Ummmm I can't believe I have been missing out on Jet's pizza my whole life. I love pizza...a lot. I am always on the hunt for the best pizza in town and quite frankly, I think I found it. I ordered a large cheese New York style for pick up. My husband and I finished the entire pizza in the car while still sitting in the parking lot. It was so unbelievably fresh, the cheese was basically falling off. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they use but it was pretty delicious. The combination of the cheese and crust was just perfect. I didn't realize Jet's pizza is known for the Detroit style...but now after more research I learned Detroit is where it all started. As much as I want to order another New York style I know I need to go back and try the Detroit style. Can't wait! read more

I placed my order and it got here in less then 20 minutes I was surprised I ordered a 18" chocolate chip cookie and medium since pizza but when I took a bite it was so soft not in a good way half of it was straight dough and not the good kind. I was disappointed I sat there sad drinking my Dr Pepper which I also ordered but yes I did receive my refund because I ordered though grubhub but what I was a waste of time but I still give three 3 stars because it could have tasted good if it was baked thoroughly. read more

The cheese pizza was good and we love to dip it in their amazing ranch. Sadly we also ordered the "All Meaty" with no ham and the whole pizza was burnt. I called and was told that the person that cut the pizza "says it was not burnt". She said that's how they cook their pizza and that because it has so many toppings they have to over cook it and that next time I need to ask for it lightly cooked. too many toppings yet we asked for no ham and this is a pizza you offer on your site and no where does it say it's crispy black burned. I was offered a $10 credit for a future order because "my house was already too far for them," they were too busy to make me a another one, and if I wanted another one it would take them a few hours to bring it to me. Wtf. I have never heard such a thing. If my house was "too far" then they should have said they don't deliver to my area from the get-go but they did sooooooo I don't get it??!?! And none of the previous pizzas I've ordered were overdone, burned, black, crispy or charred. None of the photos on their website or even here on Yelp look black and charred burned. So how can they say that's how they cook all their pizzas? Yet cheese pizza was perfect. Terrible customer service and I will never order from this location again. So messed up. read more

I first heard about Jet's Pizza when they catered lunch at the office I work at. I couldn't believe I have never heard about them before. The square pizza was incredible! It almost tastes like a pizza on bread stick crust. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I personally love thick pizza crust. It was cooked well done and crispy just how I enjoy it. Not to worry if you aren't a fan of thick pizza crust, they have normal circle shaped pizza that is delicious too. The sauce is seasoned well. Their salads are hearty, and topped heavily with their toppings. Since our office lunch I have ordered delivery several times to my home and it has been delicious every time and delivered quickly. We love Jets Pizza in Tampa however our last order left us quite disappointed. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and it only had a smidge of sauce on it. We get this pizza often so we know what the normal amount of sauce is and this wasn't even close. We called to let them know but the person on the phone did not seem very concerned about it and said they started putting less because of online reviews saying there was too much sauce. Well this was way less. They offered for us to pick up a new pizza to replace it however we live too far to drive out to pick up one pizza. A coupon or free pizza on our next order would be nice but they did not offer that. Very disappointed in their customer service and pizza tonight. read more

Communication problem with this store as I texted order in 10 am for pick up 2:30 pm. 15 minutes out called to alert arrival and they had no order.. News flash! If you were a fan of Pizza Squared's Detroit pizza then you'll love Jet pizzas deep dish pizza. It's funny but I hear deep dish and I hear Detroit style but I've always known it as Sicilian pizza. A very thick sauce more like tomato paste than a tomato sauce that gives a nice tart acidy base, a crisp crust surround and bottom with a fluffy thick inner crust. A very well thought out, high quality pizza for sure. Now attention Jets pizza! Don't mess this up by changing the formula! How many pizza chains have we seen crumble because they get cheap or skimpy on the pie in order to add to add 2 cents to the shareholders stock price? Stick to the game plan please. Enjoy. read more

Food is pretty good. Greek salad is great and greatly proportioned. The reasons this wasn't given 5 stars is because the food isn't always complete at the time anticipated, and the staff members tend not to be too friendly. Stop in and check out this location! I noticed that all of the other Jet's locations did not have the greatest reviews and I'm not sure if it's because of the pizza or the service but the service at this location is great. I stopped in last night and got 2 pepperoni slices on the go. I have previously had a whole pizza from them but it was because the owner's dad was handing out coupons in the Walmart parking lot up the street. The pizza itself is delicious and flavorful. It's made in a deep dish with a yummy buttery crust. I would think it's a cross between Little Caesars (never had Little Caesars but I know they have a similar deep dish pizza) and Pizza Squared Detroit Style pizza. I'll only compare to Pizza Squared since I've had that. If you like deep dish but you don't like the reverse topping style that is detroit style pizza (sauce on top...I love it but not for everyone) then go ahead and try Jet's. If you're skeptical about the pizza itself, it's $1.87 for a decent sized square slice so it might be worth your while to try. All in all good pizza. When I get a craving for that good buttery crust again, I'll be back. read more

