Jersey Physical Therapy in Plainsboro is by far the best PT shop I have ever been to!! As a former college athlete and avid participant in Adults sports activities, I've had my far share of injuries which required that I get PT. All the staff at the new facility in Plainsboro make you feel at ease from the minute you walk in for your first visit. Because the equipment is new, you don't have to worry about it breaking down or not working. The staff do an excellent job of scheduling patients so there is no wait to use any of the equipment. The office has very flexible hours and offers late night appointments a few times during the week to accommodate most patient's schedules. Moreover the team is up-to-date on the latest technologies and therefore they keep all the patients' routines on an iPad. This is great as it allows any staff member to keep a patient's routine consistent, even if you change the day or time you come in for your appointment!! (Gloria H shouldn't make assumptions without all the facts...next time you probably should just ask). The team is very attentive and doesn't give every patient a cookie cutter routine. Each routine is tailored to the specific needs of the patient based on a very thorough initial assessment. But more importantly, a patient's individual routine evolves and is customized to meet your current needs. The staff don't just leave you on your own during treatment like some PT facilities I have been to. At Jersey PT they make sure you are doing the exercises correctly to maximize the benefits. Even the home routine sent out via email after the initial assessment changes based on the goals that you and the staff set for your recovery. The office gives out such a friendly vibe that most patients interact with one another as we complete our treatment regiment. Jenna, Marc and Sean and all the other staff members are patient, kind and very knowledgeable in their specialty area. They provide very detailed status reports to your doctors in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the physical therapy I had with Marc and Jenna. The Plainsboro office is located close to my home. I was impressed with Marc Rubenstein when he evaluated me and talked to me about setting realistic treatment goals. We developed a plan for exercises to do at home in addition to my treatment in the office. When I had physical therapy, Marc and Jenna treated me like I was their only patient. They listened to what I had to say and worked with me. They are interested in how I am feeling, am I in pain, and what can they do to help me. I highly recommend Jersey PT. This past fall after trying several weeks of conservative treatment for my shoulder pain I ultimately chose to have surgery in April. Working primarily with Dr. Mark Rubenstein and on occasion Lindsey I recovered quickly from my surgery. The office is clean and the staff is professional, it is not a PT factory like many other PT providers in the area. Great physical therapy facility. Everyone here was very kind and helpful, from the receptionists to the therapists and PT assistants. It is a small office but it has everything you need and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. The PT is very hands on and you know that you are getting the best care possible. I went here for almost 2 months after ACL and Meniscus repair and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
