Went to Jersey Mikes for lunch and ordered a Big Kahuna steak sub to go, The chain is consistent with serving good subs, today was no exception. The restaurant was busy and staff were working on a 5 or 6 sub to go order. I stood in front is 5 staff for 4 to 5 minutes never being acknowledged or a comment we will be with you as soon as possible (which would be fine). I was less than 2 feet away from a male staff worker cutting cold cuts for sandwiches. He never even looked up to acknowledge I was there. This is our favorite Sub spot. You can't go wrong with Jersey Mikes. The reason we choose this extablishment over other sub restaurants is their dedication to quality, allergy awareness, and flavor. They offer gluten free bread unlike others and ask if you need a glove change. They cut their meat right in front of you and if your getting a hot sandwhich they cook it on the grill. My favorite sandwhich is the Italian on their cheesy bread. My fiancé is allergic to dairy and wheat. He gets a gluten free Philly without cheese. They have all the basic toppings. Sometimes I wish they had more toppings but it helps me to appreciate the quality of the meat and bread without a salad of toppings. Prices are higher here but they make up for it with the quality. They even have cane sugar sodas that we love, as well as bottled/can drinks if your not comfortable with fountain drinks. Service is always wonderful here. You never wait long to order. They are fast and friendly. My only complaint is you can see the employees chowing down on food in the back. I don't like seeing employees with their mask off eating in the restaurant kitchen area. Otherwise they all had mask on while handling food and serving us. In the food industry it's normal to take snacking breaks but with proper protocol and a little more discretion. read more

Every Sub I've gotten here has been bangin Today I got a very tasty, hot and juicy Cheesesteak with fried onions and extra American cheese. Get the "Giant" if you remember large Jersey subs. This is so good I almost gave it 5 stars. Three noted things I had to order mine, " Famous Philly" hold the green peppers, extra cheese Ketchup is nowhere in the Kitchen Use the little Heinz packs. The Merritt Island Jersey Mike's has never let me down. Food is always fresh, the staff is always friendly and helpful. But they took it a step further yesterday. I was having trouble using the app due to a bad internet connection. But it finally went through. We decided to get a couple philly cheesesteaks last week on our way home. The workers were very nice 1 young girl and 2 very pleasant young men. And our sandwiches were so good but......the table area where u eat was so gross The floors dirty A couple fly's in front area and one table missing completely ‍. I'm pretty sure no sanitizing is being done. Shame on the owners !! I had sanitizing wipes to wipe table But really couldn't u have cleaned and repaired and painted your floors while u were closed !!!! So, while I give a one star, I'd like to say that I normally love this place! After nearly two dozen flawless visits, I called my normal order in today. It was for a regular Philly with green peppers and onions, double cheese, not American and Provolone... well I got home and instead of green peppers it had their red and yellow pepper mix on it. When paying $15 for a regular sandwich and a 20 ounce drink it's reasonable to get it right! While I did get a sandwich and drink, it was not what was ordered. What should be concerning is not the food quality but the manager, Hannah's, response that that's just the way it comes! In the past I have literally watched them slice a green pepper to make the sandwich. If you refuse to serve what I order then I should spend my money at other Philly shops, which I will.... Such a simple thing to fix and yet she/they would rather drive you away. Do what you want, again, most experiences were positive, but this one person did it for me. All managers should be trained in customer service before taking customer concerns. Obviously this is not the end of the world but it's enough for me to do business elsewhere and share my experience.... read more

Was welcomed by a lovely lady informing us on where to find a menu. It was during their opening day by the way. Throughout the meal we were asked if we needed refills which was nice and was not over done. Our subs were hot, tasty, and made to order. Tables were clean and smiles were friendly. I really loved their subs from first trying them years ago in Orlando: the bread was seasoned and the grilled meat was seasoned. Well rounded deliciousness. I always get hot subs because they are preferred for me here. The past few times the meat has been flavorless. This Jersey Mikes shoukd invest in better employees. I go inside to order and I see peppers inside the mayo. I ask the young lady if she would use a new spatula so my sandwich didn't get peppers on it. I didn't even ask her to clean it out or anything. She got snippy with me and said there's no peppers on it and continued. I asked again and she got pissed, walked in the back after saying something that I couldn't really make out. When she returned I just asked to cancel my order if they want to keep the place nasty. Sad because I go to this place all the time, but i usually order online. Well never again. read more

I ordered 3 subs using the mobile app and arrived at the store at the given time to pick up my order. Got my bag and went to the car. Only 2 subs in the bag. Went back in and the same worker as my first visit got the sub from the grill area and placed all three subs in a new larger bag. Got that bag and went to the car. Checked the subs and one was wrong. Went back in and another worker came to see what the issue was. Offered to keep the cheese steak warm, remake my sub (which was correct and completely unnecessary) and get the other one corrected. Eventually given indication that my order was ready. Took the bag to the car and checked again. There are now FOUR subs and two are incorrect. Go back in and ask to speak to a manager. Get the subs again but never hear sorry or anything at any point from anyone after having been in the store FOUR times and I expressed just that. Got the name of the manager and left. Got home and my sub (that never needed to be remade in the first place) is wrong again and the cheese steaks are cold. At this point, it just seems intentional to not make sure my order of three subs is correct. Horrible customer service, never a word spoken at any point by the original worker, saw another worker giving me looks and mumbling to the manager, manager never expressed any regret at the fiasco of not being able to get my order correct. Being a local, I visited Jersey Mikes in Cocoa Beach for the first time. Staff wasn't short-handed at all....about 6 people making and ringing up sandwiches, but somehow, they still managed to make so many errors to the order, I might as well have gone to a fast food joint. As for the food, the menu is varied and excellent, and the meats and toppings were plentiful and very tasty. The bread was very fresh and the 'regular' size sandwiches I got were good sized. I ordered to go a (20) pastrami on WHITE for myself, and a (17) philly cheese steak on WHEAT for my boyfriend who is diabetic. Imagine my delight--NOT!!-- upon getting home with the sandwiches, to discover the sandwich maker had reversed the breads--the wheat was on the pastrami and the white was on my boyfriend's cheesesteak. BIG MISTAKE, as I told the girl who took my order TWICE what type of bread I wanted for each. It was made VERY CLEAR to her, but apparently, did not translate to whoever made the sandwich. To top it off, they forgot the swiss cheese on the pastrami sandwich, so it was swimming in the saurkraut,and that's about it. I would only eat at Jersey Mike's again if I was dining in, so I could have my mistaken order rectified on the spot! As a long time JM customer, I am willing to pay higher prices for premium sandwiches. This location does NOT cut it. In addition to regular sloppy sandwich preparation and immature staff repeatedly holding inappropriate conversations in front of customers, they continually serve over baked bread. This is an intentional decision, as a staff member confirmed the bread was overdone and said I shouldn't expect the same thing at every location.
