After years of terrible experiences, I was at the point where I had been procrastinating and fearful of trying to find another doctor. I had been having a variety of health issues, both gynecological and with my kidneys, and I had learned to live with the pain. Dr. Yee showed empathy and concern and provided thorough and thoughtful care -not by just doing the physical examinations and tests, but by taking the time to really talk to me about my health history and what I had been experiencing. She provided a plan and followed up consistently. She referred me when I needed surgery, and helped me when no one, not even a specialist could complete a biopsy. And she listened when I said that I experienced pain the last time and the other doctor dismissed me and said I didn't need pain relief for a procedure because it would be painless, quick and easy. Dr. Yee assured me she could provide some additional measures to numb me and make me as comfortable as possible. I could have cried - to have a doctor who listens and cares this much about their patients is a rare find. Dr. Yee's care resulted in my eventual diagnosis of several issues I was unaware of and needed surgery for. I am now 4 months post op and I just know when I return to Dr. Yee for my future care she will be just as attentive and focused on my experience as she was the last time. I whole heartedly believe that God put Dr Bergman in my path when I needed the most caring, knowledgeable, amazing Dr I've ever had. I originally had an appointment with a different Dr for my first Ob appointment but she was not available when I was having some early issues. Dr Bergman fit me in for an emergency appointment to check on my baby. She is so caring and I really felt I needed to switch to her and I am so very glad I did. Even though I have already had my baby I wish I could come back to see her as my regular primary Dr! Throughout my entire pregnancy she was there to answer my questions and concerns. Even on her day off she would call me when I had the flu to prescribe me medication and answer all my question. She also made sure she saw me even after her office closed one day because I thought my water had broke and ended up being induced that day. She came in the next day to deliver my baby even though it was her weekend! (Which is not always the case, I've herd many many stories of women delivering with the on call Dr) Even my husband who could not come to any of my appointments due to Covid right off the bad took note of how caring and hard working of a Dr she is when we went to the hospital together. I saw Dr. Oko and I was only five weeks pregnant... Usually…read morepeople have to wait and if they feel that there's a problem, and they're told to go to the emergency room. But he had a beautiful open schedule and I saw him when I was seeing some concerning discharge and blood. He is Young beautiful doctor. With beautiful caring eyes. My experience with being pregnant in the past has not been pleasant. I come to him after having three miscarriages in the past year; Therefore he is dealing with someone who is paranoid, extra cautious, and at this point I am doubtful. Before him I had Dr. Wada... Who at every single appointment would only tell me that I really need to get a Covid shot for the greater good... he even told me this after my miscarriage. At my five week appointment Dr. Oko never mentioned it. I was relieved. I was prepared and I had my guard up to hear the same push for Covid vaccines, but he did not do that to me. He only patiently listened to each and every experience I had on every miscarriage. Typically people do not get abdominal ultrasounds when they are so early along in a pregnancy. But I'm kind of scared to get a vaginal ultrasound, because my last miscarriage the baby measured out to the exact same weeks and day as the size when I discovered the baby was no longer living. Coincidence? Maybe... but like I said I am now paranoid. Dr. Oko said he would try the abdominal first. He saw on the screen everything he needed to see including the heartbeat. Because of you so small I told him I don't see the heartbeat how do you see it and his response was "I have trainEd eyes" he then made it so that the screen would show the heartbeat... I cried happy tears. (Again, comparing, Dr. Wada refused to do an abdominal when I was nine weeks pregnant... he wouldn't even try the abdominal first. ) I feel that Dr. Oko is a very caring, sincere, doctor. He scheduled me to come back in two weeks. That day is today. And I am excited to now go to his office. I am so glad that he's been assigned as my doctor. He told me he's going to do his best to bring me my rainbow baby. As many of my rainbows have faded away. He deserves this five star review. I hope after everyone hears how great he is, his schedule does not fill up and become too busy, because I lived how available he was when I felt I needed to go to the office right then and there. But if you have struggled with losses, and have felt that your doctor didn't truly feel sad for you, you are going to want your next pregnancy in the care of Dr. Oko.

Dr. Susan Adham is truly one of a kind! When I had my son…read morein June, he was only 5 lbs 1 oz and had blood sugar issues, so his circumcision was delayed. Dr. Adham was out, so we first saw Dr. Hill -- she was polite but very by-the-book. She told me to fortify bottles for weight gain and said "formula is perfectly fine," but it didn't feel supportive of my breastfeeding goals or include a plan to get back to exclusive nursing. Two weeks later, we saw Dr. Adham and the difference was night and day. She celebrated my son's weight gain, supported my breastfeeding journey, and truly listened. When I asked about circumcision, she caught something everyone else missed -- a curvature called chordee -- and referred us to a urologist. He'll need surgery, and had she not noticed, it could've caused major issues later. She's compassionate, thorough, and genuinely cares. We're so grateful for her!

You can tell she genuinely LOVES her work and loves babies. Let me start by saying that I am a worry wart when it comes to certain things and my baby is one of them. I am constantly worrying about whether everything is normal and on track with my little one. Dr. Adham is VERY personable, thorough, and engaging. She does not rush you out of the exam room and gives you as much time as needed. She is also patient in answering all my new mommy questions. My only gripe is with the appointment call center and front office staff. I wish there was better organization. For example, I called to make an appointment about 3 weeks in advance. The day before the appointment I called to confirm my appointment and was told I was all confirmed and ready. Later that afternoon I received a call from the front desk staff needing to switch her appointment to 1 hour later. Although this is not a big deal ... this seems to be a common problem within this office and therefore should be improved. I'm looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Dr. Adham for all my baby health needs ... she is the best!!

We live in Oakley and my pregnancies have been high risk where I need lots of monitoring. I was coming biweekly while also getting biweekly scans at DVP. So having a location close to home cut down my trips to Walnut Creek. All the staff and doctors have been so amazing in our journey with our last miracle baby. Dr Hughes delivered our boy via C-section. It was a great experience even though our boy had complications. I did develop a reaction to the surgical glue that resulted in an infection, but I was well taken care of by dr. Hughes.
