Annoying as heck. Hours are stated until 8pm (Saturday night no less). We show up at 7:45, and they have all chairs stacked, and we're told "we turn off the grill at 7:30." Then you're CLOSED at 7:30. Or earlier. whenever you've stopped taking orders is when you're closed. I've worked in food service for many years. This is pure idiocy. Change your stated hours. We were looking for a quick stop for launch in Titusville and stumbled on this place - so glad we did! A nice little place with a few tables (lots of takeout traffic while we were there!). As an Army brat, I love that the owners are veterans (as are their two sons!) and the decor includes a wall of honor for service members from all branches (as well as first responders). All the food looks delicious and we look forward to coming back and trying the wings and burgers, but hubs and I opted for the cheesesteaks (one beef and one chicken) on this visit. Both my husband and I being retired law-enforcement, and also having kids in the military decided to check out heroes Grill!! Cute place with a small market/butcher attached to it!!! all the fresh meat looked amazing. The food was good! We had chicken wings to go along with a burger. I went there for my 30 min lunch I was recommended by my co workers not to mention I'm 6 months pregnant. I was there my entire break waiting for my food that I never got and when the girls in the front ask the guy in the kitchen how long for my 6 piece wing he made a slick comment. I requested my money back because I was clearly late from my break. they took almost 10 minutes to give me my change back and no one apologized nor was I accommodated for the issue! This place is good food, good vibes, with great people running it. The restaurant is also connected to a meat market and a juice bar/fruit/convenience store. We had two steak phillies and one chicken philly, all were juicy and the bread was so soft. The employees were so so nice and helpful, bringing us sides of terriyaki and anything we needed. I have nothing against them, as I was once a first responder myself. However, like everyone else, they deserve good food, which has yet to be found in such establishments (though that's about to change, but I digress). If I didn't review restaurants, I would never go to a place that prioritizes one segment of the population over another. Most of these places shamelessly try to wrap themselves in patriotism, making non-"patriots" feel ashamed. It gives off the same vibe as any hollow act of virtue signaling. The owner, Leshawn, works at the front counter. She is an exceptionally charming lady with excellent customer service skills. She deals with her patrons impeccably and is a true "people person." I asked Lovely Leshawn for a Cheesesteak with jalapenos and a Gyro burger. At this point, a toothless Titusvillian attempted to correct my proper pronunciation of Gyro (in Greek, the "G" is silent, so the word is pronounced as Yee-rrrrrro, with a rolled "r"), using the incorrect pronunciation of Gyro (as hero), and then proceeded to mock me for it. Leshawn, with the calmness of the eye of a hurricane, informed the misguided octogenarian that I did pronounce it correctly. Vindication is a beautiful feeling. Hey, I've been divorced a few times; it's not often that a woman admits I'm right. Anyway, the Cheesesteak with jalapenos was outstanding. The bread was soft, the meat was tasty and seasoned with a decoction that instantly transported my taste buds to the City of Brotherly Love. The jalapenos added just enough kick to remind me that this was not your average Cheesesteak. Finding such flavorful and authentic food this far down the Eastern Seaboard was a delightful surprise. As delightful as the Cheesesteak was on the palate, the Gyro burger fell completely and utterly flat. It was enjoyable, but lacked seasoning. The bun was soft and fresh, and the tomato and lettuce were fine. The meat was perfectly cooked, although it lacked the distinct Gyro flavor. Best fries ever! They were hot, crispy but soft inside. They had enough salt seasoning that was not overwhelming. Pulled pork is more chopped than pulled but good seasoning and moist. BBQ sauce was thick and sweet. I like it that way. Carolina sauce is vinegar and spices. It is thin but great tasty sauce. Chicken was sliced thin and not chunky! Having family in Titusville and always eating at the same restaurants, I decided to see if there were any new restaurants that we have not been too. A quick Yelp check and found this restaurant. Walking inside we were helped by an older black lady, I am going to assume she is the owner. While deciding what to eat, she was overly helpful encouraging us to take our time and ask questions so that we could be satisfied with what we wanted. We had some questions as what to eat and the flavor, which she had absolutely no problem answering everything we asked. She was very polite and helpful. We ordered subsequently a little bit of everything off of the menu. The wings were great, the Philly cheesesteak was excellent, and so was the pork sandwich. If I had to give this place a negative it was that there are only a few tables on the inside, so if you come during rush time, you might not get a seat. If you ask me if that would stop me from returning, absolutely not as the food was better than expected! Forgot to mention, they are supporters of our military and first responders.
