Very disappointed with this location. The service, staff, and food quality are absolutely terrible. I ordered online 20 minutes before arriving, yet still had to wait another 39 minutes in the store while watching people who came after me get served first. When I asked, I was told "just a few more minutes" with no concern or apology. The staff here are rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. When I finally got the pizza home, it wasn't even warm and was not fully baked. This is unacceptable and shows they don't care about customers at all. Sadly, this is not my first bad experience here -- long waits and unprofessional service seem to be the norm. Never again. Food is good but the service was definitely lacking. The cashier was chewing gum while we ordered and waited over half an hour for our food when we were told it would be 15 minutes. Let's start with the ordering process. You can't call and get an answer on the phone. We found a way to text our order. We ordered a large pizza. 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni and asked for garlic butter dip. Order was confirmed. This location is 1.3 miles away and took 45 min. Not a big deal, we expected that. It arrived and I checked the box, no garlic dip. I asked the driver. He said they poured it over the pizza (like that was normal).. really? I said we ordered a cup/dip garlic butter and paid $1.20 extra for it. He said to call the store. I literally sat on hold for 16 minutes and never got an answer. We text the number we ordered from. It told us to come to the store and get it. Bro... you don't want me to come to the store at this point. So needless to say, we will not go back nor recommend this place. Delicious and fast pizza place. Definitely my favorite of the chain pizza places. The parking/intersection isn't the best, but that shouldn't stop you. Would give 0 stars if possible. I called the Jet's Pizza on Neil St. in Champaign because the order I had placed online and scheduled for a 12:00pm delivery was over 20 minutes late, again. Even though a Jets Pizza delivery had just been dropped off where I work around 12:15pm, but not my single slice of pepperoni and 20oz Pepsi. When I called I spoke with a woman named Casey who said she was the manager. I tried to explain the situation to her but she constantly would speak over me not allowing me to talk or hardly get a word in at all. Then she would tell me she didn't understand what I was trying to tell her. I said "That's because you are not listening to me and keep talking over me." I tried to tell her the problem again but she again consistently spoke over me and absolutely refused to listed to me. When I told her again that she isn't listening to me and keeps talking over me she became very rude, uncooperative, and kept trying brushed me off saying she had to get off the phone and call her driver to find out where my delivery was. I finally requested that she just cancel the order instead to which she agreed, and promptly hung up the phone. (I have since discovered that while she agreed to cancel my order, she never actually did.) This has occurred more times than I can count resulting in me not even ordering from Jets anymore. However I thought with the store reopening less than a mile away maybe things would be different so, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I reluctantly tried again. Jets staff members exhibit exactly what NOT to do in a customer service industry. They are rude, unhelpful to customers, and constantly make excuses for their poor behavior and untimely deliveries. They take no responsibility for their actions and blame the customer for their mistakes and short comings. If I were the owner I would be horrified at what passes for customer services in this store. Clearly I made a mistake thinking that it might be possible for things to have changed, I won't be making that mistake again. read more

They are running a promotion for 13.99 which is more than papa john or pizza hut large pizza, but the pepperoni 8 corner pizza is simply delicious. Really, really good stuff! We are just passing through town; I don't know the area at all and so basically chose a place at random from the Yelp delivery options. I made a lucky guess! The pizza was delivered quickly (way sooner than the delivery estimate) and was still blazing hot. We got 2 deep dish (the all meaty and the Eugene supreme) for 5 of us; we're all full and easily have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. This may sound odd to some of you, but this is perhaps my favorite pizza in all of C-U. I know, I know, there are a lot of different options, but there's something particularly great about Jet's. I think the crust is what does it for me. The thick crust with the blend of cheese and garlic is as original as it is delicious. Been here multiple times for a slice or two, as well as a whole pizza and have never been disappointed. Delivery is always a great option too. Their pizza is pretty good - the 8 corner pizza is a great value and it tastes very good, and the prices are decent. Their delivery times are really off however. The last two times we ordered through their web site, the pizza was 1 hour and 45 minutes past the promised delivery times, respectively, which were already 45 minutes to begin with. I think I am addicted to Jets Pizza after finally trying some Super Special slices yesterday (pepperoni, canadian bacon, green peppers, onions). Unlike other reviewers, I did not have a greasy experience. Instead, the deep dish dough reminded me a little bit of Lou Malnati's because the crust tasted like it had a hint of white wine. I stopped in to try the lunch slice special. It was as it is advertised. 2 slices of either pepperoni, sausage or cheese and a bottled drink for an even $5. I chose a slice of pepperoni & sausage. I am very picky when it comes to sausage on a pizza and this sausage was very good too me. The pizza didn't remind me of Garcia's. The two crusts and flavors are very different. I really don't like Garcia's sausage at all. I always pick if off. The pizza left my hands and face feeling very greasy and that totally grossed me out!! They have no napkins so make sure you are prepared for that. I would like to note that someone in our office ordered the Hawaiian pizza for delivery and I tried a slice of it and I thought it was really tasty but then again the grease is what mainly gets me down. I would like to try the thin crust so I might change the star rating if I think it improves. read more

