This was my first visit to Miramar WOB and it did not disappoint! I have been to many other locations. They have a great selection of local craft beers on draft, and the happy hour appetizers on special were a great bonus. Many type bottles of beer from other countries are available for purchase. It's the perfect spot to stop in for a refreshing ice-cold beer to cool off . My favorite beer was the Copperpoint Amber Lager! It was served in a chilled glass and had a balanced fresh malt German style flavor. Loved the German pretzel with mustard and margarita flatbread. The service was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The interior had a nice set up and is very spacious. The location is in a great area and it was such a fun place to go to break up the week. Don't forget to sign up with the WOB app and check in every time to earn points for $5 off and free food items. The girls working the floor were friendly and doing their best, but the problems here go way beyond them. This feels like a corporate issue, not a staff issue. The food was cooked in seed oils, which already kills the quality and flavor. You can taste the heaviness and the cheapness. For a place that markets itself as a craft‑beer spot with elevated bar food, that's unacceptable. Then the check came and that's where it got worse. Corporate is nickel and diming customers with extra charges, little add‑ons that don't go to the servers and don't improve the experience. It feels sneaky, and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth before you even walk out. The staff is paying the price for decisions they didn't make. They're trying to be nice, but the system they're working under is broken. Overall: Good people, terrible corporate practices, low quality cooking oils, and a bill padded with nonsense. I stopped by World of Beer recently and had a really good experience. The vibe in there was great--laid back, good energy, and just a nice spot to hang out and grab some food and drinks. The ambiance was really solid and the service was great. Our server was friendly and gave some good recommendations. For food, I ordered the birria quesadilla and the Voodoo Cajun pasta with chicken and shrimp. Both were really good, but the Voodoo Cajun pasta was definitely my favorite. It had a nice Cajun kick and the chicken and shrimp combo worked perfectly together. Super flavorful and honestly one of the better pasta dishes I've had at a place like this. The birria quesadilla was also really good crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. I also tried two beers that were recommended, including an IPA, and both were great choices. WOB is a great spot for after work happy hours. Their menus constantly change with new happy hour specials on food and beer. Given the name, they do have a large variety of beer to choose from. Taste before purchase is allowed! The food is that of the usual tavern/sports bar quality. The wait staff here are mostly teenagers so service does tend to be a bit spotty. Since the Key West WOB closed a few years ago, this World of Beer is the furthest southern location in Florida. The Miramar Park Place parking lot is shared by other restaurants and retail establishments although had adequate spaces available. An overwhelming feeling of warmth is provided by the heavy wood decor. It was happy hour and we took a seat at the bar with a close up visual of a line of wall beer taps including a cooler of bottled and canned craft beer. WOB does not brew their own beer but offers craft beer from local and big brand brewers. The bartender, Emily, was a ray of light, and made our one hour visit entertaining. Ordered a Barrel of Monks Single in Havana Belgian Blonde which had a low alcohol content of 4.5% but was cold and refreshing. She served us a cup of chili containing black angus beef and chorizo steak, which was excellent and had a nice mild spicy kick. Took a sampler of the 3Sons Peanut Butter & Jelly Sour which was superb and will order on my next visit here. There were half wooden beer barrels on the wall surrounding the entrance to the gender assigned bathrooms. The men's bathroom had a gold flaked granite sink counter with gray slate type flooring. 1/5 -- Very Disappointing Experience We went to World of Beer in Miramar last night for dinner, a party of four, and our bill was over $200. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from beginning to end. The food arrived cold, and even more concerning, our instructions regarding food allergies were not followed. Our sodas didn't even arrive until after we had already finished our appetizers. Service was extremely poor, and we weren't the only ones unhappy--the table next to us was also complaining about their experience. For the amount of money we spent, the quality of the food and service was completely unacceptable. Looking back, we probably should have taken the hint when we arrived on a Saturday night and the restaurant was practically empty. If you want to avoid bad food, poor service, and spending over $200 only to leave disappointed, I would recommend going somewhere else. We definitely will not be returning. read more

I'm not sure why the service was slow, but once our food came out the service became better. We got the flat bread from the happy hour menu. I wasn't a fan of it, but the burger was really good. It was well cooked like how I ordered. It was missing the onions and tomatoes I ordered but once I let the waitress know, the cook came out and gave me the missing items. He was so nice and apologized for the mistake. It's a pretty decent happy hour menu with food options and lots of alcohol to choose from. The bar area is huge, lots of seating inside and out. The food is average and not consistent. The service is the main issue. They have maybe two servers to cover the floor and either those servers need to visit the tables more or they need another server. There were times when I would have ordered another drink, but there was no one in sight for 20-30 min. It's even a process to find someone to get the check. With better training, more staff to they could possibly get more repeat customers. In close proximity to a Flanagans which may also be an issue. The Manager did respond, but if you look at older reviews, the bad service is a pattern. If you provide adequate training and the staff is not following thru, then it's time for other options. read more

This is my second time here at World of Beer! They have a good variety of drinks and foods. My co-workers and I went after work for their happy hour which is from 4-7pm Monday through Friday. What a great ambiance and a fun spot this is! So they have a Facebook page where they announce the events they keep doing... and there I found a May the fourth event for today only! They even came up with a very cute menu for it, and all the tv screens were playing the Star Wars movie... and the background music was ... you guessed it: themed Star Wars !! Well that's just today so we did order a drink from their fun Star Wars menu and my drink had sparkles! My partner ordered a beer flight (from their normal menu) and some chicken sliders that were delicious, and I ordered Vader Taters that were just OK but went with the theme so I was happy! My husband and I used to love this location and became regulars at some point the whole staff changed and it seems the floor service is lacking training. A quick lunch turns into an hour or more. I witnessed several guests physically walk up to a server with their card because they have to go and it's not like the place was busy. I also wanna add that there was a DJ for a brunch on Sunday, which is totally fine, but the speakers were pointed out toward the main area and it was extremely loud to the point where it was piercing and physically painful. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!! I'd heard about this place a couple of years ago and initially was not interested because of the name alone as I do not drink. I need everything crispy and the kitchen staff did not disappoint! This is one of the newer locations of WoB and marks the first time I've been to a WoB in years (previously there other privately-run WoB in SoFla, these are much better run, with way more selection, and a solid kitchen). From the moment I walked up to the door to the moment I left, the staff was friendly, warm, and helpful.
