Top notch, clean and friendly. Not as much seating as I'm used to seeing so be prepared to get it to go.

Well I spun my RNG wheel of restaurants and landed on Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen, so we popped in for…read morelunch one day and had a delicious meal! Ambiance was nice. It's in a strip mall, but the space inside is done up pretty well. Very Aloha. Very cozy. The service was A+, too. Very friendly people who helped me figure out that the only way to go for a first visit is to sample everything. And the food came out timely. Everything tasted freshmade. Great vibes from everything. So we started off with the Aloha Special (Combination Plate: Mochiko Chicken, Crispy Pork Belly, and Ono Shrimp. Mac Salad topped w/Kani Krab). Literally some of the best chicken I've had in my life. Part chicken katsu, part Korean fried chicken, just a really magnificent thing. Order this, please. The pork belly was nice and crispy and flavorful. The shrimp read a little too salty, though. If you're considering the shrimp, just be wary. The Surfside Sample (Combination Plate: Luau Pig, Beef Short Ribs and Ono Shrimp) was a little less impressive. If you have to choose between the combo plates, pick the other one. Pork was good, had a yummy, sticky sauce on top. The short ribs were good, too. Not too chewy or anything. And, the return of the shrimp. I also got the Spam Musubi (Spam with sweet sauce and rice, wrapped in Nori), because of course I had to. I will never see a musubi on a menu and not order it. This one was good. Standard. You won't be disappointed. Overall, a superb five star meal. I'm very glad I came here, and I would love to come back.

Craving a plate lunch this day…read more Kalbi Aloha Plate was $17 which consist of 2 1/2 strip kalbi ribs cut in pcs. With rice and mac salad. The Kalbi this day was dry and not saucy / juicy. I had made this at home better but I was craving it today and didn't feel like cooking it at home. It was a busy day this for them so orders were busy and the grill was busy. The mac salad was moist but still missing the "umami" taste of a real ono mac salad. Even though this was a mediocre meal it's still my fave hawaiian lunch plate spot in Orlando.

First up were the breakfast tacos, loaded with chopped brisket, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and salsa on housemade beef fat tortillas. These are a must. Those tortillas paired with their smoky brisket made them some seriously good breakfast tacos. Next came the biscuits topped with rich and creamy gravy, followed by the Filipino breakfast sandwich layered with longanisa sausage, a fried egg, crispy hash brown, American cheese and sambal mayo on a potato roll. Savory, spicy and messy in all the right ways. Of course, we couldn't leave without finishing with one of their giant cinnamon rolls covered in icing. It was the perfect sweet ending to a great brunch.

They did still have the giant beef rib when we arrived. But at $36 a rib, we opted to go with the pork ribs instead. Each of the general protein servings is a half pound. So we ended up with a portion of the pork rib, the pulled pork and the pork belly. The pork ribs was really good, although my husband didn't like the glaze that they had on the rib but the meat was delicious. The pulled pork was very good not fatty, which is fantastic. The pork belly is cut into giant chunks. It is very tasty. It does have a decent amount of fat on it. This location also has a variety of sides to choose from. We opted for the collard greens and the mac & cheese. The collard greens were good. They could've been cooked a little bit longer. As some of the pieces were a bit crunchy. The mac & cheese was good although the cheese sauce felt a little gooey and we attributed to that they may use a rue to make their sauce. Overall - we enjoyed the food and would check them out again.

It took about twenty minutes for her to make my meal, which she warned me about and was totally fine. The food hall is a great place to hang out. I ordered the Diavola Cheese Bowl. It's delicious and indulgent and spicy and cheesy and just all around wonderful. It's definitely shareable but I ate the whole thing alone (oops) because it was SO yummy. I liked the arugula on the side as a tiny pop of freshness amongst all the cheese. We saw many dishes come past us and everything looked beautiful and delicious. They definitely take care in making their food look as delicious as it tastes.

How else are we able to try different things off the menu? I'm glad I have friends and family that enjoy sharing because I know there are some who prefer not to share. And that is ok as well. But I personally enjoy sharing. The place was packed but we didn't have trouble finding a place to sit after we ordered. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to return. Something to look forward to for next time.

We got two dishes; ropa vieja and roasted pork. Both were amazing; juicy and flavorful. Both the rice (especially the yellow rice) and the beans were good too. And the tostones were some of the richest I've had. Prices were very reasonable. The one sort of negative thing I'd say is it's difficult to access by foot. I can't speak to the food because I didn't eat anything during my visit so this review is based off of the coffee and the ambiance as well as the service. The whole coffee flight concept is an awesome idea! Especially to coffee lovers who want to try more than one thing. A really, really solid idea that more places should pick up on. This is honestly what impressed me the most. Also, they're really creative about their coffee options. I love that there is a coquito latte, and initially that was what I was going to order but then I saw an iced nutella foam latte on there and that won my vote. I'm not really sure what i was expecting. It was beautifully presented and I love that it was not sweet, it was just right. The consistency however was more like a milkshake rather than an iced coffee and after having half of it I was already over it; its very rich. It's a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. I like that they have that Morro design inside just like in Puerto Rico. Service was friendly and timely. I do plan to come back again and try one of their sandwiches.
