Cajun Burger with CAJUN TATER TOTS and off the menu ghost pepper sauce!

This place is so worth the money and time to spend when getting better than fast food style burgers! Being a midwesterner makes me feel like I'm in white castle but I'm getting so much better!

Kaley who is manning the register has no sense of customer service. Very inconsistent. She greeted the guest before and after me. But didn't greet me, not even a simple hello. I basically just told her my order she didn't ask me anything else or if I wanted or needed anything else. I had to do all the asking on my own. All workers are wearing masks that covers up to their noses, but not her. Her mask is actually hanging below her bottom lip. What's the point/purpose? It's not too busy, but busy enough. The wait for food is ridiculous. I had time to pop on over to Ulta, stand in that line, and make a purchase, come back and food still isn't ready. ‍ Food wasn't all that great. It was mediocre at best. The burger is just a burger. The edges were too dry. Onion rings were onion rings. Nothing spectacular. I actually really regret ordering the salad. The chicken was dry and extra burnt. This was the first time I tried this place and honestly won't be coming back or order anything from here again.

Wayback Burgers- International Chain- Titusville, FL 4 Stars Glancing down once again in disbelief, I double-checked the name of my next location as it appeared on my random place generator. Yep. It said, "Wayback Burgers." I scratched my head in wonderment. I had no idea that Mr. Peabody and Sherman had started a burger chain, but here we are. While they actually have nothing to do with that beloved cartoon of my youth, they have been around since my youth with beginnings in 1991. From a modest start to an international chain in about 20 years is some success story, so I figured they can't be all that bad. As I entered the place, I was greeted with a warm welcome and we picked a table. Trey was working the front of the house, the back of the house, the side of the house, underneath the house and was a tad stressed as he is alone. I guess that worker shortage is real. Trey was perhaps a bit out of sorts, but he held himself together with professionalism and soldiered through. For a fast-food type of place, their menu wasn't anything to write home about, but I didn't find it lacking either. From burgers to sandwiches and chicken along with hot dogs and self-proclaimed hand-dipped milkshakes and salads for the rabbit crowd, I was sure they had everyone covered. I asked Trey for one Rodeo Burger (medium rare) and Cheeeesy (their spelling, not mine) Burger, also medium-rare. As Trey retreated to the back of the house to prepare my order, I was left with some "mulling time." As I was pontificating on the employment shortage and about to solve it for everybody, Trey returned with my order. Maybe next time I will solve the myriad of problems facing our country, right now, though, it's time to get my grub on. As you can see from the pictures, Trey certainly executed the order with aplomb and a certain amount of panache. Everything looked immensely scarf-worthy. First up on the Big Boy's discerning method of delivery was the Rodeo Burger. This is a two-patty beast of Texas delight, oozing with a tangy BBQ sauce and blanketed with two slices of melted cheddar cheese topped off with what I can only describe as crispy rings on oniony goodness (their signature onion rings). One bite and my choppers immediately went into a line dance of tangy choreography. The combination of flavors was a true delight on the palate. The sauce had just the right amount of tanginess to remind one it was BBQ, but not enough heat to bury the tastiness of the beef, onion and cheese. Moving on to the Cheeeesy burger, I was expecting this to be meh. I mean, honestly, it's a cheeseburger. How different can it be from the thousands of others I have shoved in my pie whole over the decades? Well, quite actually. With four slices of pasteurized American Cheese product melted amongst two all-beef, hand-formed burgers served on a buttered inverted bun this was by far one of the coolest Cheese anything I have had in a very long time. I found the inverted bun added a newness to it that was delightful. The Big Boy says, "Fast food or not, this place has the bomb burgers!"

I just had Irish Nachos. The chips were nice and crispy, but I think there were too many onions. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The burger was a little dry and the fries were over cooked. I might give them another try.

I ordered their lunch special Philly cheese steak 8 inch with fries for $18.50. The Philly cheese steak was seasoned to perfection. That being said the bread could've been fresher, It was chewy, the fries were standard, but cooked well. The person that served me my food & brought out my order was average/fair. I walked away with no feeling one way or the other about the service. My opinion is, I don't feel like I really got value for my money. The reason being, is because with the sandwich, I got no mayonnaise no lettuce, no tomato no pickles. It was a straight sandwich with no extras. Meat and bread. When I asked for extra onions, I was told it was gonna be an additional $1.50. I really couldn't even tell there was cheese on my sandwich . With all of that being said, the Philly cheese steak itself with the seasonings could have been a real showstopper with a little bit more love when preparing and giving the food. Maybe with some mayonnaise and lettuce and tomato help brighten the sandwich. It would be great! And fresh Bread. I would've walked away feeling like I paid for freshest fixings and a great cook on the Philly steak. Room for improvement.

Unfortunately, though, our experience was less than pleasant. The guy working was nice and friendly, which I appreciated. However, about a third of the menu was unavailable. He explained that they were in the process of changing the menu, but it was still disappointing since several of the unavailable items were actually the reason we decided to stop in. We ended up ordering a Philly cheesesteak, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and a plain burger. The food was perfectly okay -- nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing that stood out either. Unfortunately, there were several other little issues that added up. The soda machine seemed to be off, and the Coke tasted very strange. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner, with crumbs and other debris in the booths. The food came in little baskets without silverware, which is understandable given the type of food, but every napkin dispenser we checked was empty, so there wasn't even a convenient way to wipe your hands. The bathrooms also had no soap or paper towels, which was especially disappointing. Overall, the food was edible and the employee was friendly, but the combination of the limited menu, cleanliness issues, empty napkin dispensers, and lack of bathroom supplies made this a pretty inconvenient and unpleasant experience. Hopefully some of these things were simply due to them being in the middle of a menu transition, but based on our visit, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

I tried the Philly cheesesteak on both occasions and I feel that something is off. On the first trip, I felt that the bread seems doughy and the meat to cheese ratio is off where there was too much cheese. The steak was chewy and different have must flavor that I'm used of tasting from a cheesesteak. In trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and believing that the experience was a bit off since this was carry out order and I didn't eat it right away, I decided to wait a bit before trying this place again. On the second trip, I ordered the same thing and paid extra to make it a hoagie (adding lettuce and tomatoes). I must say that I feel some kind a way about having to order extra for lettuce and tomatoes, but that was the choice I made. Instead of waiting, I decided to take a bite immediately when I got to my car. The bread was still too doughy for my liking and i feel there was too much cheese to make the sandwich too chewy. I tasted the meat separately and found the flavor lacking. In the end, I tossed the rest of the sandwich in the trash. So, I tried this place a couple of times and can't say I would go back for a third trip.
