These cleaners are about the same as I've experienced elsewhere in DFW over the years. Their presses apply a great deal of pressure and will regularly damage or break buttons. When this happens, you will have to bring it to their attention, and they will replace the broken buttons with something similar (good luck finding identical buttons. I've brought in an original button for replacement on an expensive shirt. It was my last matching replacement button for this brand. Because LDC dry cleans first, they lost the button and attached some random button. I spoke to the owner, and he basically made it out to be my fault. Highly annoyed. The only reason this business is getting three stars from me is that they do generally decent work and the people are somewhat friendly. read more

I suppose I shouldn't review this place before I've paid for and picked up my items but I'm new to the area and was shocked to see the differences between the cleaners here and the ones back in California. In California, you arrive at most cleaners, are greeted by an elderly Asian man or woman who are respectful but not terribly friendly and never smile. The shop is always filled with clutter and the appearance of the place is depressing. You then have to wait several days to get your clothing back. Also, they may have a few drive throughs but in my 57 years, I've never seen one. Honestly, I was slightly disoriented when I entered the Lantana cleaners. I was caught completely off guard by the nice automatic doors and even more so when I entered and was greeted by young, smiling and dare I say very attractive people. No disrespect to the owners, but it's the last place I'd expect to see beautiful people working at. More importantly, they seemed to be happy being there, which hasn't been my experience in the other places in the area. I was further surprised when the young lady said the shirts would be ready the same day and that they had a drive thru. Also, the place is nicer looking and more modern than any cleaners I've seen. I'm expecting to pay a little more for these benefits but we'll see. I love a business that has its act together. Bravo. read more

They are, hands down, the best Dry Cleaners we've ever used and we won't take our dry cleaning anywhere else. We had a situation where a comforter went missing and Scott was incredibly apologetic, proactive in contacting and communicating with us, and ultimately when the comforter couldn't be found, went above and beyond to ensure the situation was resolved to our satisfaction. So far it is great. All my suits, pants and and shirts go there each week. Their prices are competitive with GK down the street, and so far they seem to do as good if not a better job. All their cleaning is done on prem, which enables realistic same same day service. I used Lantana Dry Cleaning for a few months. The service and quality were great. Then, suddenly one of my shirts came back with damaged buttons. (If you look at the reviews I'm not the first person to experience damaged buttons.) I advised the staff about the damaged buttons on my Giorgio Armani shirt. They said 'don't worry, Scott will call you and everything will be resolved.' Sure enough Scott called, he apologized and offered to replace the buttons, however Scott said he was not going to replace them with Giorgio Armani buttons because they were too expensive. He said I was foolish for buying expensive clothing. I am very disappointed. I have spent $500 or more per month at this location for a few months and I was surprised Scott wanted to argue with me about buying $50 worth of buttons that they damaged. Unbelievable! Then, I said I was going to take my business elsewhere and Scott said you're not allowed here anymore. I couldn't believe that they damaged my item, refused to return it to the same condition and then banned me because I was unhappy about the poor treatment? I am foolish for trusting them to take care of my clothes and dry clean them properly. I understand times are tough, but when I'm spending $6,000 to $7000 per year and you won't spend $50 to pay for something you damaged, that is irresponsible and I have no choice, but to warn other customers of what could happen to them. read more

The employees advised they couldn't count everything and to come back a different day and then advised they wouldn't be able to complete the effort for a week or two. I went into this dry cleaners because they came recommended! But that was not my experience. I can't recommend them and will never return. They quoted one price and then overcharged me. When I came back because things were not ready on time the owner was there. I appealed to him because I was being ripped off but he then tried to hold my pants hostage. Super friendly folks waited on me. I had my king size comforter cleaned and was expecting to pay $50+ for the service. It ended up being around $35, if memory serves. I was very happy with the way it turned out. Our new rescue had decided our bed was his first choice for sleeping arrangements and it had that "sleeping dog" Smell and hair on it. I was greeted and walked through how their business works. I dropped them off on Thursday around 1pm and got them back next day. They were dry cleaned and pressed correctly. Unfortunately, we will no longer be a customer here. Since using Lantana Dry Cleaners, the buttons on my husband's dress shirts are cracking and falling off - on over 8 shirts, all different, nice brands. We brought a few back to the clothing store where they were purchased for them to replace to be told it's from our dry cleaner cleaning them at too high of a heat. We never had this issue prior, so it's all we can chalk it up to. With that said, we didn't have a bad experience here and the staff was great. I have been so impressed with this dry cleaners! The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and kind when I called in with a question about a stain on my satin shoe. They were able to completely fix the stain on my shoes, I couldn't believe it and am SO thankful as the shoes were very expensive. Before this, we were going to another dry cleaner who put stickers inside all of our very expensive clothes, and were very difficult to get out, and a nuisance. This dry Cleaners is one that I will never use again. I have had to bring back several items because they were unable to clean them properly. (Spots) I understand that this is common with a lot of dry cleaners but the staff and management that I have encountered were not only defensive about their workmanship but they also tried to make you feel like it's your fault. They go on to tell me how much work and money goes into getting out spots and stains. I don't need to be told that. I even went so far as to ask why when I bring a garment back the 2nd time they are successful at getting the spot/stain out. Their explanation was that the first time they were afraid to ruin the garment. I felt that if they were able to get the stain out the second time than they should have been able to get it out the first time. I also was charged an extra $3.99 for what they call"excessive stain removal"! There is no sign in the store indicating that they may have to charge that. It just appeared on my cleaning receipt with no explanation as to which garment it was that needed "excessive stain removal" and the owner told me that he did not know but that he would stand behind his employees. The owner repeated several times that he was not a "discount cleaner" indicating that that's who I was used to dealing with. I informed him that I don't use discount cleaners and did not appreciate his comments and attitude concerning my clothing and cleaning issues. The owners appear nice until you bring them something back more than once and then they show their displeasure. Too many cleaners to have to put up with this nonsense. I'm sorry that I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jill. Jill appears to understand much better than her partner. read more
