Now let me first say that this place was recommended by a friend, so I was excited to try it. Spent 4 hours at a car dealership shopping for new wheels. By the time we left, the kids were hungry and wanted a chain wing place. No way! Yelp! To the rescue. I'm a huge wings guy always will be so you don't forget restaurants but lately i don't know if it's under new management or management has gone slack on staff but wings have been sub-par and not how they used to be and portions have downsized. Asked for Dano which I've known to be medium garlic teriyaki. Well have no clue if it's wait staff not writing order correct or cooks in back not correctly making the orders. Tonight wings tasted like straight medium with a slight hint of teriyaki 0 minced garlic to be found. And where's the sauce that used to be at bottom of basket non existent now I guess ‍. And last visit was so horrible wings were like double fried and burnt to a crisp no amount of sauce could fix It and had order remade two more times each progressively worse. I was in the line at the register between 12:15-12:30 approx. with blue shirt and had to listen to the cashier tell her wax story before she even acknowledged me to ring me up for the sandwiches ordered. Not only was it not the right conversation to have in front of customers, but at least let the customer know you notice them. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and caught up, and thankfully they did not limit our party to any certain number: we all sat together and enjoyed each other's company without disturbing anyone else. We opted for a 1/2 order of steak fries with cheese sauce. Yum! We also had poppers. They were good. Service was okay. Prices decent. A little nickel and diming. 50 cents for the ranch dressing my daughter wanted for her fries. $1.50 for blue cheese and celery. (Not so presentable) Furthermore, the wings WOW just speechless as this was another favorite, and clearly the flavor did not compare in addition to being skinny, and over over fried as well. So after spending $65.00 my party of 3 was not fulfill. I made my comments to the waitress which she responded with an apology, and said she gets a lot of the same comments, and the place does not get as packed as is used too. We have been eating at Jersey's for a long time..several years. This place is an institution! The food is always consistent and perfect! I am motivated to write this review because not only is the food always good but the Jersey's folks are extremely honest...my wife left her wallet there and we discovered it missing three days later. After years of making the 25 minute drive toPembroke Pines, for the first time in 11 years we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I've been on a strict diet for the last month and after a solid workout, I couldn't wait to have some Dano wings to chow down on. First, we are seated and we are asked what we wanted to drink. We simply asked for water. My boyfriend was looking at the beer selection and decided that he was going to pass due to the poor selection on the menu. When the waitress arrives with the water, we are immediately ready to order the usual: 25 wings roughly half Dano and half extra hot. The waitress responds telling us that they no longer can split a 25 wing order with two sauces, and they can only do it with 50. Finally we ordered our food and poof she was gone again. I believe her name was Ingrid B according to the receipt. Finally our food arrived and we had to flag her down to order extra sauce, my food was cold by the time she got to us. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a chicken caesar wrap, the wrap didn't even taste Caesar like it was just fried chicken and lettuce. My husband ordered 10 grilled wings, and Monday's are their 60cent wing night, the wings seemed small not much meat. Our friend ordered wings as well, hot wings with celery and blue cheese, she only gave my husband the celery and blue cheese and forgot our friends. After we finished my husband wanted to order 6 more wings and the waitress told him they didn't do that and he could only get 10. Which makes no sense because the menu states otherwise. Monday nights being their 60cent wings night we didn't expect to get a $68 dollar bill. She charged us full price for my husbands wings both times. The food was mediocre for the price we paid and the service was disgusting. Not a friendly waitress in site, not a smile, not a "how's everything over here," like I don't expect much when going out but have the common decency to tend to your table and do your job. I would not recommend this place they definitely need to hire some better help because this was sad.
