Oh, to be young again! Jesse's toys in Orange, Connecticut can make anyone feel like a child again. There is a phenomenal selection of toys for children of all ages and interests. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. As an adult, I could spend hours checking out all the new arrivals. It was challenging to pick the right items for the different ages on my list. Hopefully the items chosen will be appreciated and enjoyed for many hours. There is also plenty of accessible parking right in front of the shop. read more

Have been going to Jesse's for several years. and recently needed to buy gifts for children of different ages. The owner took the time to listen to my needs, showed me a variety of options and even gave me a quick lesson on how to play each game. Each gift was wrapped and marked so I could tell which gift for which child. The shop is clean, well organized and just plain fun. Absolutely worth slightly higher prices and the kids were thrilled! What a great store! You will not believe how many really great toys are packed into this store. My friend and I went to buy toys for our grandsons and ended up playing at a table in the back with some really cool puzzle toys for so long we joked they were going to ask us to leave. But they didn't and our grandsons got some really great toys. The prices are not Amazon low, but come on! You get to see, feel and even play with some of the toys there. It's nice that this place is around, it's so hard to find a store simply dedicated to toys and not just a department store that happens to have toys. They have legos and barbies and stuffed animals, but more importantly they have all kinds of interest based toys almost separated by category. This place was a lifesaver during the holidays. I give it four stars only because the prices weren't very competitive but they gotta make their money somehow which is understandable in today's market. read more

I buy so much stuff online that I practically have a cardboard box on my doorstep everyday but when I comes to buying toys, I would never go any where else but Jesse's. The staff is AMAZING. I also go in and tell him what weird and vague interest my child has at that stage and they always help me find something special. Their selection is unique and the toys promote creative play.
