I have been outsourcing kid's laundry to washitkwik for over 3 years. They are God's gift. They sort out their clothes, hang and or fold, and they put the matching bottoms/tops together. They even match socks. I send my blankets to them when i expect guests to arrive. Their service saves me at 10 hours/ week. I usually send an equivalent of 5 loads of laundry. I give them my laundry detergent to save money. They drop off next day. They always had been wearing gloves during the laundry process even before covid, and drop off is contact-less drop off and pick up. This place was amazing. Took in around fifteen pounds and it was $22 to get them back this afternoon. Price was great, but even better was the service. I wish I remember the two ladies names but they were great. I was about an hour late to meet same day service but I walked in with my suitcase and explained I need to leave in the morning for a funeral. They jumped right on it. But that is not where the customer service ended. When I went to pick them up, the same lady told me that she noticed I brought everything in a suitcase and so she folded and separated it for me. I actually enjoyed doing laundry here because the machines were always clean and well-maintained, the dryers are cheap, there's a 10% discount for students (plus a $2 bonus - I think - when you put $20 on the card), and there are little chairs and tables throughout where I got some major league studying done. Plus, they have a kids section in the corner to keep those kiddos busy and entertained. I dont have kids, but I appreciate them not running around and knocking over my basket and all. AND, they have wi-fi available, so bring in that laptop if you want to. Get your Yelp on during the spin cycle! Also convenient is the card system they have instead of quarters. I went and visited this laundry mat 2 days ago. I went around 8:45pm and it wasn't crowed at all. I have not been to the laundromat since my kids were young. Yes things have changed. I came in the door and the attendant saw I needed help and she immediately assisted. She was an older lady and I didn't get her name,but she was very helpful. She explained everything and even put me with the right machine for the amount of clothes I had. The only reasons I gave this a 3 star and not 4, was the parking lot is extremely small. The building is small to be close to the college. Also the place seemed to need a major up date for the employees and customers. I would go back just on customer service. read more

I have never been to the laundromat before this one, so I'm not sure what the expectations are, however this place has never let me down. There is a large selection of washers to choose from depending on the size of the load you're washing, which I find to be convenient. There is also many large dryers to accommodate each washer. They have a system where you use a card instead of coins. You load the card with whatever balance you want and then swipe the card at each machine to pay for your load. It's very easy! Also, the machines are very efficient- my clothes come out clean and I never have to run the dryer extra cycles to get my clothes dry. They also offer a wash and fold service which I think is a nice touch. I've never used it, but I've noticed it's very popular. Staff is also friendly- my boyfriend accidentally left his favorite shirt there once, so I went the next day to see if they found it. The attendant was very helpful and immediately produced the shirt, which staff had found and put safely in the back. Laundry day is always inconvenient for me, and coming here always eases that! While I was pregnant, I did my laundry at Roy's on Eagle. If I had known about Wash It Kwik back then, I would've started doing my laundry there a whole lot sooner. -You can use whichever is convenient for you: cash or debit card. You will be using their laundry card (after the machine puts your money on the card), but anything money that's leftover, you're refunded after you're finished with your laundry. -They do have a children's area, but it really just looked like a dark corner with a couple of chairs. -There's plenty of parking. -It's next door to Sonic. -The customer service (at least, today) was awesome! Even before the owner showed up, the attendant was polite and even helped me a little. (I had a lot, a lot of laundry to do - and a toddler in a stroller to watch.) Who I think is the owner helped me get all of my laundry to my car. That basically made my day! Unless you have kids, you have no idea how hard it can be to get laundry done at a laundry mat, with a toddler. -There are tables and chairs for students to study. Very clean facilities. The staff is also very nice. I like that they have new machines and they can accommodate very large loads. This is the nicest laundromat that I have used in Denton. (It was worth the drive through traffic on university). They use cards to pay for the machines, which is slightly complicated, but easy if you don't want to carry around a bunch of quarters. Would not recommend this place at all, based on how they handled a situation this Monday. There was one woman by herself, and another woman with her daughter who was maybe 2 or 3 years old. An older man, who appeared to be homeless (he was accepting money from other patrons) came inside and sat down (he had an article or two of clothing drying) and was charging his phone. He started STARING at the little girl. He would not take his eyes off of her. The mother, who was obviously very uncomfortable, turned her child so that she wasn't facing the man. She was making it very obvious that he was making her uncomfortable, and he would not stop. The other woman (without the child), went and said something to management. Manager came out and told the mother that if she was uncomfortable, she could move to another seat, so she did. (The man that was staring was in the bathroom when the manager told her this.) The woman that originally got management told him that it wasn't fair to make the mother move, she wasn't the problem. He seemed very irritated by her, and told her that the man wasn't doing anything wrong (even though at this point, the manager hadn't even seen the man), and walked away from the situation. When the man came out from the bathroom, he noticed the mother and daughter had moved and he MOVED SEATS TO CONTINUE STARING AT THE LITTLE GIRL. The other woman told him to stop staring at the little girl, and he mumbled something under his breath and looked down. He then got up, and walked over to the woman who was alone. He was questioning her about her laundry, then called her a b****. The woman went to tell the attendant (now a different employee), who also seemed bothered. She was unnecessarily rude to the woman, told her that she was aware of the situation, that the woman said something to the man so what was the attendant supposed to say, and that he wasn't doing anything wrong. May I also point out, that the woman who was trying to get the employees to do something was handling this very calm. At no point did she ever raise her voice, except when she told the man to stop staring at the little girl. I understand that it was not necessarily the management's responsibility to have done something. But the fact that both the manager and attendant not only blatantly ignored the situation and seemed to lack any empathy towards the mother and daughter, but actually had the audacity to be so rude, unprofessional, and irritated towards the woman who was just trying to stand up for the mother and daughter makes me want to never take my business here again. Or have anyone else support it. Never in all of my years of customer service would I act like this towards this situation. The woman should not have been treated like that for trying to help the mother and daughter, the mother and daughter should not have had to me made felt this uncomfortable, and that man DEFINITELY should not have gotten away with cursing at another patron for saying something. Plenty of other places that will provide this service, and actually care about the safety and well being of their customers. read more

