Wow! Some of the freshest ingredients in the area. A family run Jem. I travel 20 minutes to go here for lunch and always worth the drive!

Beef brisket only available once a week. I tried the sub and I'd rather go to Subway for a similar sandwich.

We had come here on a Sunday at around 11:30 am for an early lunch. We had never been here before…read moretherefore, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this restaurant was. It caters more to the sports crowd however, there were some tables off to the side in which were catered to those with smaller children, which was where we were seated. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a kind server, that brought us to our table, and allowed us ample time to choose our menu items. I had settled on the butter chicken with rice and naan, while my son had the mini sliders with fries, my daughter had the kids' mac 'n cheese, and my mother had the fish tacos with nachos. I really enjoyed the butter chicken; the taste was excellent however, there were too many onions. I found that most of the butter chicken dish was overpowered with onions, which I didn't like. However, after scooping the onions away, it tasted great! I loved how the dish included rice and naan, such a great addition, and there was a lot of it as well! My daughter's mac 'n cheese was straight from the box, and was a tad expensive for what was given to her. We found some of the food items to be a bit pricey, especially for the children's menu however, the food was quite delicious, and the service was top-notch! The only issue was the parking, as there are many condos in the area, and finding parking is hard, even early in the morning. I will definitely give this place another try however, I may park at Square One and walk the next time.

This restaurant is fortunate it has an incredible location, and honestly, that's what keeps people…read morecoming back. Unfortunately, the experience behind the scenes tells a very different story. The biggest issue isn't the staff as they work hard and do the best they can under difficult circumstances. The real problem is a lack of support from management. The restaurant often appears understaffed, and scheduling doesn't seem to provide employees with the help they need during busy periods. Even more concerning is how management handles abusive patrons. I've witnessed customers become verbally abusive and borderline physically intimidating toward bartenders and servers. From what I've observed, this has contributed to high staff turnover. On more than one occasion, I've seen employees leave in tears while managers were nowhere to be found or appeared to avoid dealing with the situation. The fact that loyal regular customers have had to step in to calm situations and support staff speaks volumes. Employees should never have to rely on patrons to help keep situations under control or to feel safe at work. This business has tremendous potential because of its prime location, but "location, location, location" will only carry it so far. Dear management: it's time to step up. Support your employees, ensure they have adequate staffing, and create a safe, respectful environment for both staff and guests. Your team deserves better, and so do your customers.

It is winter so it should be assumed we have coats. There were no coat hooks or coat check....surprising for such a beautiful and upscale place. The coats crowded our seats. They were kind enough to accommodate my need for water with meals by leaving a kettle with water for me. They do not leave jugs but our server, Snow, replenished the water for others regularly.. she was friendly, helpful and funny. Since I need vegan and gluten free the only items I could have were the salad without feta, yellow dal without ghee and plain rice. The fam loved the Afghan chicken tikka and paneer item they ordered. My dal was made without ghee as requested but was on the spicy side. The fam shared the chocolate cake and rabri desserts but zero vegan/gluten free dessert items. The decor is lovely and everyone was very professional. The meal was very expensive....well over $400 for 1 alcohol drink, 2 mocktails, 3 apps, 3 mains with 2 rice, 2naan and 1 parantha and 2 desserts. Hopefully you get Snow as your server as she was a delight. There was no DJs or live entertainment the night we went but they do have it on certain nights. It got very busy while we were there with folks of all ages. You can bring your own cake but they charge $5pp to serve it.

I was excited for the spinach dip but it came out room temp and was underwhelming but they gave a good amount of bread to dip it with. Truffle fries were good though. Would go back to try a handheld or steak, but only if I was in the area.

One quick thing was we had to wait a while for our table which we already had as a reservation which I thought was weird. Other than that, service was fab and everyone was super nice and accommodating. As for the food: - Truffle Tortellini: 5/5 stars. This was BOMB!!! The sauce was amazing and rich with flavour. I loved the asparagus and spinach add ins which was a nice balance to the pasta carbs. I also opted in for prawns in my pasta which was a great combo. Not too salty, was just perfect. - Lychee Martini: 3.8/5 stars. Honestly I was already nursing a hangover so this was even stronger than I expected. I wish they added a bit more lychee juice to balance out the strong vodka but overall it was really good! - Passion Fruit Martini: 3/5 stars. I'm not a big passion fruit girl so thankfully it wasn't my drink. It was nice and citrusy. Super refreshing if you wanted something to sip on throughout the night. Was less strong than the lychee martini. - Chicken Hunan Kung Pao: 4.2/5 stars. WOW this was delicious. The portion was massive with lots of noodles and veggies. I personally didn't give it 5/5 as I've had better ones at Asian restaurants however, this was pretty good! Good flavour. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will be coming back again with my girls!! Can't wait to try new things
