Do not...I repeat do not eat breakfast before coming here if you plan on attempting to eat whole sandwich. I stopped in for lunch and shared the monster with a friend. The bread was so soft and there was a ton of meat on the roll so much that you could barely close the sandwich. It's a little out of the way but worth it. Even though this is a Philly supporter spot, it reminded me of being home in NY. 4.5 stars. I'll be back.

The service is A+! The Philly Cheesesteak portions are incredible. The smallest option is a 8" and it is bursting with beef! Fries are lackluster and could use seasoning, but for a simple old school Philly place in the corner of a local plaza, I can't be too mad.

I've been eating hoagies and cheesesteaks from here since I was a kid. Never disappointed!!! Staff is very friendly and the Cheesesteak was AMAZING!!! So glad that I was on this side of town and thought of them. Got to share them with some fresh mouths.

Good Hoagie, freshly sliced meats, fresh veggies and a soft cornmeal dusted (bottom) roll. Friendly staff and a touch of Philly in Florida!

Delicious. Great atmosphere. Felt like I was in a NE sub shop. Peppers were on point.

This is literally the best sandwich shop around. I am in love with their deluxe Italian hoagie. This sandwich is loaded to the hilt with veggies, meat and cheese and gigantic. It comes with the option of adding three different types of peppers; banana, sweet, or hot. I usually do a mix of the sweet and hot peppers and it's always a winner in our house. We also usually throw in some onion rings and sweet potato fries. Their onion rings are incredible and their sweet potato fries are nice and crispy and waffle cut. We've come back so many times after our first visit and they're always consistent. Hands down the Hoagies around!!

Though related to the namesake sub-slingers in south Florida, this solo location is its own thing, and they do an amazing job with hot subs (down south laspadas isn't a cheesesteak place at all, but like children, you can love them both equally). I've had cheesesteaks here twice now, and a meatball sub special yesterday ($9 with fries and drink), and the slight crisp the bun gets in the oven, and the generous load of contents (4 HUGE meatballs), make this a place worth driving a little further for. When ordering, check out the papers stick to the fridge for daily specials. Highly recommend.

I grew up in South Florida and had a LaSpadas nearby. So if I'm near Lee Road I make plans to grab lunch and let's be honest, their subs are huge so it's dinner, too! The bread is fresh, meat sliced to order, and over filled in the hogie. They know how to do it right, for sure!

I'm from Philly and have been in WP for 2 years and am just finding this place!!! OMG!!! I absolutely love it and will be back for more. I've resorted to making my own steaks and hoagies since moving here but the bread is not the same! They got the bread darn near perfect!! I ordered a cheesesteak and a hoagie to go, but was so excited I tasted both while there. The chips were on point - Honey bbq Herr's. Friendly folks behind the counter and met some fellow Philadelphians...Today was an Outstanding food day!!

I'm not sure if this LaSpada's is related to the LaSpada's in south Florida, but if it is, there is a lot they can learn from their brothers down south. Starting with the good - the sub is decent - they do the extra fold of meat over top and it's on their good bread. Not sure if I caught the crew on a rough day or it's part of the "experience" but they all just seemed really annoyed to be working. The locations in South Florida hustle you through but they are having fun while doing it. The biggest knock for this location is the atmosphere however - from the dirty tables to the broken down arcade machines and the dingy countertops and overflowing trash can. It really could use a good deep cleaning and upgrade.

Tiny hole in the wall but once you're inside there is a very nice amount of seating, both tables and a barstool area to sit at. I placed an order and proceeded to sit at the bar area and wait for my food. Once it came out (super fast despite how many people were there), I understood why the sandwiches here are a little on the pricier side. The Ya-Mon which is jerk chicken, sweet plantains, pork rinds, jalapeno pesto, mango jam, gouda, jerk lime mayo, was heavenly. All the flavors blended in perfectly and the bread was so soft. The lime mayo was outstanding! It was about $16 and we'll worth every penny. The staff was super friendly and got everything cooked and sent out to each table very quickly. I will say if you come here during peak times, be ready to take the order to eat in your car or somewhere else because the tables filled up insanely fast while I was here!

The sandwiches are really creative and actually taste good which says a lot - I feel like most places with this style over-do it. Kind of reminds me of New York City bodega subs but with a twist. Beer selection is solid too, plenty of options to pair with whatever sandwich you may get. Makes for a good sit down lunch with a beer. I do wish their patio had more coverage though, great little outside seating area but often the sun is beating down on you and that sucks.

I stopped in after doing some shopping and placed my order online so it would be ready by the time I finished. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and a Dream Bar. It was after 8 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty much empty. My order was ready ahead of the quoted pickup time, which I appreciated. However, the sandwich didn't quite live up to what I remember. The bread didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and the sandwich was lukewarm instead of warm and toasty like I've experienced at other locations. The Dream Bar was also not quite what I remembered. It didn't have the same richness or taste that made it a favorite for me in the past. I'm not sure if the time of day impacted the quality, but the overall experience just didn't match the Potbelly I remember from Chicago. That said, because I've had great experiences with this brand in the past, I'd be open to giving this location another try. When you walk in you are greeted by all the friendly staff, who are all eager to help. The shop itself looks like it has all the original furniture and definitely gives old school vibes which i personally find charming. You place your order at the counter and by the time you finish ordering your sub is ready. We had to wait a few extra minutes for our onion rings but that was because they were frying them fresh. My husband ordered the 8inch Regular Sub which is just another way of saying an Italian sub and I ordered a 6inch Cheesesteak Sub with a side of onion rings. The regular sub was packed with cold cuts and sprinkled with hots peppers. The sandwich tasted fresh and those peppers added great flavor to the sandwich. The cheesesteak was tender and had the perfect amount of cheese. The cheesesteak was so good I regret only getting it on a 6inch roll instead of an 8inch. The onion rings were big and crispy. I liked that when you bit into the onion rings all the onion didn't fall out. On both subs the bread was so pillow soft and fresh. Now that I know they have quality food I would like to comeback and try their wings with fries and wraps. Gabriel's is definitely a spot I need to return to.

So when we saw waffle sandwich bar, we thought the prices seemed reasonable. The brisket melt waffle sandwich looked reasonable at $18. With taxes and the service fee that all restaurants charge at the hall, it came out to $20. We were expecting a generous based on the price, but we were extremely disappointed with the 3 slices of chopped brisket in the sandwich, and the small size of the waffles. The flavor was good but I'm worried this place won't be able to survive as I am usually pretty forgiving with restaurants but I had to be honest about our experience here. I hope if they continue charging these prices that they'll be a bit more generous with their portion size going forward.