Ordered online for pickup and I was blown away with the numerous customization options available. We got the Feed 5 deal on the website and got a large salad, breadsticks, 2 liter, large pizza, and cinnamon sticks for around $30. On the pizza you can customize the crust, how well it is cooked, how much cheese, how much sauce, what type of sauce, what type of crust flavor, and toppings. You can even get the cinnamon sticks without cinnamon. Everything was ready when it was supposed to be and all delicious. Pretty sure the dressing for the salad was homemade as well. I was asked to place a pizza order for the office because it's a rainy day. Although Jets doesn't technically open until 11:00 am, they came through for me! I ordered 11 various specialty pizzas, 3 gluten free and a large salad - all was delivered before 12:30! The pizzas were hot and may I say very tasty and the greek salad was really fresh and delicious. I spoke to Eddie a couple of times because I had issues placing the on-line order, but he was very helpful. And Matt delivered for us and was really passionate about Jet's and made sure to point out they use fresh ingredients and make their bread and salad dressing fresh each day. Highly recommend! Everyone should try jets. The 8 corner pizza is the hands down best pizza I've ever had. But I'm really writing today to mention the service. I was out running errands with my baby and he fell asleep in his car seat. I called in my pick up order from the car parked in front of the building. One of the managers, Lexi, saw me sitting there for a bit and came up to my car to ask if I was waiting on an order. She offered to take my payment and bring the pizza out for me, noticing I had a sleeping baby. She was incredibly helpful and sweet. This is next level customer service. She went above and beyond to help me out and make it the best experience she could. I really appreciated her help and it saved me a lot of juggling between a baby and pizza. read more

I absolutely love this place!! Their pizza is amazing. I have always been a thin crust pizza kind of girl. However, their deep dish is the bomb!! The crust is yummy, light and slightly crispy around the edges (which I just love). In addition, their sauce is slightly sweet, but,not overwhelmingly so and they put just the right amount of sauce on. Some places either over do the sauce or skimp. But, not Jets. They are spot on with the amount of sauce. In addition to the yumminess of the pizza, they are very good at having your pizza ready when they say they will. I never have to wait when I go to pick it up. Their team members are very nice and personable. They always great me with a smile and make sure that I am happy with my order. Ok COVID-19 taken into consideration , this was the worst experience I have ever had at a pizza place. First I ordered at 635pm on line and was offered 15 minute turnaround time but figured I would give them 45 mins taking into consideration it was close to 7pm on a Friday night. I arrive right at the time pizza was to be done 715pm. I was told "should only be about 7-8 mins more"..no problem. Now the place is half full , customers that arrived both before and after me (roughly 10-15 people) are freaking out saying things like "I've been waiting over an hour past the time I was given to arrive!" . So now I'm a little worried and it's like 745pm ( one half hour past the time I was given and I'm thinking "what happened to 7-8 mins?" . So I go back up to the counter , give them my name, and ask "what's up withy pizza?" . I'm told "sorry we burned the first one and we are cooking another for you". The young girl with reddish hair is doing all she can to keep running between the kitchen and the counter but clearly doesn't have enough time to sit there and field complaints during this complete mess. There are very few pizzas in the two pizza warmers , so I look through the glass to see what they are doing and why there are no pizzas coming out? Well there are like 8 people back there , one is translating orders to the kitchen staff and they are working so slow and could care less it was like they were going in reverse. I go back up to the counter around 750pm and ask "about how long on the pizza (remember they burned the first one). ?" . I'm told "sorry we are rushing it about 8mins". Now about 25 mins after that they tell me pizza is ready. My complaint is not things went off the rails for them it was the total lack of communication . I don't put this on all the young kids trying to.rum the place I put a great deal of it on the store manager and owner for not properly training them or to get the right staff for this type of work. I watched at least 7-8 people flat walk out and others curse out the staff and demand their money back. Maybe I will go to "another" Jets again a distant time in the future but never ever this location again. Of the person running the show this evening was properly trained they wld offer a voucher for a pizza in the future or a discount on their order or something....but nope nothing , that's a management issue not a staff issue. read more

I'm going to split it down the middle. Though I think it's more towards 4 stars. I ordered a small square (1/2 my topping choices, 1/2 my son's) and an order of wings (flats only with hot sauce). I freaking LOVED the pizza!!!! I knew I would as I've had it from Brandon and Clearwater locations. I honestly think it's the best in the Bay area (though I know many who would dispute that). I don't know of another delivery place in my area where I can get this kind of pizza. Also, I had a family emergency right after I ordered and called on my way out the door to ask if they could delay the delivery time by 45 minutes and they were totally cool about it. Having said that, my son thought it was so-so and the wings came with mostly drumsticks and only 2 flats. And they came with ranch. I am very particular in the food I choose to eat when it comes to quality. I am very particular in the quality of service given by a vendor. When both are met, I am a longtime loyal customer. Well, when I moved to Carrollwood, I was given a card by a delivery person in my new complex to try Jet's; his greeting earned him a 5-star. I stopped in shortly thereafter and the initial presentation earned another 5-star. The friendly, helpful staff scored another 5-star. And my superb 8-square pizza scored three 5-stars for presentation, temperature, and taste. I have gone there ever since. Today, I was not paying attention when I text in my order to take advantage of the 20% discount. When I got there and it was caught, she IMMEDIATELY ordered me a new pizza and apologized for the short wait it would take. Apologize?! It was my mistake. She was so professional in the manner in which she handled the situation. And they gained another new customer....my guest that night LOVED her pizza....most pizzas don't agree with her stomach but Jet's did on a previous visit at my condo and she wanted it again.
