I'm going to rate this place solely based on the conversation I had with Jason on the phone. I called to ask about renting ATVs for a trip in June and he was so super helpful. He helped us decide which would be the right ATV for us to rent, but also offered to join us and bring the bigger one so my teenage son could try that out if he felt like he was ready. Already I feel like I'm cared for as a customer and that Jason was really trying to come up with the best plan for me and my son while also keeping in mind the cost and trying to keep the cost down for us. We will be going in June and I will update this review once I have actual in-person experience with this company and with Jason or any of the other employees there, but I have a feeling it's going to be a great experience. Absolutely could not be happier. My daughter and I drove in to ride the dunes. We chose the 450s for the day. Well worth every penny. To say Jason has amazing customer service might actually be an understatement. They loaded the quads and strapped them down and even hooked up the trailer for us and gave us extra gas cans to fuel up if needed. We fueled up and headed to Buttercup- per Jason's recommendation when he and I woke a few days earlier. One quad had a battery problem after we unloaded them- totally unforeseen because it started at the shop and drove up on the trailer, and it started out there for us at first. Called him- he went and got two more quads, fueled them, brought them out to us, and stayed to make sure there were no other issues. Also- he got my truck unstuck- the sand out there is deceiving and looked more packed then it was. Never once made me feel dumb about it or anything. He was seriously just super nice and helpful. Then after, we loaded up another spot he recommended that is in Yuma. And boy am I glad we listened. Its a really cool local spot that's got trails and some dunes and its just a really great variety of riding. He came out to make sure we were good and warned us of a bowl that will send ya to the hospital if you don't know its there. He told us the great areas to ride down into. I rented two powerful jet skis and had them brought to Martinez Lake on the Colorado River recently. The service was good. I looked at all the skis and selected the two we wanted to use. It was a fun day on the river with no issues whatsoever regarding the skis or the service provided. The river did have some sandbars, but after I ran onto one, I learned to stay to the sides of the river were the currents sweep away the sand and the river remains deeper. The middle if the river was ankle deep in some places, quite deep in others (I couldn't reach the bottom were I tested the water for a high cliff dive, so likely deeper than 15'). We drove many miles upstream, midweek, and there was barely a soul around. Good times! read more

Alrite..let me start by underlining the fact that is most important to me personally and compelled me to write a review for Jet Rent - Customer Service! A 5-star review is testament to the fact that you will be awed - The owners are very nice people and would work with you to ensure that you have an amazing experience irrespective of your skill-level (we were a bunch of novices to that effect). Even to the extent that they did not charge us for the extra time that we took to get used to the equipment. Now that I have talked about service, I will move on to the equipment: We were a group of 5 folks geared-up to try our hand at ATVing and thus rented 3 Honda 250 cc quads and 1 Yamaha 700 cc Rhino. The equipment was in very good shape/well-maintained and we did not face even the slightest bit of issue with it. As far as the logistics are concerned, the owner has a couple of 4x4 trucks along with the trailers which you can rent to reach the actual ATVing site (yes it takes you about 20 minutes one-way from the rental site). The prices seemed reasonable for the area and were definitely cheaper than renting equipment in one of the more popular tourist destinations in AZ. From my first phone call to the owner, Mark, it was a good experience. I called 3X's prior to picking up the Teryx and every time Mark was helpful, patient, flexible, and friendly (some owners forget how to do this after being in business for 20+ years!). We live in Branson, MO and winter in Yuma. I own a 2 person Yamaha Rhino 660. Our son and 3 teen grandkids (mom stayed home for a break!) came down for a few days of exploring the desert. We usually have neighbors who will take our guests but timing was not right this time so we needed to rent. Jet Rent had the perfect vehicle . . . a 4 seat Kawasaki Teryx. Wednesday evening we took it to Valley of the Names / The Squeeze canyon and Thursday over Woodcutter's Pass, lunch at Ligurta Cafe, and back around the north route to the Foothills. Machine ran flawlessly and was perfect for what we needed. Price seemed very fair. We returned one hour after our 24 hour rental and they did not charge us extra. Mark / Eli (once we arrived we worked mostly with Eli who was GREAT) even gave us a 22' trailer so I could haul both my own Rhino and the rental behind one tow vehicle!! No extra charge! I forgot to bring tie downs for my machine and they gladly loaned me some. No extra charge! The rental business is a tough business but Jet Rent DOES A GREAT JOB! We have used this place in the past to rent jet ski's....awesome expirience! This time we rented a pontoon boat, here are a few things to keep in mind that are NOT advertised: 1. The price online is not "updated" and does not include gas. They will however work you a deal if you rent it for longer than a day and that was much appreciated! 2. The pontoon boat does not go more than 12 mph, this was a huge fail for us but we are nice people non the less and made it work ;) 3. There is no gas gauge, also a big fail but we made it work. The boat was handed over to us very clean so we returned the favor. Also, we lightly scuffed the propellor blades and the owner was super nice and understanding that due to speed and function things weren't exactly quick moving and the river was a weedy mess this summer. Driving in to the parking lot, you might be befuddled as to where JetRent actually is. The address for JetRent is the location of a water store, but that's just a front. The real action is in the back, past the padlocked gates where almost 30 different off-roading vehicles are available for rent. If you look lost, Mark (the owner) and Clarence might wander over and ask you if are looking for their business. Single rider ATV's are available for rent here from around $20/hr for children's rentals to $35/hour for adults. Two-seater 700cc Yamaha Rhino ATV's are available for $45/hr. They have a selection of water craft as well, which are also rentable by the hour or the day. The prices are really reasonable for a 2 or 3 hour ride and their day rates are good as well. Gas not included. If you need transportation for your ATV's, they can also drop off and pick you up at Imperial Sand Dunes for $40 round trip for up to 4 ATV's. They take great care of their vehicles (Clarence changes the oil in a jet ski seven times when its engine gets flooded with water) and this makes them great to ride. It's a bit of a wonder why they didn't make our hero sign a waiver or buy insurance before they rented a Rhino out to him. Shortly after Mark dropped him off, our hero had managed to flip a 1140 pound four-wheel machine on its side into a gully by gunning it over a 45 degree dune at 30 MPH. Those things were not easy to flip back up. PROS: - Two gas stations right across the street for convenient fill-ups. - Well maintained ATV's and watercraft. - Knowledgeable staff. CONS: - They've raised ATV drop-off prices from $25 up to $40 recently due to rising gas prices. read more

