This program is the reason why I am achieving my dreams! This program is hard, but absolutely not…read moreimpossible. Please do not read the rest of the reviews that are completely negative. The professors here have high expectations, as they should! 16 month ABSN is not "quicker and easier way to your BSN" it is faster, more rigorous to ensure you will pass the NCLEX and ALSO be a stellar nurse that you would want your family to be assigned to! Those that are negative on here are the same people that did not read every page of their text, watch the videos in the modules, go to office hours, or tutoring! If you see something you do not understand in the text, you must address it before you get to the test, score poorly, and wonder why. Many people begin this program ignorant to the immense sacrifice and dedication that it will take. Nursing is not easy. If you use your resources, you will not only succeed, but you will also excel. The professors want you to be the very best you can, are extremely uplifting, and are honestly my mentors. If you want this, and dedicate 16 months to putting the pedal to the metal to be the best, most well-learned nurse you can be, you will be! Even as an online program, I was able to get involved in the tampa/st.pete community, do clinicals at amazing baycare facilities, learn from the brightest! I have made lifelong friends here and am now graduating this week and on my way to my dream specialty.

Buyer beware! Graduate and maintained one of the highest GPA at the school...that being said stay…read moreaway, they(anyone except instructors) could care less. Money motivates the "school", here is an example. The class or cohort I was in more often then not had issues when it came to passing test, the fix, grade on a curve, which is ok as long as it is done fairly across the board, I made a 98 on a cumulative test, they awarded 30pts to keep the rest of my class/cohort/fellow utica students from FAILING(loss of school income). Out of that 30 points awarded I was only able to get 2 points, I was told above 100 was against school policy, I querying this an email sent to an individual named, Pawloski. I of course never got a response. This is important to know because of the way their grading system works, a 4.0 is unattainable at Utica! I graduated around mid December and the school is holding us hostage to our future by not turning over to the state, our transcript so that we could be eligible for SIT pass(nursing board). Again I've made contact with the school regarding this as other schools would not take 12 weeks after graduation to let students continue on with their lives. Again no rhyme or reason, just lack of care(although popular opion among graduates, is the school has to maintain a certain pass rate for the state to allow them to be accredited, so they hold them). When we first went to an orientation or "THE BIG SELL" another individual named Payrot assured us all of the negative reviews were old and the school had made hugh changes, apparently, Mr Payrot has a lack of concept on technology(I looked them up, then and there, and found his statement to be at the very least, false). I have a prior BA from a state university, so I felt while the program lacked in SO many ways, I could complete it and did not want to wait for another school program to start. I've decide to give this program a 1 star as the 5 star rating(s) are clearly fake, so why haven't droves of students come forward to express the same? Simple answer, no one wants to tell people "their" school is bad, this gets to employers making it less likely to be a candidate for hire ie, Havard law vs Silly Clowns school of law! With this in mind if this is your ONLY choice, find another career!!!! To the school: save your time and do not reply as tho you care, you were given many chances to right your wrongs and choose to do otherwise, doing so now would be under duress, not because it is the right thing to do:) Dictated but not read.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE!! If I could add zero stars I would. I was told by a counselor to talk to…read morethe DRC because I can't pass a simple math class for the life of me. The DRC has messed with my time and patience multiple times already because they keep changing up the documentation they need to be able to accept the fact that I have anxiety and need more time and even more help when it comes to certain subjects. They have made it physically impossible to get help and have made me cry as I walk out the door because the woman in charge of the DRC talk to you as if you're a child instead of a young adult trying to get proper help. On top of that, it took me coming in 4 more times for them to accept all of my transfer credits and my fasfa because they don't have proper protocol and always seem to blame technology or other schools, etc for they're mess ups. I just transferred here. It is absolutely ridiculous I have to deal with these unprofessional, belittling, shitty adults. Please look at all your options before deciding to go to this school.

There is an abundance of parking close to the building. The rooms can be set up to meet whatever your need is for your event. The staff is friendly. The campus security guards work well with you during your event. You are also assigned a maintenance crew member durong your event. You can book monthly activities to securing a room for ongoing activites. The scheduler is easy to work with when booking your activity. I recommend this venue for meeting and special events.

Please do your research before coming to this school. As a current student at this school and in my…read morelast semester before I am supposed to graduate it is the worst semester of my life. The teacher for med surge 3 Mrs. Paolino does not teach the class we have no lecture at all and we are told to follow the outline for learning, but no guidance is given when it comes to what to study for exams and then they are all upset that the class pretty much fails. I am paying 120,000 to teach myself and sit in a classroom for 3 hours to learn nothing more than I did before walk into the classroom. The teacher tells you that they are only here for the one day of class and then after that you cant really get in touch with your instructor. You voice your opinion to get help, and it's turned around on the students that we are not doing what we should be doing but we are doing everything that we are told. Your grade depends on your exams to pass the class as they give barely anything else to help your grade in the class. They get upset when we go and look at other campuses that do get lectures and learn from them or get on YouTube to learn about things we should be taught in the classroom for all the money that we are paying to come to this school. You know who the teachers' favorites are as get the extra help and given more resources than other students that will voice how they feel about something. They always go back to the semesters before us, but they passed the class not from the teaching but from cheating off each other or getting answers from teachers about the exams. In our last semester they are sending us to clinicals the whole semester instead of giving us time to focus on exams and the other classes that we are in. When we take the one credit courses, they have a lot of work in them also that has to be completed and can be lengthy also for work. I wish that I had asked more questions coming into this program before I signed up. You can manage and budget time but some of us students have families and stuff that we also have to care for. Not everyone learns the same way or have the same learning style, and they give no lectures for the students that need that and can't learn from just reading a book. I am not paying 120,000 to pretend that I am in an acting class or to have my peers teach me things that are wrong and im still having to do research again to collect the correct information so that I know what I am learning is correct. Yes, we are in nursing school and getting a BSN but we are still paying to learn about nursing and making sure that we can be the best nurse when we graduate. I know that my peers feel the same way as its talked about daily. I know that the staff at this school thinks that all we have done since we started is complain and whine but it's our education and our money, we are paying so yes, we want the best for ourselves. Some of the teachers are bullies to students. What they think has helped the cohorts before us really did not do anything because they passed by cheating so none of that information really matters. I believe that having lectures back will help so many of us in this cohort and cohorts to come after us. Just giving us questions, pretending we are in acting school and giving no guidance is not helping any of the students at all. It makes me upset to see that half of my cohort that I have went through all these semesters with are struggling in this class and with exams because we are given nothing to help us and everything to hinder our learning and our experience.
