I'm delivering a load of Subaru's to the dealer he once worked for. I feel it is my duty as a true blooded Italian to give a honest review. I am a traveler coming through Sioux City Iowa for a three-month travel assignment. In my entire life on this earth I have never had such horrible low-grade pizza until today. I can honestly say it was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had eating pizza in my life. Who on earth uses a saltine cracker crust to make pizza. They dumped cheese on top of a saltine cracker barely cooked it and have the nerve to call it pizza. Some of the best pizza in town. Personally, I go for the sausage and pepperoni. Always comes out hot and tastes great. Make sure you don't stack the pizzas if picking up more than one. Love the pizza but the customer service on the phone sucks! Seriously, the lady kept cutting me off, four times may I add. Some of the best pizza in Sioux City but never look forward to talking to the Jerry's people. Only on Morningside. The Hamilton Jerry's is wonderful everywhere you turn, the pizza is good, the people are great, everything is clean and put together. Morningside needs a little TLC, the lady didn't listen to a single word I said. The woman on the phone was wacky. Overall, the end product is great. I wanted to like this place.... This was our first visit to Jerry's Pizza, as we are from out of town. We arrived to pick up our pepperoni pizza before it was even done, so, it was hot out of the oven. When we took our first bite we both agreed it was over cooked and dry. We would haven given this place another try, maybe on an off day instead of Friday after work, but then my husband took a bite and came away with a long hair. I lived in Sioux City in the 60's and 70's. This is still absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. Was just back to SC and had to go to Jerrys Pizza. Took my family. It is still THE BEST. On top of that their staff and management are the most friendly people. I went there all the way from Texas. This was my first stop. While waiting for our pizzas to bake, several other folks came in for orders from all around Iowa. This is not only a local landmark but a local specialty that all who grew up there has to have when back in Siouxland. If you are in the Sioux City area treat yourself and get a pizza.