They have a wide variety of equipment from beginners to pros. Really good customer service. They answered all the questions for us 5 novice riders. We ordered 3 ATV's and 1 rhino which worked great for a group of 5. The owner even rented us his truck and trailer for additional $40, which was great for our travel. We were 15 minutes late, but the owner was nice enough to let us go without any additional prorated charges. Next time I am around, I am definitely going to these guys. We rented 5 quads from jet rental. I definitely recommend. The quads were in good working order. We had no problems at all. The trailer is included and if you need a truck they will rent one. They do not keep track of the fuel in the atv's, that is your responsibility. We fill all 5 for $30, a couple of them had about half tank. Going out to imperial Dunes is great and he gives you half hour each way for getting there. Helmets and goggles are included. Prices are reasonable. If you have a problem with your atv and break down they will come get you. We will definitely use again. read more

They will happily answer all of your questions and make quality recommendations you can trust. They have a very nice selection of equipment for novices and experienced riders. All rentals include a safety helmet and goggles, along with the trailer. You can also rent a truck if you're traveling. They allowed an hour travel time during our rental so we could get out to the Imperial Sand Dunes and spend our full 2 hours playing. Super easy, plenty of equipment available so we just told them the time and the day and they had 2 quads ready. We grabbed helmets and goggles that fit, they gave us a dunes permit and the ball hitch, attached the trailer to the Jeep and we were off. They gave us 30 min to get to/from the dunes so we only paid for the hours we were actually riding. Equipment was in great condition, no stalls or choke-starts or battery problems. We had the quads back at the designated time, they unloaded them and parked their trailer and we were on the way home again. The pontoon boat is a pile of crap. You believe you are getting quality for the price you pay to rent it, but the only thing that worked on the boat was the engine and steering. Very slow boat, 60hp motor. The complete dash did not work, including the gas gauge. The radio did not work, the front navigation lights did not work, the rear navigation light was missing, so even after replacing the fuse for the lights, we still couldn't use the boat at night because of the missing light. I found the warning buzzer for the engine disconnected that warns you if the engine has a problem. I reconnected it and found the reason why it was disconnected was it always sounds. I am sure you will lose your deposit if the engine overheats because there is no warning system connected. No gauges, no buzzer, nothing. Also, the battery must be disconnected or else it will die because of a draw somewhere. Obviously the boat is not maintained at all. I would give the value of the boat at a two day rental fee. Oh, the gas tank is empty when you pick it up and whatever is in it when you return it is your loss, use it or lose it! We asked, this is the only boat they have, so if you rent the boat, this is the pile of crap you will get. We will not be renting from this place again. read more
