Summary: This business is the epitome of what we love about Texas. Please read on! Background: As of today, we still do NOT have a washer and dryer! So we searched Yelp and saw that the reviews for Jess's was off the chart and so we brought our week's worth of laundry for their fluff and fold service. We've been there twice now. Facility Ultra clean, well kept. Professionally maintained. A/C is kept cold. Service Man...I mean women! The ladies here are sooooooooo super charming. I want to hug them all, but that'd be really creepy on my part. But seriously, the first time we visited I know they could tell we were not native Texans. But they didn't hold that against us like some people have. They truly went out of their way to greet us warmly when we entered, talked with us to see what we needed in such a nice manner, and said goodbye in the same fashion. When we came back to get our items, they were just the same. The second time was identical to the first. One of the nice ladies even remembered that my wife bought a new car and asked her how she was liking it. Wow, right? Clothes Their fluff and fold service is incredible. Everything is nicely folded. They have options for just about everything. We don't like heavy scents so we opted for their neutral detergent with fabric softener. Our clothes come out smelling neutrally clean, folded well, bagged up nicely, etc. What more could you ask for? Return visit? Our W&D will come in soon, so we won't visit as much other than to have our large items professionally washed, but we look forward to returning again. THANK YOU LADIES OF JESS'S! Then we returned this week to drop off the rest of the family's and I'm so glad we did. I ended up severely cutting my hand on the hedger the next day and completely forgot we dropped it off. Great laundry mat! Very clean, modern, you don't need coins as you can pay your washer and dryer through an app. Many size options to choose from depending on whether you have a big or small load. The owner was there and she is super nice and friendly. Helped through it all as it was my first time. The only caveat is that not a lot of people wear masks and I believe it should be enforce it. I had the unfortunate event of my washing machine breaking right after Christmas, and right after New Year's! Yay me! I looked up the closest laundromats mat and found this hidden gem!!When I walked in everyone working was extremely friendly, greeted me right away, then showed me what needed to go where, and even further on what "they thought was best for their machines and could wash the clothes the best"! I also had the pleasure of meeting Jessica, the owner, (the sweetest thing May I add)! The entire time I was there she was cleaning, wiping things down, interacting with all of the guest, and even made Time to play with one of the small children that was there. Needless to say this place is not just a laundromat, it's a place that you can come clean your clothes, IT FEELS SAFE AND HOMELIKE, the environment is clean and well taken care of, and the customer service is extraordinary! I Applaud Jessica and what she has done with her business and how she carries herself while leading it. I called to ask for a pick up for wash and fold and got an answer within a few rings. Something that I have learned to not take for granted in recent years. They have free and clear detergents witch is great since I have sensitive skin. Plus free pickup and delivery if you live within five miles! I haven't had to use a laundry mat in years but when my washer broke down I had no choice. The thought of using a public washing machine that others use makes me very uncomfortable. I was determined to find an excellent laundry facility that I trust is clean! Can't believe the best one is just 10 minutes away, Jess's laundry and fold in lake Dallas. I love this place! The people who run this laundry mat are extremely friendly and helpful! The place is so nice, very large, extremely clean even the public bathroom. I was so pleased I have returned even after my washer was running again. They have the x large machines for cleaning bulky comforters! dryer broke, haven't been to a laundry mat in years - looked for something close & With decent reviews. washed clothes at home & loaded them all up. Pulled up & unloaded clothes. Went to put them in the washer & attendant said you can't dry your clothes unless you wash them & said it's posted on the door...along with 10 other signs. Also no automatic door so everybody that walks up has to set their stuff down to pull the door open. I guess there is a reason I stay away from lake Dallas businesses. While sitting here typing two other people walked in & walked out without drying their clothes. I guess they didn't know either. read more
