    Lemoncello spritzer
    Kristin P.

Food: sausage in sauce appetizer was perfect. side salad was ok, dressing seemed to be a mixture of cocktail sauce, olive oil, vinegar and seasonings. Fettuccine with red clam sauce had a lot of meat in it, larger chunks as well, these honestly didn't seem like clam meat, the homemade fettuccine had a great bite to it. The lemon mascarpone cake seemed like a white cake that was a bit denser similar to a pound cake, lemon mascarpone frosting could have been lemon extract. The lemoncello spritzer was good, wasn't bubbly, but was delicious . All in all a good meal although not the type of Italian meal that I have commonly had. Service: literally exceptional, these people work very hard and are moving at all times to accommodate people. Ambiance: the place was very colorful and busy, it kind of reminded me of a lot of little side Italian businesses. This place seems on the newer side, I assume they are working out some kinks, it's good, and I believe that it could be great.

Was looking for a chill bar nearby to pass some time and came across this gem. Sat at the bar and were the first customers for the day. I was thrilled to learn that this is a family-owned business and the proprietors are actually from Italy. The bartenders was so sweet and pleasant and the Prosecco I ordered was wonderfullly chilled and bubbly. Had the Shrimp Roma for something light to eat and it was delicious! The decor is absolutely beautiful but quaint with Italian songs playing overhead. Definitely the chill atmosphere I was looking for and can't wait to return to try some of the food.

Terrible service!! Server was awful . Another server Offered to replace my pasta and I kept insisting no. She still did and charged us for both orders and it was their servers error. Food was mediocre at best.

Ordered takeout after reading reviews and read their menu. I dont like eating out for Italian unless they make their own pasta. Menu says homemade pasta. Well its not homemade nor is it authentic italian. Maybe authentic americanized italian. $6 for this salad and $19 for this pasta with fresh basil, olive oil, and garlic......looks like dried basil mixed in oil. It did have chopped garlic. Our other dish was spaghetti with meatballs. It was good, nothing special. I dont know who these people are who say the pasta is homemade? It definitely is not homemade. If you like boxed pasta and dishes you can get at most americanized italian restaurants, you may enjoy this place.

    Fun decorations!

I'll post again! The food is great! The service! They treat you like family! Clean and very comfortable! Give these folks a try!

I tried the chicken and broccoli over tortellini! The sauce was excellent!! The inside of the restaurant was very cool. A fun place to eat! The servers were all actually Italian which made it feel very authentic.

    Inside Napoli's

I was craving a slice of tiramisu and came across Napoli's! Decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. While I didn't try anything else on the menu except tiramisu, I can almost guarantee the food is equally as delicious. The tiramisu was amazing and tasted fresh!! Not only that, the waiter (I didn't get his name) was incredibly nice. I will be coming back for dinner with my partner soon :)

My sister and I were looking for an Italian dinner in town after a weekend long wedding. We saw this one on Yelp so grabbed an Uber from our hotel and headed over. The decor inside is very welcoming. One of the owners sat us at a table and told us the history of how they started. They started us with this bread that was delicious. My sister ordered the chicken capellini because she wanted a lot of veggies and I ordered the manicotti. Both were really good but we also had to take some back to the hotel with us because couldn't finish our meals - which is a good thing for portion size! The only bad thing was the price. It was my fault for not double checking our bill before paying but it took so long to get them to bring the check and then again so long for them to run the card that we just wanted to get back to the hotel and sleep. But the total was just under $90 (with tip) and with each entree being $18 and $20, that means are two cocktails had to be close to $20 each. I should have double checked the receipt and that's on me but even if it was correct, that's pretty price for a glass of bubbles and an aperol spritz. Overall, delicious food though.

Fantastic food, charming waiters. Simple and delicious. The pizza crust is so well made, a lot of paces can't make a good crust.

Casual warm bowls for clean living. This lunch place has you covered when you want something hearty…read morebut not heavy. The bowls use simple ingredients for a mild but hearty meal. I ordered a power bowl, with the dressing on the side and added tofu. It was effectively a large bowl of black rice -- a meal unto itself -- topped with slightly chilled vegetables. The guacamole and slaw that came on it were crisp, and they mixed into the rice to give it a texture both smooth and crunchy. On the other hand the sweet potatoes, lentils, and tofu were cool and mushy, like they had been cooked the day before and just come out of the fridge. They warmed party in the rice. The flavors were mild, except for the dressing. I'm glad to have ordered it on the side because it overwhelmed everything else with vinegar. The ingredients generally seemed to be a couple days old. The green onions were dried out though firm, and the sourdough it came with was a bit stale. In the future, I will probably stick with the small bowl, which cuts down on the rice.

Asked staff multiple times about the order with different excuses, eventually being ignored. Food is decent - it's a great option to have in town, but never again with that level of service. Wasted my entire lunch hour waiting.

What we got: New Yorker on jalapeño bread 3/10 Tomato "bisque" 2/10 Black Angus spud 2/10 Broccoli soup 5.5/10 Sugar cookies 7/10 Banana butterscotch pie 6/10 Let's talk about why each item got it's rating. The NY was a half sandwich, which we weren't told. Flavors were mute & dull, very lacking. Tomato "bisque" should not be called that, it was offensively acidic/bitter. I honestly can't imagine how it went wrong in so many ways. The BAS upset me the most by far. It was an unseasoned, unloved, meat slab spud. No flavor, tough meat and no condiments to be found. I couldn't even tuck in because of the effort it took to cut into pieces. Broccoli soup was subpar, not seasoned and lacking but the best thing I ate in this meal. Why are the cookies sooooooo thin? But the taste was expected. Lastly the pie.... if it weren't for the absolutely soaked crust it would've been great. The filing was smooth and yummy but the crust was inedible. **Now normally I don't go so deep on a review but I was really caught off guard.

The location is a little unusual, being part of an old mall turned into an artsy shopping hub. There is a door outside of the mall to access the restaurant directly. I know if I were a student that I couldn't afford over $20 plus gratuity for a sandwich, side salad and soda. I know, it's fresh and homemade and the economy has changed but I'm just stating the facts.

It's a wonderfully unique space--part wine and spirits shop, part lively daytime dining room--with a steady flow of customers browsing bottles alongside a full bar and tables occupied by ladies who lunch and retirees enjoying a relaxed weekday afternoon. It is a surprisingly chic space for Champaign. The dining room was busy enough that there would have been a wait for a table, but we were perfectly happy at the bar. Our bartender was very friendly and welcoming, even while clearly managing a high volume of guests in what felt like a short-staffed moment. Despite that, service remained warm and attentive. We shared the traditional fondue, which was generously portioned and stayed hot for an impressively long time thanks to their setup--ideal for lingering over conversation. We both enjoyed wine pairings, and I especially loved the Winter Warmer Knob Creek cider: cozy, well-balanced, and a standout choice, particularly for anyone who appreciates Knob Creek.
