    Chocolate truffle cake

While this was a very comfortable and home-like fine dining restaurant with exceptional service, I must say I wasn't too impressed by the food. There was nothing wrong, but I just wasn't awed by anything, which I felt I should have been for its price point. From the bread starter, which I thought was a little stale, to the calamari appetizer, which was a bit tough to chew, to my pan seared jumbo sea scallops entree, which was paired with an unsettling sour glaze, to the chocolate truffle cake, which closely resembled a Metro cake I bought a few days prior... the food was overall underwhelming and mediocre. My boyfriend ordered the lamb lollipops appetizer and absolutely loved it, but I just thought it was okay. It had a slight burnt taste to it, but not enough seasoning in my opinion. He also ordered the 10 oz grilled angus NY steak, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes, all of which was standard-tasting. Honestly, nothing "wow-ed" me. I wouldn't come back.

What a great find in Mississauga. Came here a few days ago for lunch and already know I'll be back. Quaint spot in Mississauga with an old-fashion yet luxurious vibe. We loved every dish that we ordered. I had the lamb lollipop and the sea bass with lobster risotto. I would highly recommend both dishes. They were to die for. Service was also great. We came on a weekday for lunch and it was quiet. Although I'm sure this place gets packed for dinners and on the weekends.

I came here recently for a full day work event. It was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect. The place was in a building that looked like a small house. When I went inside it was really beautifully decorated and we had an area sectioned off to ourselves by these big wooden walls that slid back and forth. As part of our event we got to prep and cook our own meals as a team building exercise. We had a caprese salad, chicken parmesan with fettuccine alfredo, and tiramisu for dessert. We were a bit nervous based on our teams cooking skills, but the chef and helpers were extremely friendly and helpful. The meal turned out amazing and was so delicious! The chicken parmesan had a bit of a kick to it, which went really great with the Alfredo sauce on the pasta. The tiramisu had a splash of Marsala wine which made it a bit different than your typical. Amazing! Would recommend.

I was invited to speak for a breakfast meeting at this restaurant. When we first pull in, I was kind of skeptical but the minute I set foot in the restaurant, everything changed. The coat check is right in the entrance when you come in on your right. On your left there is a nice and very warm 2 side fire place. You get a very nice ambiance right from the start. We were welcomed by 2 gentlemen with super thick accents :) that very nice and helpful. They had the room all set up for the presentation, perfect U shape so everyone can see and eat comfortably. The projector was there and ready to go, it took 2 minutes to set up, what a breeze! The breakfast was all ready as well, fruits, fresh pasties, they make everything fresh everyday from their own kitchen, it was so tasty!! Then besides all these lovely breakfast sides such as yogurt, granolas, juice, etc was the nice egg benedict with ham and bacon. May I state that the bacon was cooked to perfection, crisp and the egg as well. I was very pleased by the choice of the committee to have our presentation there. I would love to go back and enjoy a sit down breakfast instead of speaking :)

It caters more to the sports crowd however, there were some tables off to the side in which were catered to those with smaller children, which was where we were seated. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a kind server, that brought us to our table, and allowed us ample time to choose our menu items. I had settled on the butter chicken with rice and naan, while my son had the mini sliders with fries, my daughter had the kids' mac 'n cheese, and my mother had the fish tacos with nachos. I really enjoyed the butter chicken; the taste was excellent however, there were too many onions. I found that most of the butter chicken dish was overpowered with onions, which I didn't like. However, after scooping the onions away, it tasted great! I loved how the dish included rice and naan, such a great addition, and there was a lot of it as well! My daughter's mac 'n cheese was straight from the box, and was a tad expensive for what was given to her. We found some of the food items to be a bit pricey, especially for the children's menu however, the food was quite delicious, and the service was top-notch! The only issue was the parking, as there are many condos in the area, and finding parking is hard, even early in the morning. I will definitely give this place another try however, I may park at Square One and walk the next time.

Unfortunately, the experience behind the scenes tells a very different story. The biggest issue isn't the staff as they work hard and do the best they can under difficult circumstances. The real problem is a lack of support from management. The restaurant often appears understaffed, and scheduling doesn't seem to provide employees with the help they need during busy periods. Even more concerning is how management handles abusive patrons. I've witnessed customers become verbally abusive and borderline physically intimidating toward bartenders and servers. From what I've observed, this has contributed to high staff turnover. On more than one occasion, I've seen employees leave in tears while managers were nowhere to be found or appeared to avoid dealing with the situation. The fact that loyal regular customers have had to step in to calm situations and support staff speaks volumes. Employees should never have to rely on patrons to help keep situations under control or to feel safe at work. This business has tremendous potential because of its prime location, but "location, location, location" will only carry it so far. Dear management: it's time to step up. Support your employees, ensure they have adequate staffing, and create a safe, respectful environment for both staff and guests. Your team deserves better, and so do your customers.

The service is not very attentive, we were seated and told to use the qr code for the menu. We picked our items and not one waiter decide to come back to take our order. We had to flag down a waiter, to give in our order. When the food arrive, they weren't even sure if it was for our table, the staff never came back to check if everything was okay. We had to also flag them down to get take out boxes, and again for the bill. The food: the appetizer, we ordered the calamari it had good flavours and were crispy. Slighly more oily but still delicious. The jerk chicken had good flavours and was very tender. The veggie upgrade is NOT worth it and extra $3 for 5 carrots and 3 broccolis. The rib eye steak was okay, the cut is not the best. The hot stone makes the table very hot, the plate holding it was cracked and hazardous imo. Fries in general were tasty and the 3 different sauces were good. In general this place needs to step it up a little, atleast with service since it's the easiest thing to change. The decor can come after..

It is winter so it should be assumed we have coats. There were no coat hooks or coat check....surprising for such a beautiful and upscale place. The coats crowded our seats. They were kind enough to accommodate my need for water with meals by leaving a kettle with water for me. They do not leave jugs but our server, Snow, replenished the water for others regularly.. she was friendly, helpful and funny. Since I need vegan and gluten free the only items I could have were the salad without feta, yellow dal without ghee and plain rice. The fam loved the Afghan chicken tikka and paneer item they ordered. My dal was made without ghee as requested but was on the spicy side. The fam shared the chocolate cake and rabri desserts but zero vegan/gluten free dessert items. The decor is lovely and everyone was very professional. The meal was very expensive....well over $400 for 1 alcohol drink, 2 mocktails, 3 apps, 3 mains with 2 rice, 2naan and 1 parantha and 2 desserts. Hopefully you get Snow as your server as she was a delight. There was no DJs or live entertainment the night we went but they do have it on certain nights. It got very busy while we were there with folks of all ages. You can bring your own cake but they charge $5pp to serve it.
