Please see the other reviews for this place and understand Jetset is trash. Come here if you want the b bartender to hate you for drinking anything! No different from your boss at a 9 to 5... honestly. I went here on my bday medium buzzed with my niece and a few ppl and one of the bartenders decided to give my niece something she DIDN'T pay for and told her she lost a strike for disagreeing with the bartender who tried to make her pay for something she didn't want or ask for. I'm the aunt so I get when my niece is in the wrong, 4 year difference and an engineering career on my part, but I heard every word and know the bartender just saw my POC niece and decided to cause a problem. Racism 100% bc I had others there who were just as buzzed or worse that the same bartender didn't cause a problem with... Also... The dance floor was deader than dead ( no wonder why). I would have had a better time in a parking lot with a speaker. This place is less fun than a funeral. Good luck. Maybe just drink at home considering the cost of this basement and the customer service. This is a place that I can only come when I am already drunk. The floor is always wet and the ventilation is not great so it is super muggy/humid. A lot of white gay boys who take their shirts off :( and are so sweaty. However! Very fun place to come while drunk. So many people dancing. Lots of hot girls :) Nice drinks :) No patio :( read more

Came here for a friend's birthday, the music was good & I loved the crowd. **except my one complaint that I've noticed I'm not alone in, is the arrogance of the bartenders. My boyfriend (the literal DD) asked if he could have water and the bartender genuinely laughed in his face & said "that's a funny joke" mind you I am a bartender and understand what it's like to have to get water while you're in the weeds, but that was not what this was. It was pushing closing, and they had time.... But I guess they're too good for water? Idk. This happened August of 2024 -- my friends have gone again & do like the space/feel like it's a safe space to enjoy dancing and that's why this gets two stars & not one read more

Jetset used to be THE spot for my queer friends and I to go dancing, but my recent visit from Friday last week made me think it isnt what it used to be anymore. Unfortunately, vibes from staff were hostile, my favorite dj started appealing to a wider audience more (considering the audience has become more straight) resulting to cringe music to dance to. This is very important to me especially because Jetset feels like its starting to lose its purpose to serve as a safe queer space and end up into just another gay club turned into straight people playground. What needs to change: Increased respect from staff, less mainstream radio music (please, we used to have ABBA, SOPHIE, Charlie XCX?), and less straight girls bringing their straight (homophobic) boyfriends. read more

I used to love Jetset! Now it's just kinda meh. They hardly play club music, and it honestly seems like the same playlist every weekend. Like DJs have no creativity. DJ JR Kennedy I'm looking at you. Been here multiple times, but this most recent time the staff were super rude. We were just taking photos in a part of the club where nobody else was and a bartender went out of their way to come up to us and say "this isn't a photo booth, wrap it up." Are people not allowed to take photos on a night out? Idk it just felt unnecessarily rude considering we weren't bothering anybody. Usually have a good experience, but this was a major buzzkill for the night. Not sure if we'll be coming back. read more

i love a good gay bar- Its so important to have spaces in which people can express themselves fully, however this is not one of them. I've had some good times here, but the workers are consistently disrespectful and incredibly careless. Me and a few of my girlfriends went into the bathroom to pee and one of the workers banged/hung on the stall door (without informing us she worked there) and proceeded to kick and scream at us through the door. we were in the genderless bathroom and all thought it was a man trying to get in- never felt more unsafe and uncomfortable in a space that's meant to be designated to queer individuals just trying to have a good time. I had high hopes for this place and genuinely think it could be a really great establishment if they hired people who ACTUALLY cared about the safety and comfortability of women!! sorry I don't wanna go to the bathroom alone drunk. left angry and upset. do better please? Basically the only dancing spot we will go to in Northeast, drinks aren't priced terribly and it is the cleanest dance club by far. Music can be hit or miss but is usually good, dance floor is a lot smaller than a place like basement bar or 90s but usually not a problem. Never had a problem with the servers either! read more

Cool vibe, but the bald bartender was an asshole. Apparently, he didn't serve my (Black, LGBTQ) friend, and when she confronted him about it, he mocked her about being "straight, young bipoc" and said something implying that this space was for gay men. They got into an argument that ended with him kicking her out. I was not present for this interaction, but I did order a water, and he skipped over me and the young woman next to me as he continued to serve other people for around 10 minutes. He repeatedly mocked our eyeliner weirdly. This dude ruined the night for my friends and me. Guy needs to stop crying about the fact that LGBTQ people aren't just cis white dudes. read more

A manager pretended that there were laws against serving water after 2am. Not only untrue but rude.

It's not for black queers. We we're there tonight, the co-owner/bartender is very disrespectful towards black people. He treated me and my girlfriend with the out most disrespect. He threw our money back at us. Then grabbed my girlfriend's arm and said, "If you have to ask for the price go to another bar". We paid him anyways. We couldn't even stomach the drinks. He broke into a whole fist fight with us after. Even the employees said he does get into such situations often. Never coming back. Black people don't even think about going here. read more
