The dockhands at JetRide are fantastic; however, JetRide has some operations that they need to optimize and improve. 1. Good luck getting 2 Jet Skiis, EVER: I've had 4 reservations in a row in which one of my two Skiis were cancelled due to limited availability. 2. Be careful with your Sales Person: When I originally signed up to JetRide I was told a weekend reservation is about 2-weeks out. The reality is that you need to plan at least 4-5 weeks in order to get a weekend reservation. 3. Fuel costs: I strongly believe JetRide is overcharging in fuel regularly. I've had 3-4 hour boat rides cost me $25 and a 1.5-hour boat ride cost me $40. They are always unhelpful when I call to confirm the amount of gas used. 4. You can often book a book last minute if you call JetRide. A lot of people cancel last minute, so if you call in, there is a good chance they'll have a boat available. However, this still makes it difficult to coordinate with friends. Overall, I've enjoyed my membership, but I won't be renewing once my contract is over. I've seen how several of my friends boat clubs are ran and JetRide has some room for improvement. Tip for the JetRide team: 1. Train your Sales Reps to be upfront and honest about lead times. 2. Provide the gas bill at the time of returning the boat, not days later. 3. Provide better customer service when boats are canceled or a member is inquiring about a service. I always receive a "we'll get back to you" message and then nobody ever reaches back out. read more

Have nothing but good things to say about this boat club. Have been with them for 3 months now . The dock hands are always there to lend a hand. The boats are always fueled and clean. They offer great training if you have never boated. The office always answers your calls and always help you no matter what you need. Definitely a 5 star place and worth the investment. So I've been a member nearly two years. As of now, without any major changes I would not renew, nor recommend. The fleet is outdated. Even the "new" boats have problems. For instance today I was on a 19' deck boat with a 115hp motor that would not get on plane and barely reached 20mph. This boat is equipped with a ski pole, and I imagine it should, at least, get on plane let alone be powerful enough to tow a person. When I brought it back, I was told there are no other boats to change me out with. I also believe that I have had property taken as well. When I spoke to management I was told that my items "weren't turned in" by staff. I constantly tell staff about the problems with specific boats and find the boats to have the same problems that I notify staff about. The fuel is frequently erroneous. I make the same trip from the same location very frequently with high variability in fuel consumption. Overall, this is definitely a beginners boat club, with little room for growth. The fishing capable boats usually do not have fish or depth finders. I have gotten to the point that if the boat functions as it minimally is expected to, I am happy. The live wells don't work. Overall the product that I receive is not what I pay for. Not a satisfied customer. Without being negative, Justin (one of the dockhands) is the best part about this club. He does the little things like rinsing down the dock so it's not too hot for my dog. read more

First, this location doesn't even exist anymore. I've been a member for 5 years. In that time, I paid fees through covid for months when we couldn't even use the service. After my loyalty to this company, they have changed terms, and they no longer honor the account holds they sell you on. I used holds for the first 3 years, and I've had no issues. I have a business overseas and need holds when I'm gone for 3 months nearly every year. This year, I'm told no. Read VJ review below. I'm not the only member they have done this with. Buyers beware. In my 5 years, they have changed terms, increased prices, removed insurance from the membership and made it a separate cost, and even closed my closest location. They also sold us that they only provide new boats that had to be cycled out of use after 2 years. That was an outright lie. The longer I've been a member, the worse the condition of the boats has gotten. All of these changes have saved them money, increased profits for them, and made the club worse for members. I haven't seen a single change that was positive for the members. They are not interested in the client experience or happiness. This was once a decent club that was worth the membership fee. Injoined when there was only 3 locations. In my opinion, they have grown too large and expanded beyond the point of caring about members. Today, I've been trying to reach what they call member support, and I've got nothing but automated call lines and voice-mail boxes. The staff is unhelpful and borderline rude. This has become a cut rate bargain boat club, so expect that level of service and care. You will see in all these reviews that they tell the reviewer to reach out to support with their concerns. What you dont see is anyone coming back and updating their review with a solution that they provided. Thats because they dont care to resolve anything. I would highly recommend looking at other more established boat clubs that have respect and appreciation for their patrons. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Very disappointed in JetRide currently. They are suspending services right now due to COVID-19, which I believe is the right thing to do, however they are still making us pay full price for our membership. I cannot call anyone since their phone lines are not connected and I can't leave a message. I tried emailing about it and got a response 1 week later that I could go to the Stuart location. I also think this is unacceptable given the fact it is not an essential business and we are morally obligated to socially distance ourselves at this time. My husband and I just became members so we really haven't had the chance to reserve boats yet, but I will update this post as we become more active members. I'm rating Jetride a 5, so far. We know nothing about boating but Trevor was an awesome teacher. He is very patient and informative. He taught us the basics but offered as many lessons as we need to feel comfortable enough to take a boat out ourselves. So, thanks, Trevor! The only downside so far (and this is not Jetride's fault) is the town of Lantana has banned the marinas from allowing Jet ski's. This seems to be only at the Lantana marina. You can take Jet Skis out from the other locations. I will update this post at a later date when we have used the membership for some time. But, right now, Jet ride has been an awesome experience and we look forward to taking the boats out and having fun on the water! read more

I have been a member of JetRide for about a year now and thought it would be a great time to write a review for them. My family and I moved to South Florida from the Midwest and had to sell our boat before moving as it was not a boat that was made for the ocean or intercoastal waters. Before purchasing a boat, we looked around at a few Boat Rental Companies and found JetRide. Initially we were happy with the service we paid for however, the boats have really been taking a beating lately and show very poor. There are huge pieces missing from the cowlings on several boats and places where fiberglass is missing or has been chipped away. The boats you see in the photos are not even close to being in the same condition as the ones you see at the docks. During the last few months, it seems that JetRide is having problems keeping up with maintenance of their boats therefore causing members reservations to be canceled. Numerous times I have had my vessel canceled due to maintenance issues or concerns and to be honest its getting old. They do offer you another boat if there is one available, but you can't substitute a fishing boat for a pleasure boat. I've been told by the dock staff that they weren't able to have a mechanic come to the Lantana location as often to perform regular maintenance on the vessels. I think this is why they are having to cancel reservations so often. This service has allowed my family to have fun and get out onto the water but our time with JetRide is coming to an end. If your simply out to rent a boat and have a good time cruising up to Peanut Island this service is okay. If you're looking to use a vessel for fishing in the intercoastal waterways or out on the ocean, I would suggest looking at other companies. They have few boats for fishermen, are rarely available, and are in very poor shape. The staff at the docks are not afraid to tell you their thoughts about the condition of the boats and their maintenance or lack thereof if you ask. My wife and I just joined the club and we had our orientation this morning with Trevor. Great teacher and great experience! This was literally our first time operating a boat and Trevor made sure we had plenty of time practicing. What an amazing first experience with JetRide! My husband and I had our "training" session this morning with Trevor. He made us feel comfortable right from the start. We spent about an hour going over the rules and regulations of the water and he allowed us to ask any questions and took his time so we didn't feel any pressure or rushed. We then went out on a brand new boat to get "certified." My husband has been a boater all his life and we even owned our own boat in Boston, although I personally have never handled a boat. Trevor went through all of the details in regards to how to work the boat and especially on how things pertain to the Florida waterways. After he saw we were comfortable with navigating the water we then tackled docking! Trevor made it so easy and allowed me to practice several times until I was comfortable. The JetRide club is all about safety and he encouraged me to come back as often as I wanted to practice taking the boat out or even just docking.