They use a laundry card to wash/dry versus coins. To go get a card you need to pay $15....this is the breakdown. New card $3 deposit and $2 one wash. To use any other machines you will have to add another minimum charge of $10. My issue with the card, if I only want to dry something for 10 mins it's still going to cost 1.99. Steep. That's why I like the quarters thing. Laundromat is slightly higher priced than other mats in down. The place is clean and there is staff during the hours so that is good. I was impressed at how clean it was and the amount of workers present. I wasn't sure how to use the card machine but had a friendly worker help me out. No coins! It's great. Throws you off at first but then love it. A vast amount of carts, washing machines and dryers available(although that could be because it was a Thursday). Best wash dry fold service I've ever used, and since I've been on the road for over 2 months I've used a lot. Prices are great Staff are friendly Clothes were folded nicely and wrapped into individual bundles (Its no fun getting a bag of 35lbs of folded laundry, only to open it and for the clothes to spill out) I asked for unscented laundry detergent and the staffer was thoughtful and attentive enough to ask my preference regarding fabric softener. I've had other places use unscented detergent but forget that detail! I wish I lived in the area so I could keep using this place. read more

I cannot always do laundry since I have to go up and down stairs and at 60+ with terrible knees I have to pick and choose when to do that. My husband and I are really hardcore procrastinators. Well, over time we had accumulated 210 lbs of dirty laundry, about 13 trash bags full. (Don't judge.) Oh, and our dryer just broke so we HAD to go to a laundromat. Anyway, it is spring cleaning and knowing that even if we managed to wash all our clothes we are pretty bad at folding/hanging once it is done (clean clothes just get dumped on our bed) we looked into Wash it Kwik's unique "load and leave" and "wash and fold" services. We eventually chose the "wash and fold" services because we were almost out of laundry detergent, we were short on free time, and we thought we'd be able to spoil ourselves just this one time. We are both students, so we got the .89cents/pound rate. I'm not going to lie though, it was really expensive. The bill came out to be something like $207 for our ridiculous amount of laundry. We dropped the clothes off at around 8pm. They were done at 12pm the next day! We were expecting a delay because we had dropped off so much (even they thought it might be done closer to closing time), so it was extra surprising to get the phone call so early in the day. The clothes were meticulously folded (slacks, jeans, dressy tops, skirts, etc. hung) were and shrink-wrapped. It was generally sorted as well (t-shirts stacked together, tanktops stacked together, socks matched, etc). They provided the hangers (wire, but I don't mind). It was a sight to behold. Needless to say, we are very satisfied customers. Wash and fold was a treat, and though we probably won't do it regularly because we are poor, we might opt for the cheaper ($.49/lb) "Load and Leave" service. Either way, I'll make sure we won't postpone doing laundry to the 200lb point... So if you have a little money to drop, treat yourself too! A pretty lackluster experience, I place my order to be picked up between 7 and 3 on a Saturday, I woke up early to meet the people and spent most of my day waiting for them, no call nothing. finally, at 2, I call them and they said they were on their way so I waited some more. then at 5 I had heard nothing thus I called them again and found out my order had been canceled due to the driver saying they couldn't find the place, they have been here three other times. so I asked what could be done and the best they could offer me was to pick it up tomorrow and deliver it Monday, I work roughly 60-70 hours a week in it thus my time management is important and having to wait on clothes that should have been done earlier is a bit of an annoyance for a service that prides itself on being punctual. thus I must now find another way to get my launder done in an efficient manner as apparently this place can not be trusted. lovely. read more