My wife and I were in town for a Holiday party I was DJing; and after a night's work we were looking for some pizza that did not fall under the "corporate chain" stigma of pizza. Being a Chicago boy who became a Hoosier; I grew up with such names as Aurelio's, Lou Malnatti's, and Giordano's for go to's with pizza. The front desk at the hotel we were staying at suggested Jet's; and we thought we would give them a try. The young lady who took my order was perky, informative, and did an excellent job of selling the meal without coming off as pushy. They quoted 30-45 minutes for delivery, and thank goodness I was out of the hot tub early because 25 minutes later the pizzas were there; piping hot and ready. So kudos for speedy delivery and not having to run my pizza through a microwave. I cannot give 5 stars; mainly due to my own bias and allegiance to the pies of my sweet homeland. I will, however, say that this will be the official go to pizza when we are in the East Central Illinois area. There are many more specialties that Jet's offers that we will have to try next time; but I can say that at least on their pizza alone they were great. I could see this pizza going great with a cold beer and a U of I game. Jet's is still pretty new to Champaign and I usually wait a month or two for the restaurant to get the kinks out. I'm glad that I didn't wait though! We ordered on a Saturday night. They said the it'd take about 30 minutes. I thought that was pretty reasonable on a Saturday. They showed up on time, too! Friendly delivery guy! When I called in my order, the young girl on the phone seemed a bit confused, but I know that everyone is new and still learning. Despite a bit of confusion she was polite and my pizza still showed up on time, hot, and the order was correct. We got a hand-tossed pizza and had a coupon for a free, small deep dish. I LOVED the hand-tossed crust. I don't know what it was about it, but it was delicious, flavorful, a bit chewy and crunchy! I can't wait to have the leftovers for lunch. The deep dish was good, too. It's not like a Chicago deep dish, it's not as thick but still good! I preferred the hand-tossed crust but my husband liked the deep dish. The sauce was really awesome. It had a real fresh tomato flavor. The spices were spot on. They were real generous with the toppings. Plenty of sausage, onions and pepperoni. I ordered 1 medium pepperoni pizza and bread sticks at 7:45 p.m. After submitting my order online, I was given an estimated delivery time of 9:17. I tried to call to cancel but, the phone just rang each of the three times I called. The delivery time came and went. I called again at 9:30 to get an estimated ETA. Someone finally answered the phone BUT, I was placed on hold. I held for 15 minutes, hung up and called back. Same thing again, 15 minute hold so I hung up again and called back waited another 15 and this is when I started to doubt they even had my order so I decided to order from somewhere else. It's late, I can't even get through to anyone, my kids are hungry and I'm tired. So a little after 10:00 p.m., I ordered Domino's and 10 minutes before my order came Jets finally showed up. First off, let me just say that this place is a solid pizza joint. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Deep Dish Pizza with a Cajun Crust. It was pretty solid, although not like traditional Chicago style deep dish (think more of a thick crust that's a little softer). Pros of this place: -You can pick like 8 different styles of crust for FREE -They have 3 different styles of pizza (Thin crust, Thicker crust, Deep Dish) -They have a great selection of types of pizza -Wasn't overly pricey Cons of this place: -Can't eat inside (only takeout/delivery) -Pizza was good, but had kind of a "fast food" feel -Small pizza was an in between size (more than enough for one person, but not enough for 2 ...) First the website for online ordering is very confusing and it ended up not sending the correct order to Jets, which the cashier even admitted is very faulty. She told me next time to call to make sure the order is right. Well, kind of defeats the purpose of online ordering. When we got there the "20 minute" approx time the website gave us wasn't even close. We got there about 40 min later and still waited a solid 15 minutes. I get that they are new, but the website wasn't even close to approximating the time. There was a group of people waiting that obviously ordered online and were waiting around a LONG time. Finally we got the deep dish pizza, and it reminded me a lot of pizza hut, but extremely greasy. I'm not one to complain about the healthiness of pizza, but it left a weird grease film all over my mounth and fingers when I was done. I indulge in their lunch special a few times a month. It's a 5 dollar 2 slice deal with a 20 oz beverage. I give them four stars because their pepperoni pizza is some of the best pan pizza around. I've tried the Hawaiian and the combination pizzas as well, but they don't hold a candle to their pepperoni. I always do carry out and they've been prompt with the goods. OK. all check. The pizza itself was just OK on the whole. The sauce was actually amazing, so huge kudos for the sauce, but the rest was lacking. The cheese was on the blander side, and mostly added texture. The crust was also average, and on the chewy side. There is however a baking option for "well-done", so I might get that in the future over "regular". The Turbo crust (the garlic, butter, and romano crust) was not anything special, and pales in comparison to Domino's pizza crust. All and all, I'm not blown away, and I have had better pizza in the area, but I would go again. The sauce was definitely the high point and delicious, and I have to say the deliboats look good too and I would love to try one of them. Definitely a good little pizza place, but not the best.
