The tents come with electricity, water spigots, and even Wi-Fi, which made the stay super convenient. You will have to bring your everyday necessities (I.e blow up bed, flashlights, clothes, games, coolers, food/drinks, bug replient, etc) My friends and I played games, listened to music, karaoke and just bonded. We had an amazing time grilling, roasting marshmallows, and walking the beautiful trails. It was the perfect mix of outdoor fun and modern amenities. Quiet Waters Park also has other attractions such as a water park, bike trails, fishing, basketball court, and water skiing to name a few. The bathrooms are shared and aren't always cleaned. You will see creepy crawlers. Bring bug spray! We took time to unplug, unwind and enjoy the scenery. Obstacle course was fine. Most of the staff was friendly, but there was one lifeguard who was very rude to my son. I didn't purchase anything from concessions, but they also didn't have any prices listed which was annoying. I also thought the admission prices were kind of expensive. Almost $50 for my family of 4 (non residents).

I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush. They have an onsite cafe but they also allow you to bring in your own cooler, which is amazing! We packed a picnic and had a great lunch as a group. The one pro-tip I have is to book a FUNBRELLA! We thought about it too late, but these shaded pavilions are perfect for groups and reasonably priced so you don't even need a special occasion to get one. Sure I remembered it being much bigger, but Paradise Cove delivered!

The food is way too expensive with chicken tenders costing $21 and when I went to buy ice cream it said it cost $7 but I got charged for $10 because of multiple taxes.They get lots of money and still can't get more rides. Since Rapids is supposed to be a family/kid-oriented water park, I was surprised by how ratchet and inappropriate some of the DJ's music was. Even as an adult, I found it distasteful and really not appropriate for a place where there are so many children. The park could also be cleaner. The bathrooms in particular were pretty disgusting and didn't seem well maintained. The food is definitely overpriced, but that's expected at an amusement park. You also can't bring your own food into the park, so you're pretty much stuck purchasing food there. That being said, I actually thought the food was pretty good for what it is! I do think Rapids is really cute for kids, especially with all of the themed children's areas and slides. I still have fun every time I go, but I think it's important to set your expectations. Go on a weekday if you can, expect long lines on busy days, and be prepared for some cleanliness and music issues.
