Why is Brevard County sleeping on this place? We popped in…read moretonight for an early dinner and were surprised to only find one other couple there. (Glad to report several more arrived in the time we were there.) The place is adorable, clean and well lit. We ordered several items the hush puppies, garden salad with grilled chicken, the Florida Heat Lobster Roll, and the Connecticut Lobster Roll. The rolls came with fries, baked beans and Coleslaw. We enjoyed everything! The baked beans were Boston style and flavorful. The coleslaw was vinegar based - the way I like it. The rolls were perfect. Misty was our server. She was just attentive enough. Sometimes when restaurants are slow servers will over do it and she was great. She helped us with our selections. The food came fast and hot. I highly recommend this place. We weren't drinking tonight but they also have happy hour M-F.

I was a little disappointed here. I ordered their Maine Lobster Roll. It consisted of cold Maine…read moreLobster mixed with Mayo. It came with fries, Boston baked beans, and coleslaw ($25.95). I ordered a Big Wave for my drink ($5.50). I sat at the bar and my server, Hannah, was polite and pleasant as well as extremely efficient. She had my drink within a minute of ordering and checked on me throughout my meal. The inside is decorated with interesting colors and artwork. It's an inviting place and would be a great place for groups. My Lobster Roll meal came out in a timely manner and looked very good. However unfortunately, there wasn't much taste to it. It was extremely dry. I did order a gluten free bun so maybe that was the problem? Anyway, I was not impressed. The beans, coleslaw, and fries were very good.

They strike the perfect balance of refinement while still offering a warm and approachable dining experience. You immediately feel immersed in old world charm as you enter the European style courtyard. With string lights overhead and the gentle sounds of the fountain flowing, a dinner reservation becomes a small getaway. You can dine al fresco in the romantic courtyard or be seated in one of the three uniquely exquisite dining rooms. The atmosphere is elegant and modern and the service is always exceptional. The tomato bisque is a singular dish that has not been topped in my years of avid soup-eating. Truly, I. Love. Soup. And this is simply the best there is. The house salad with goat cheese, baked Brie, seasonal fish melange, and key lime pie are a few other favorites, among many! If you're looking to dine with a delicious cocktail (the Snow White Cosmo is my go-to) or extensive options of wines, Cafe Margaux is the place. This restaurant has been the backdrop to many a special life celebration filled with outstanding, memorable flavors and incredible service. Each visit leaves you ready to plan your next meal there. It is a local gem that we're so lucky to have in our little corner of the world. Truly the best in Brevard!

Nice ambiance and love the location of this place. I also appreciated being greeted by the manager…read moreof the restaurant which always tells me things are well managed. We spent a little over $300 for dinner for 2 adults and 1 child and the food was prepared well and tasted amazing. We ordered the Baked Brie and scallops which was the best 2 bites of the meal. Everything else was excellent just these 2 really stood out. Tomato bisque was incredible along with the lamb. The wife ordered the mahi mahi which was the special of the day and unfortunately was seriously overcooked. I figured this was a special and not something they cook regularly hence not having complete mastering of preparing this fish. Here are my only comments for why I gave a 4 star vs 5 star: 1. The portions are huge and normally this shouldn't be a problem but the chef would do better to cut the portions literally by 50%. By the time the entree came along I was already stuffed since everything was super yummy and I couldn't really stop eating. The sides were absolutely enormous for each dish lol. 2. Service was very good but I wish someone would've came around to clean up the crumbs on the table top. Also, the plates were large due to portions which made it very difficult to fit all the servings on the table. I would recommend using a plate riser to fix this issue or make the portions smaller and use smaller plates. We had a problem with having enough room on the table. 3. Our server was super nice and awesome. It must've been a shift change and I saw her leave and didn't let us know so I wasn't sure how best to tip since I really appreciated her service. I would hope next time to let patrons know this so we can take care of staff accordingly during a shift change. Also on another side note, I love lamb chops and unsure how the chef prepared it but somehow was able to mask the full taste of lamb. This is neither a positive or negative just an observation and personal preference. I tend to enjoy the taste of lamb while others may not. I have to laud the skill of the chef for their skill in doing so since this was a 1st time experience for me for not being able to taste distinct lamb flavor in lamb chops. Altogether a memorable experience and my critique is based on attention to detail which I feel this restaurant would've been perfect if these 3 items fell better into place for us. The quality of food and price for the portions blew us away in a positive way and even though we spent $300 on dinner we thought this was very reasonable given the large portions and quality ingredients and yummy cocktails.
