In less than 3 months she reshaped my skinny fat physique into a nationally qualified competitor. During my prep, she wrote my meal plans to the gram and showed me the correct way to execute gym exercises. From the very start, she included me in her network of other beautiful, fit, positive, and supportive women. She emphasizes optimism and healthy body image. You will never hear a negative word come out of her mouth. She is the kind of person than makes anyone want to be become better inside and out just be being in her presence. This review is longgg overdue…read more I'm a snowbird in Tucson. And having trained with an excellent trainer in Seattle, I wanted to do something more challenging and *different*. Thanks to the great Yelp reviews I found Patricia. Patricia was offering the 12 week transformation, where you go from flab to fab, but that's not what interested me. It was her personal gym which is filled to the brim with excellent equipment for every body part (and some body parts you never knew existed - OUCH! ;) Patricia also had accompanying meal plans and supplements. Since I started with the supplements and meal plans, I've not had the excrutiating post-workout muscle pain that prevents me from getting off the floor after 12 hip thrusters (the pain is *real*, ladies!) Drinking a gallon of water a day also really helps. Thanks to Patricia's, egg whites, Isopure Whey Protein, supplements and are part of my forever meal plan, as boring as they sound. I've changed the macros of my diet, though if I really want to do the total body transformation like some of the awesome ladies whose pictures are posted on the "wall of fame" I have to reduce my fat intake to a level where I feel that life isn't worth living anymore. Like all programs, Patricia's transformation is what we make of it. In the meantime, I've stayed the same weight as when I started the program, but just the other day I deadlifted 150lbs! (Though with a hex bar.) At Lowe's, I loaded my cart with about 200lbs worth of edging stone, while another guy gaped at me. Yes, and that's the other thing - Patricia's gym is mainly female-centric, so that we ladies can feel safe and empowered to reach our utmost abilty. I really enjoyed my time training with Patricia and appreciated how accessible she was, even outside of our training sessions. And I'm looking forward to going back to Tucson and starting back up with her again.

"Day-um, mah booty!"…read more That's what went through my mind the moment I stood up out of bed on Saturday, following Friday's lower body workout. I need to stipulate that I only took the two class introductory deal, so I'm no seasoned client, but those two were enough for me to know that if I ever moved to Tucson, this would be my gym. I'm a lifelong regular gym rat with a hankering for group conditioning classes, and this place done knocked me silly. Front door staff was friendly and welcoming, and more importantly, the coach was outstanding when it came to keeping a keen eye on my form and correcting when necessary. The smallish space was equipped with bikes, ski machines, balls, bells and all the whistles that were needed to send me home an absolute mess. Just a note, they weren't big on stretching, so plan on doing that on your own. I haven't penned a review in quite some time, mainly because I'm rarely wowed. When I walked out of this place, I immediately thought, "These guys deserve a five star, stat."

The machines are rarely out of order and the entire facility is so clean. And I'm sorry, but I'm going to gatekeep my favorite class because it's always full already - but the classes offered are great! Overall, I love and recommend Chuze. My only complaints can be found in the women's bathroom. Whoever designed the doors to open into the stalls and be long enough to almost touch the toilet needs to be fired. You literally have to side step the toilet and stand in the corner to open/close the door when in the stall. And while I appreciate warm water for effective handwashing, the water in the sinks is pulled straight from the core of the earth and is always scorching hot.

I was let go from this gym after speaking up about misconduct. That alone should tell you…read moreeverything. The training is solid, that's the only reason this is one star. But the culture is toxic in ways that took me a while to fully see. Staff who are married or in relationships openly engage in inappropriate behavior with members. That's the baseline here. What's not tolerated is being a serious, independent athlete with your own voice. I had ideas for the gym regarding gear, content, improvements, that were taken and pitched by others as their own. No credit, no acknowledgment. Your place here is determined by how compliant you are, not how hard you work or how talented you are. Speak up, and you're out. Most importantly: I would not send any young girl here. I raised concerns about staff behavior toward young female members and was removed for it. If a gym's response to someone speaking up about safety is to silence them, that is not a safe environment. I came here to train and compete. I left because I refused to stay silent. If you're a serious athlete, especially a young woman, you deserve better than this.

John Bassford and Chris Garner are incredible at the sport itself but also possess a seemingly endless supply of energy, patience, and eye for detail. They will not coddle you, but they also will not make you feel stupid as you learn. And learning is what they want you to do. It is hands on, you will work with others in the class respectfully, they insure that. There is a limit anyone can learn simply practicing alone or with someone who will not challenge them. This is not something you need to take into consideration at Undisputed. If you want to improve you will have to suffer the pain education brings with it. Undisputed understands this. They will not antagonize this inevitability. Any rivalry that springs into being from sparring is kept amicable. For those with lousy vocabularies this means respectful, friendly, maybe even fun. All skill levels are embraced and all are welcome. It is a rare community, a real community, a place where you become part of something greater and are free to roam and lift weights or tap into the dynamic teachers who are there. Finally, Cassie worked with me on payment plans and proved that not all gyms are rigidly fixed on taking your money. She was accomodating and fair. I do not know any other gyms that can be said about.
