I didn't let that bother me to much. Because he was professional and was able to communicate to me on a blue collar level. He reconstructed my ankle back with 12 screws and 3 plates with a wink of an eye and was able to run right out to my car afterwards. The Dr. who came in was Dr Bills, he answered all of our questions quickly and was out the door, the nurses took over and were very helpful. From first impressions it seemed like the place is busy and they could use more staff. I hope they pay those nurses well because it truly shows how the nurses are the ones who take the patients on more so than the doctors themselves. The front desk lady who we had spoken with Ms Logan, was extremely helpful, answered a lot of our questions that we had as we were "self pay" customers. Thank you for the nurses Mel & for Ms Logan's help and support in navigating through what seemed like a stressful situation/time for us. Cons: waiting time Tip: bring your patience with you and understand the nurses are doing their best to get to everyone, it is not their fault! Giving a 3 star rating because as a place of "business" and a place where a lot of people come they should employ more nurses/doctors that would help run the place more smoothly and more efficiently. Before my first visit, I requested them to give me an estimate of the cost. They estimated the cost to be $75 each for the first two visits and $20 for the third visit onwards. I had 5 visits and expected the bill to be roughly $210. But I received a bill of more than $500. I called them and asked how can the actual cost be so much more than the estimate. They said "Oh---that was an estimate". I said "Given that your estimate is less than 50% of the actual, can you take responsibility and give me a discount?" They said "You signed papers that stated that you are responsible for all costs. We can't give you any discount." Thus, they lured me in by giving me a lowball estimate and extracted $500 without really doing much. If you have a lot of extra money, then go ahead to Ivy. Otherwise, look for a better place with more honest and sympathetic people.

The problem is that they don't tell you these are discrete charges or that you should check with your insurance. Moral of the story is that this provider is trying to charge for all possible billable service and that potential clients need to check before visiting here. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
